Discontinued Vapir Rise Vaporizer

I normally drop right into the oil canister. No issues. A little messy for clean up. But my rise hadn't been cleaned in over 4 months and was pretty gross. It got a full clean over the holidays and is yet to be used.

I do not normally put a lot of herbs into the canister, just enough to thinly cover the screen. So the other night I tried a trick I used for microdosing with Crafty - I placed liquid pad on top of the herb to prevent it from flying around the chamber and keep it pressed against the screen .
I think it worked out really well - much denser clouds, faster, more efficient extraction. Just wanted to share

@Zheka that is a great idea and thanks for that tip. I never thought of that. But yeah it would probably work very well like it does on the crafty and so forth.

What liquid pad did you put in it? One that came with a Crafty or Mighty?

Also like to add possibly put a screen in there as well to sand which it down if you do not have liquid pads.

I haven't used mine in a while. I save it for gatherings of more than 2-3 people and brew some serious bags haha.

I purchased a 2.0 maybe 2 years ago. Never got the oil pads with it. They gave me a full oil can instead of the pads. Kind of wish I got the pads.

I came up with my own rig and modified the bowl assembly.

The screen is the same diameter used in most SSV's. Screen pops in nice and tight. The top assembly locks it in place perfectly. It also allows for a finer grind.

Well it's been maybe almost 9 months since I used my Rise. I been using the Haze V3. With the long weekend soon to be upon us all, I decided to bust out my extremely clean Rise 2.0 with some nice grape Ape that's nice and purple and some bags in front of my chiminea.

Who is brining theirs out this weekend?

Does anyone know for sure if the parts like herb chamber, plunger, are interchangeable between version 1 and version 2? What improvements do you see between the original and the 2.0 version as far as the herb chamber changes and plunger changes? thanks!

The only real change was the hook up for the balloons.

V1 was more like a volcano.

V2 the whip goes directly into the bag.

It should. I've never officially tested it. But there is no noticeable difference.

Glad to see someone still interested in this vape. I haven't used mine in over 4-6 months.

I love my Vapir Rise 2.0 but it's falling apart on me, the herb chamber screen came off and the plunger screen just broke off the plunger! The 2.0 part has been out of stock tho on the Vapir site for awhile now but the version 1 looks better to me, as you're able to change out the parts easily, so I'll go for that. Thanks!

Yes my screen broke too at the bottom of the herb chamber. Not a huge deal though. Still works great.

I love my VapirRise 2.0 its a real beast, so many ways to vape from it. My dry herb chamber broke so i emailed Vapir and they're sending a replacement out here to the UK priority shipping. Fantastic Customer Service and exactly what I expect. Highly recommend the unit and their CS.

I’ll be honest. This vape I’ve noticed is not that popular amongst the community. Or well the thread isn’t. I haven’t used mine in about a year now. I like to save it for the summer or when people come over. Rock s nice big bag outside in the backyard. Now that I truly think about it, I haven’t used it because no one has come over in about a year haha.

I just used mine yesterday for the first time as part of my bag blower face off. Gonna play with bags for a couple of weeks to form some opinions...

Broke out my V2 for the first time in a long time. Hooked it to some bags and then connected the bags through the whip to a water piece D20D using a glass adapter.

I have been using my Haze V3 pretty much exclusively through same bong.

2 things I noticed that are pretty significant. The abv from the Rise is much lighter and consistent throughout. The abv from the portable is darker and much less even.

And the effect is quite a bit stronger. No idea why I have waited so long to use it this way (or any way for that matter).

@George1151 funny you mention that. I too have a haze v3 and rise. I can say the exact same thing about the abv. I need to find an area where I can kee my Rise constantly hooked up.

Another thing to consider when using the rise with whips and bags is that everything smells a lot more than with the Haze. Not referring to while in use but when not in use. I do not want my house to stink of weed. I ziplocked and bagged whatever I could which means unbgaging etc each time to use plus the extension cord I need. Its definitely a production using the desktop which is the main reason I stopped using it.

The quality of the vapour and the efficiency combined with the stronger effect compared to the Haze tells me the hassle is worth it.

I pack up everything when not in use so compared to the Haze it's more work to use but definitely worth it.
