aaah thank you.

I think i will go with the weapon1.
its 20$ -20% forum discount = 16$ + 14$ EU shipping = 30$ = 24,5EUR.

thats half the price for a reduced gr8tr that I could buy here for around 48EUR.

I like my S&B grinders but I want the kief (dont now why, i like toys).

mmmh, during my writing I get second thoughts.

gr8tr vs SW1

mmmmh
I was lookimg at the SW1 and the price seems great. What is the coupon you have to bring it down to 16?

I'm wondering if there is a flaw with the design of the SW1 since the deal just seems to good.

does the SW1 have the single revolution feature from the SW2 ?

why the fck is int. shipping for a "super weapon1" 13$ and shipping for a "super weapon2" 24$ ?

doesnt make sense

International raise dramatically after a certain weight amount. And the SWII is about twice the weight of the SWI.

Also, USPS just raised international shipping rates dramatically a few days ago. So I believe the starting cost to ship internationally from the US is now about ~$20.

There’s nothing wrong with them. We are just too lazy to do marketing/advertising.

I've been using a cheap 2-inch "Golden Bell" 4-part grinder that I purchased on amazon for $9 for over a year. I'm now ready to upgrade to something good.

Is this the one you have? If so, what's you're opinion of it?

@Summer did you mean to post a link?
I was using a cheap, ~$9 "G STAR GRINDER" 3-part from Amazon. the kief/keef catcher is a bit coarse but it's still nice when the kief builds up. It works fine.. even if a bit stays stuck on the grinding chamber. the grind seems medium-fine? I've been pretty satisfied with it, have not tried fancy grinders though

+1000! @NewVape420 @NewVape710 please give us the best 3 piece known to mankind!

Newvape tried already, and failed. You can still find some in the wild, but they don't work great (coming from the inventors).

The best 3 piece is already out there IMO. And that would be the Kannastor Gr8tr + storage puck. This gives you both plates, plus the "thicker" top piece and curved scoop out bottom. Perfect size IMO, choice of grind consistency (on the finer side of coarse - even the coarse plate), and you still get a smaller storage puck out of it if you desire. Not for everyone, as some people have complained about loose screens and plates, however i've had 4 of these over the years, and never once had that issue so go figure.

If I could use hand turn grinders, that's the 3 piece i'd be going with today.

It looks like NewVape did release a grinder 3 years ago, but I'd still be interested in seeing what they could come up with today as that's a lot of time for proper research and development.

I've used a Kannastor for years and always thought it was a POS to be honest, wish I had a Mendo Mulcher.

No, it would be this one: https://www.amazon.com/Golden-Bell-...517026017&sr=1-4&keywords=golden+bell+grinder

It's cheap and does the job...but it's time for me to upgrade to something quality instead of this cheap zinc shit.

If I didn't have a grinder, and just couldn't afford a high end grinder, I wouldn't be opposed to buying another one in a pinch.

Well...I noticed that everyonedoesit.com currently has the SLX grinders (amongst others, including Space Case, Kannastore, and Cali Crushers) on sale for 50% off right now, so I picked up the green one I wanted for less than $34 after shipping.

After reading through posts in this thread starting sometime back in 2016, I'd narrowed my finalists to the SLX 2.0 and the SWII. I ended up going with the SLX, but I still will be keeping my eye on ID's grinders, as they will be next in line if I get a strong enough GrAS itch in the near future...or if the SLX does not live up to my expectations.

To all who've posted in this thread, thanks for all the info! It was extremely helpful in figuring out the current state of popular grinders, and narrowing down what I wanted to purchase :-)

Got the Lift Innovations grinder in recently after a lot of deliberation and Im really happy with it. This thing is built like a tank and I think it will last me for life, so it was very much worth the premium price for me. I dont think Ill ever need another grinder again, besides a finishing grinder for very fine grinds if needed.

I have tested and distributed hundreds of grinders.
Almost all of them out there.
I have every Space Case, but prefer my SCS for it's grind.
I have been spoiled by my Chewy 2...... push a button, and the herb gets mulched and distributed for you!
In spite of the units I will speak of, I still do love the Chewy 2!
I got 2 new grinders yesterday, that are unique to say the least.
I prefer 2 piece grinders, and these are that.
I have had many Volcano Grinders, but one grinder I received last night was the S&B Herb Mill....
It is Giant sized, and can pulverize a few grams at a shot.
The other great grinder I got is the NewVape 3 inch Fine Grinder with rubber armbands.
The bands make it easy as pie to grip.
The thing is solid... weighs 407 grams (just shy of a pound)
It does what it promises... it gives a fine grind, no matter the bud.
Just thought I would share the most recent additions to my collection.

@Vitolo is the grind consitency of the NewVape Fine Grinder comparable to the Magic Flight Finishing Grinder?

Looking for something a little more convenient than the MFLB FG.

Thanks for sharing. :)

The S&B orange, two-piece, acrylic grinder is a beast. It gets a finer grind than pretty much anything else, other than an electric coffee grinder, which I find to be the best (contrary to many others who are afraid of losing kief).

Using a brush, you can get pretty much all of the kief off of the walls of the coffee grinder, and either put it back into the ground bud, or sift it and store it. An almost powdery consistency works best for vaporizing, imo.

Does anyone know if they've made a metal two-piece grinder with pyramid teeth, like the S&B acrylic one? That would be awesome.

Kief after using a coffee grinder? I would guess that are mainly dust grinded plant parts but less trichomes. BTW it's a similar situation with all your grinders with a kief screen insert. If you want GOOD kief or better dry sift aka mostly trichomes agitate your flowers in a proper way BEFORE grinding. Sorry, just my :2c:

Bologna

(zombie) Woof.
I dunno, I’m surprised how little leaf material actually goes through the kief screen that came in my LIFT... it’s way finer than the one in my shitty old grinder... and I kinda like that it’s collection is just a happy byproduct of what’s really most important... and not yet another step in the process... I’m happy with the quality.

Edit: at least for now anyway, but that will probably change when I start growing (again)...

Not IME, probably the farthest thing from a beast - many of the plastic points on the tips of the diamond teeth broke off. Happened to over the dozen+ that i've owned. I'd never go back to an acrylic $5 grinder again, unless it was a use and toss scenario. Gotta love S&B and their love of PLASTIC!

I used to think that way too, and used it exclusively for over a year earlier in my vape career when I didn't know any better. Now i'd prefer to use a S&B grinder over a coffee grinder, unless it's for hashish (the rock hard stuff). Coffee grinders absolutely destroy the fuck out of your bud and trichs IMO, and cause waste... if you're going that way, might as well just vape the kief only? Instead of vaping powdered herb, I do the opposite and just pluck calyxes off the bud and enjoy it without any "destruction". Or i'll grind with the minimal amount of destruction.... some grinders are better than others in "minimal" processing/contact. The Lift Innovations Clipper actually "cuts" the bud instead of "grinds" IIRC.

Yeah man, do some searching in this thread - @lazylathe bought one - called the Boomers I think. Epic fail.
