It's nice to "like" but we're not on f***ing F***book here
True, we are NOT facebook, but we ARE a social network where being nice is encouraged and codified in rules. No requirement to like, of course, but no discouragement either.

My liking behavior is not very consistent but I have been known to like old posts as I run in to them. It is hard for me to like something sad, for example, but I find that I sometimes do as an acknowledgment. With no "dislike" option we have to adapt to the software...

My point I guess is, do what you like with the software and we will adjust as necessary...

Please forgive my way off topic post.

Lo and Behold! The transformative power of Vapor.
how is the grip compared to the M ?
Part of it is smooth so it is easier to find the textured section where the carb hole is. I tend to roll the body along my fingers more when heating with the OMNI. You can rely more on feel for that matter. I should try it in the dark sometime.
It was almost startling the first few times, just how much "haptic feedback" there is with the Omni.
Yes, I'm not the only one that noticed this. I'm guessing all the other positives contribute to this. It is only going to get better with further improvements to the Omni and when they roll out the Ti condensers. :brow:

Some poster misunderstood what I meant about the last flash sale. You can buy a condenser and get a free exotic wood MP for 9$. I bought the M and Ti tip on two different sale days. So over time, I will have an M XL Ti. for under 90$

I assume you mean "you could" buy for that price as the flash sales are shortlived by their nature. It's kinda a bummer for me as Thursdays are the only day I can never be available at that time so I can't participate. I guess it's a savings tool for me... ;)

Other than durability and weight, are there any other practical differences between a Ti condenser and a steel one? I can't imagine that vapor is inside the condenser long enough to perform differently in any way. How else is it different? I suppose it may not get as warm so may help to cool a little...

Mass another factor as well perhaps? It is possible to go thinner, if they want to go with a different ring size or make it thicker where the ring needs to be, to keep things backward compatible.

The speed of cooling and heating might play into things perhaps? I do think the 'heptic' quality would be enhanced.

I have been a first time buyer for a lot of vapes. So I plan accordingly. :D The first two sales were 4/20 and Black Friday-Cyber Monday. The Full XL upgrade was a flash sale.

So you can buy an M, Then a Ti, Then an XL w MP. An M XL Ti on the slow upgrade path. :freak: Already was considering getting a Vapcap -S from Puffitup and doing the same thing. So anybody else can take advantage of that if they like.

Still waiting for the green bag to arrive. Never used a spinning MP ever. So I put the tip on the MP end. Now the plain end is the MP end. So I slide my 18mm Vong (that was meant for my UD )into the plain end. Viola! M Spinning Vong. :science:It works great. Now I get how a spinning MP improves things.

Hey guys, just posting this in case anyone else has/gets an issue with their caps getting stuck on the tip after it cools down:

I was having an issue with my cap getting stuck on the tip after it cools down every so often (like between every 1-3 hits). It would take a lot of force to pry it out, often spilling the contents in the bowl when it did come out. I didnt know why this was happening, so I hit up Dynavap and they suspected that perhaps the inside of the cap needed a little cleaning. It looked clean to me already when I put a light to it, but I gave it a shot. I rubbed the inside of the cap with an iso dabbed qtip and rinsed it with water, let it dry completely, and surprisingly since then I havent encountered this issue again. Seems obvious in hindsight, but I was thinking the diameter of my cap was a touch too small, so if you have this problem and youre as clueless as me, Id try cleaning the cap first.

After my glass ashcatcher bit the dust last week, thought I’d try silicone. This is an Eyce hammer bubbler. Removing the glass bowl reveals a 10mm aperture in the downstem that fits and holds a mouthpiece or M. Worked pretty well.

Edit: also holds a vong

Came in an XL Dynavap tube. Really wanted a light colored MP. Can't get it to spin with my M, but still an improvement. I guess. Oh and there is a red ring on the bottom of the tube.

the new mouthpiece looks very nice, congrats. I am also perplexed by the ease or difficulty of the spinning mp. There are days when it spins nice and loose after reassembly and there are definitely days when it's very resistant to spinning. I've tried lubing them with wax and nose oil, it helps a bit but once the lubricant dries it actually adds to the friction it feels like.

Edit-anyone else checked out the new wood vongs on IG? Looks like walnut and maple?

Ah, so if I do everything right, it could still not spin. A tug of war was happening to me earlier. :bang:Glad I gave up after a while. Yes wood and metal expands and contracts with the outside temps and humidity. The MP I have is no longer mint white and I can see all the wood grain and texture from all my fumbling. Plus side is that my MP will be good heat insulation when the M body heats up. I do intend to heat it like a campfire stick in the wild with candles, campstoves, bic lighters, etc. It will be my deep woods vapcap. :sherlock:

The red heat resistant(?) ring at the bottom of my dynatube was a cute little addition. I did the same thing myself with my 3D stash and mentioned it on this thread. So how cool is that? And my favorite pick that I got from the Vape Critic can fit side by side in the tube as well.

Many M's will be modded into XL-M's now in this forum.

Any advice to get the MP to spin?

I watched George's video on this but it is still very hard to spin.
I tried to sandpaper it a bit on the inside.
Still no free spinning.

A friend of mine has a free spinning one.
Very very handy while heating

did you check the orings sizes? I ordered a MP+XL condenser about a month ago and got 2 big 1 small instead of 1 big 2 small -- if the big oring is holding the MP, it won't spin. I solved it by taking the small oring from the old condenser and it worked like a charm!

This weekend I received my Pipes Mini Portside Induction Heater.

Here's a picture of my Omni XL triplets & Induction heaters.

I've been using the Skelator at home and the Portside for out and about.

Now the Mini will be for out and about and since i really don't need the regular sized Portside, i will be listing it in the classifieds section shortly.

Edit: Portside Sold 5 minutes after i posted it.
