That doesn't automatically make it cool. Yodeling and those huge cow bells come from there too you know.......

OF

Hey René, alias @vapman, what do you think? If you would take one of these huge cow bells as a heating pan, a little bit wood around and some gas burner and a few strong ventilators and mac-givering it together, would it be enough to weedalize an arena full with yodeling and swiss wrestling people and their audience, let's say, all together 50'000 people? :D

And would they stop to fight or only stop to yodel .....or doing both together at the same time? :hmm:
These could be a social science research of interest, you should receive subventions for.:science:

Anyway, my preferred area for vapman-ing is the forest: (even if I got only a potatoe for camera);)

Great outdoor camp! :) I wish my spinal column would still allow activities like that!
Oh yes, I understand you! I have similar problems with my back and legs, so I looked out for a place not too far in the forest. i only walk, let's say under 1 h and with only 12 kilos backpack (indeed a super comfortable rucksack!).

Sometimes I hear the city a little bit, but hey, it's in the woods and I have my retreat. And I built this summer a very good trapper bed, that helps. :myday::D

My little Vapman Family wanted to say "Hello" to all you fine Vapmen and Vapwomen... :)

I am sorry - I am a horrible photographer with a real bad phone camera. The image does not really reflect the beauty of those 4 jewels. There is one family member missing, my Yew wood Vapman. But I gave to my ex-wife as a gift, together with a Vapman Station. She is fighting breast cancer and found out that the Vapman is the best device for her and her special requirements. She was so happy to receive it and sends her kindest regards to all you Vapman lovers out here who made me discover this wonderful piece of love & technology.

One love, folks - Enjoy your weekend and fire up your Vapman! :)

@Dynavaper
this is a really neatlooking setup! May I ask where you got the glass mouthpiece from?

and a general question:
I got a matrix sidecar lately. How do you use your vapman for water bonging?
Would like to get some advice for heating / drawing timing: drawing 10sec nonstop for the heating-cycle + another 5 or so to inhale the vapor is not doable for me..

@Dynavaper

thanks for the info. Lucky me I own a vapcap and a vaponic as well: how do you use the vapcap with a water piece? I tried several techniques I read somewhere but tbh I even get bigger clouds and better effects using it dry..

How do you heat and draw?

If you take the stem off and invert it, the center section will mate up with 14mm GonGs like it was on purpose...... FWIW I wrapped a bit of Plumbers Tape (white Teflon tape used to seal water connections and stuff) so the rim wouldn't get scratched.

Start out with the normal heating routine (heat for a four or five count, then hit it). Then you can start adding more heat during the hit to keep production where you want. I find holding off heating for 3 or 4 seconds works for me. Watch the output (vapor coming from the center section) in real time for guidance?

Like getting to know the little fellow at the start, you have to fiddle a bit to find what suits you best.

BTW the tube you want is normal 1/4 OD tube, either glass or Acrylic plastic is used for MFLB. I have a stick of it somewhere, if you're local (US) PM me with your name and address and how long you want it made and I'll mail you a couple to play with?

thanks for the offer OF, but Im a German living in Germany.. tough I get a parcel from US sent soon I do not want to annoy my friend who forwards it to me.. I do appreciate it tough!

How do you cut the glass? I heard the method
"use a cotton fibre, dumb it in oil/Diesel, wrap it around, burn off" works well?

I also have to get something done for the vape:

22-5-cm-hohe-matrix-sidecar-bong-vogelk-fig.jpg
it is quite difficult to heat and DRAW at the same time..

can you please specify your timings (rather: scheme from drawing to heating)

Any chance of getting a stem or two in the package before it leaves (I'm happy to send it to whoever is sending the package to you.

Cutting small bore glass tube is easy. Don't mess with fire and oil soaked strings and stuff. Instead file a nick where you want to cut (a heavy scratch will work fine to concentrate the stresses). Then hold the tube with nick outward with your thumbs together opposite it and flex the tube like you're breaking a pencil. The glass (really a fluid....) condenses the stress on the fault (the scratch you made) and the material tears along the closest path (around the tube). Perfect break, sharp edges.

The 'fire polish' the ends. Hold them in a torch flame until they glow yellow (from the Sodium in the glass) then let it cool slowly. The sharpest edges will melt first and round off like you see on the rim of a wine glass (which is also fire polished).

Timing advice is too subjective. My torch is more or less hot that yours for a starter? My advice is to start like you're hitting the VM normally (the pan will retain heat long enough to get it into the vape. Then start adding additional heat to extend the hit as you like.

Everybody with a love for vaporizers should own at least one Vapman.

Word.
Maybe is not the most powerful vapennor the most advanced one but it truly is something special.

I heat it a bit longer than usual then I drop it in my bubbler and start drawing. After ~5 seconds I start torching it again until I see an increase in vapor production. Keep drawing an repeat ad libitum.

To connect it to my bubbler I use a tapered midsection René made me or a 14mm glass adapter for whips.

Long time no post from your pal 204. I started using my Vapman again after I got over my new toy the Davinci IQ; I still find myself coming back to the Vapman. I much rather use my natural Yew Vm over my Mica vapman. Reasons being +I enjoy the toasted aroma of my heated wood +Cleaning is a lot easier as I dont have to worry about the finish or the Mica flaking off. +My natural feels more special as I got to speak directly with @vapman himself to pick me out a new one and even tested it for me as the wood I choose tends to crack.

Don't get me wrong I still use my Mica one but it has gone through some wear and tear as my roomates would combust in it while using it normally and through water. So the bowl is looking darker and a little bonzie. I was trying out different cleaning methods and getting the mica to flake a bit as a result. So my first Vapman that I got through https://vaporizers.ca/ as I'm Canadian and it was on clearance at the time went through my rough learning curve and still works fine but I find with my Yew it's been taken care of better and the bowl is still gold and I have a good experience with it.

As a veteran user I had found these methods to work.

As for cleaning the best method for me is using a small piece of magic eraser dipped in 99% ISO and I squeeze the excess.

For vapor bonging I use the MFLB water adapter with the hose cut short. my cycle goes like this
WARMUP: X2 : 5s torch heat up and inhale. Once the unit and herb is all warmed up I heat for another 5s then while im inhaling I heat for another 3-5s

For regular use I inhale after each heatup, making sure it's even throughout and so I can taste the herb as it gets to temp so 5s with the torch and inhale. With the first 2 hits it's just heating up and you wont see vapor if any at all and is more for the taste. I usually cover the hole for the first 2 hits then for the next 3 I use it uncovered. So in my regular session I go through 4 - 7 heatup cycles depending on the herb I use.

I also tend to use a MED grind as its less of a mess to pack on the go and find I'm not as reliant on the funnel. When I use the funnel it's usually when I'm at home and I use a fine grind.

What I really love about the Vapman and always has me coming back is how personal it feels and some people I know wish the bowl was a bit bigger but I LOVE the smaller bowl it's not too much and not too little I find it perfect when I want to quickly medicate. I love how efficient it is, being able to have a quick go and finish a bowl in under 2 mins is amazing to me. So when I dont need to be so stealthy I head for my vapman over my IQ, it uses less material than my IQ Also when I don't want to take a 300+ vape out of the house I reach for my vapman.

My current rotation: Davinci IQ - Vapman - VM + Station while on the computer
