Good question! It was on their website, right on the homepage in one of those fancy screens that you can change by clicking the little arrow. It's vanished!

It just showed a bit of a pic of one and the top part was all black so I assume anodized, and it said GR8TR v2 coming March 2018. Other than the colour, I could not perceive any other changes from at least the top part from what I was able to see.
I hope they do interrupted threads and offer the grinding plates separate. I love my GR8TR vape but I wish I had gotten the full size unit.

I'm about to order one of the NewVape grinders.. I can't decide which one to get. I like the look of the engraved ones better, but I'm wondering if they're difficult to use? They seem quite thin. Can anyone comment on it? @Shooby ?

I had the same problem bought both (engraved). They are well built and actually feel/are heavy AF worth the 50$ IMHO.

I have big issues with repetitive strain injury and tendonitis affecting my hands wrists and forearms. I have to be very mindful and conscious of I use my hands and wrists.

I have both of the grinder designs you are asking about. Personally I really struggled with the thinner fine grinder.
The armband version is no problem at all.:)

Thanks! I have trouble with my hands as well. Going with the wristband version!

Almost there...
I was thinking of getting an SLX and just taking out the screen portion, which is removable.

I love my KannoStor Vape GR8TR, it is perfect for my needs.
The New Vape fine grinder is an amazing grinder, i just find i mess a lot more herb on my desk when trying to empty it out after grinding. I still use it but mostly just admire the precision milling, anodizing and crazy sharp teeth!

Yeah Lazy the only thing I don't like about the NVFG is I find it really laborious to get all my herb out of the grinder. It seems to really coat and stick to the surface, I have to brush all over it.
Sure I could just leave all those trichs and resin to accumulate- what goes around comes around.... but I want the full goodness of the bud to go into my vape (whichever), and Im a bit OCD about wanting to get it all out.

I know exactly what you mean about keeping it off your desk as well. I could happily live with that if I didn't need to brush the remnants of my sticky weed out.

Hey, really not bashing the NVFG anyone, that really is the only thing Im not keen on, and surely not a big deal. Maybe seems more amplified because I am grinding smaller amounts more often mostly.

I still love the grinder, the armband in particular is so fun and easy to use, with zero hand/wrist troubles too.

I've been using a cheap 2-inch "Golden Bell" 4-part grinder that I purchased on amazon for $9 for over a year. I'm now ready to upgrade to something good.

In my googling reviews, and searching both here and on relevant subreddits, I narrowed my finalists down to the Lift Innovations grinder, the Kannastore GR8TR, and the SLX 2.0.

Originally, I was attracted to the Lift Innovations grinder, as their claims about the values of "chopping" vs "crushing" grinders sounded appealing to me. I've kept reading reviews since then and it seems that it hasn't held people's initial excitement, so maybe it's not so special (and it's the highest priced). Plus, I want a fine to medium grind, since I vaporize 95% of the time and the Lift Innovations seems to get better reviews for a chunky coarse grind, than for it's finer grinding capabilities, and I have a Magic Flight Finishing grinder if I need a really fine grind.

The Kannastore GR8TR has many great reviews, but it just looks big and complicated to me...with more threads to clean. Maybe if it had quick quarter-turn connections like the Lifted Innovations grinder.

The SLX is what I've settled on. It's not too expensive, and the ceramic coating making it easier to keep it clean and working is attractive. I also like that there is only one set of threads to unscrew and keep clean, as well as the screen being it's own separate liftable body piece with no threads seems attractive as well. It's also a more reasonable price as well. Still not cheap by any means though.

I'm just about ready to pull the trigger on the SLX. SO, I'm open to both praise of the SLX or other information that anyone wants to provide that might persuade me to change my mind and go with a different grinder. Any opinions anyone wants to offer that will effect my decision in my new grinder (as I don't plan on buying a new grinder anytime soon after this) are very appreciated.

how is the grind on the interplanetary super weapon grinder ?
its 16 bucks after coupon.
plus shipping to EU = 12 bucks

28$ = 23EUR

could afford that.

how is the grind compared to the S&B grinder ?

and please:
what is the difference between SW1 and SW2 from interplanetary?
only the removed teeths ?

has the SW1 the single turn opening mechanism from the SW2 ?

@Mr.Sifter I own both a GR8TER and a SW2.

The grind from the Kannastor is very fine, I love the deep grinding space but the fine plates will clog if you don't brush it and it needs an alcohol bathroom from time to time. The upper storage part is a cool feature but I almost never use it. I'm waiting for a coarser plate from @InterplanetaryTanner (many thanks man!) but I still have to get it.

The SW2 is bigger and gives a coarser grind but not really "chunky". I prefer it to the Kannastor for conduction vapes. I prefer the deep chamber on the GR8TER but the small area without teeth of the SW2 is a very clever way to make room for bigger nugs. The threading is very smooth (as it is on the GR8TER, they are both wery well machined) and way shorter than the Kannastor that takes what seems like half an hour to unscrew. The magnetic screen is another great feature and I like the rate at which it collects kief.

aaah thank you.

I think i will go with the weapon1.
its 20$ -20% forum discount = 16$ + 14$ EU shipping = 30$ = 24,5EUR.

thats half the price for a reduced gr8tr that I could buy here for around 48EUR.

I like my S&B grinders but I want the kief (dont now why, i like toys).

mmmh, during my writing I get second thoughts.

gr8tr vs SW1
