I've yet to try Durban Poison. It simply has not ever been available! It is on my top of the pops search.

That said, Jack Herer is a spectacular herb. Lots of yummy woody, piney tastes.

I would say that of the Sativas that I have had, my favourite was a batch of Girl Scout Cookies I got my grubby lil' mitts on back in 2014. It was the zippiest head trip, unleashing creativity and energy that I did not know I had. At the time I was doing some professional writing and I was tearing it up, some of the best work I ever did at that job.

I know that GSC has a Durban Poison parent. Good and sweet!

Have grown some DB from AfroPips - amazing stuff! Unfortunately AfroPips isn't active anymore. What are the best available DB seeds in your opinion?

I enjoy some sativa at night now. It’s weird. Doesn’t give me super bad anxiety like it use to. Enjoy it while watching tv. I’m vaping a pink lady strain at the moment. It’s a hybrid but they say 70% sativa 30% indica. I have never heard of this strain before sadly.

Thanks @Squiby , but that's just a wholesaler no seedbank. Do you mean their Dutch Passion seeds?

They may well offer wholesale, I don't know, but they are an online retailer. I buy my seeds from them every year. You can buy many seeds of just one.

Here is a link to their Durban Poison varieties.

And here are the sativa varieties.

They have frequent sales and offer free seeds with every sale. I have had very good results. I like the huge variety they offer.

Hiya @Hogni would you consider ordering from England? This is the largest one in the UK, and strangely it's not in London. I find their prices pretty good, lots of respected well-known breeders to choose from, free extras depending on what you pick. It's fun just window-shopping! Oh but I have to tell you: They only sell to cannabis seed collectors; you're aware of this popular hobby right? No cultivation allowed! :uhoh:

Hope you're doing okay man, and all is good in the new year! :peace:

PS. A good search engine as well, with lots of refinements to find what you're looking for.

Thanks guys, but sorry, this is misunderstanding. I'm not looking for a retailer I asked for the best version by which seedbank in your experiences. There are different ones, for example those by Dutch Passions which the retailer @Squiby remommended is saling.

In my experience Dutch Passion are very consistent, reliable and high performance/high yielding autoflowers.

They have a first class reputation with decades of experience. They are constantly improving their strains and are suitably named- they have a real passion for what they do and do it well.
I can recommend.

Check out their website they give lots of excellent info, with great grow reviews too on every strain.

DP does have some good genetics like their mazar, but I think their durban poison is a fairly new acquisiton? Ive been told to look at tga Vortex, apparently it's a top tier sativa. I'm pretty partial to tga/subcool having sampled a lot of the strains from my caregiver. Most of them are high resin producers taboot.

Wow!!! I haven’t heard the name Mazar in years. I grew that strain once. Was very potent. I grew it for over 2 years in my student housing away at university. The best strain by far. I haven’t seen it in years sadly.

I love a certain producer of Gorilla Glue #4 by Sunshine Farms a Sativa Hybrid. It knocks me out like a heavy Indica. I save it for evening. Too hard core for daytime. It usually hovers around 26 - 27% THC. Other producers don’t get it as right on like Sunshine Farms.

What is a good sativa that does not cause more anxiety. I usually go for the indica hybrids with cbd mix. I have heard blue dream, Jack herer are good ones that feel like indicas. Any other suggestions?

Jillybean, Nurse Jackie and Chernobyl are sativas or sat-dom hybrids that I really like and seem to play well with anxiety, cbd mango haze is another really good one but it is generally low in THC.

how about green crack? anybody have experience with that strain.
Green Crack is Energetic, Creative and Euphoric when vaped at high temperatures. It's a "busy" sativa meaning that you want to do stuff and move around. It's a very clear headed high that is perfect for daytime use and activities. It has never given me anxiety when I've used it in the past.

Tried Durban Poison flower. The smell was a bit... different from anything else I've had. Like lemon peel or something. Looked fine to me, though different.. maybe harvested late. Small nugs, orangey and light green. amber-ish trichomes?
It made me tired with a really hazy head feeling. Had slight munchies, may need a really high temp to vape the THCV?
Tried Green Crack, it was more energetic but still hazy and spacey. I wouldn't call the effect clear headed, with low or high temps. Maybe it makes me more tired because I quit SSRIs?

edit: had somewhat high tolerance. still got a bit uplifted and stuff, then a bit hazy out of 1 bowl with the M.. it wasn't that twitchy high af melting-you-into-the-couch/bed feeling I've gotten out of doing too much of the more indica stuff, just tired and hazy.
maybe it just affects me differently.

Both Durban Poison and Green Crack are heavy hitters. At least the ones I have. You may be consuming too much. Try a microdose. I microdose these strains for a clear headed, focused high. A usual dose for me is about .015 gm. If you toke too much it can paste your face to the floor. But a tiny bit can motivate you for hours.

Man I love good Jack Herer. It isn't the most intense high I've felt but it always puts me into a great chilly mood which I really love.

Too bad the coffeeshop here in Groningen which sold my favourite Jack Herer has been closed for criminal reasons. Well, I'm was always told its Jack Herer, it might actually not even be Jack Herer, but whenever I get Jack Herer from other places they seem to do its job really good aswell.

I really like sativa. Every now and then I prefer indica, but its mostly sativa for me. I really like Haze strains. Amnesia Haze always does its job for me. (Super) Silver Haze & (Super) Lemon Haze certainly are in my favourites aswell.

They also sell 'Green White' at different places over here, which also is sativa I think. I really like that one! Can't really seem to find it on leafly or any other strain site though, not even the Dutch ones. It might just be a name for a strain of which they don't really know the name, since weed from coffeeshops here has to be bought from streetdealers and the colors of our soccer team (FC Groningen) are green and white.

I have yet to find this strain in any other city in the Netherlands so I think that's the case which is a bummer since I really enjoy it.
Jack Herrer is my fav as well with mother's finest coming in second. Love sativas
