is the kit i am using its small enough that you cant see it when holding it in my palm
I read in some other threads that there were some downsides to it, like dry hits/spitting and clogging. I was just wondering if you have seen any yet? Does it give big clouds like most vapes? and have you had times where it dry hits?
No, What i did was after filling the tank took a blow dryer to it till the substance turned liquid did a few pulls with airflow closed than my first day i kept the voltage low no higher than 20
the next day i crank it up to 30+ progressivly getting higher and i have not had any dry hitting or spitting
I did manage to clog my middle because i got the coil overly saturated by keeping the voltage so low for as many sessions as i did my suggestion would be to crank the wattage up alot sooner than i did
other than that no complaints here at all

with the adjustments to wattage per second held i keep the first .5 at around 15 so i can know if its gonna dry hit or not.. it than signifacntly ramps up to 40+ watts by 2.5 seconds.. I really dont think dry hits are an issue with this coil/tank

So you'd suggest filling it up and making it liquid with a hair dryer and pull too fill the coil up with the airflow closed, than once its not so liquid keep the voltage no higher than 20 for 2-3 sessions than crank it up too 30 too avoid the oils not getting hot enough to vape and only hot enough to melt and clog the coil? Sorry for all the questions! Thanks

Yep thats pretty much what my suggestion would be! of course dont follow me word for word do some of your own testing for your preferences/material and report back its half the fun! xD

Will do! Im gonna try the trinity xl first since i have it once i get some distillate than the veco after that. Ill report back on both!
after opening a pack of ceramic coils i think my problem with pooling distalate in the middle would of been avoided with the ceramic coils.
gonna see how swapping out my coil while the tank is full works out

Let me know how it goes, and if you filled it the same with the hair dryer, ect
So I couldn't help myself
Pulled the coil that was in it out quite easy with my dental/dab tool

Popped in the ceramic coil, took my handy blow dryer to it for a little till it was liquidy enough to move from side to side of the tank took a long draw with air closed no power
Started at 9 volts and took small draw and continued to up in increments of one
The non ceramic coil was giving much bigger hits but also harsher
The ceramic is smoother and tastier but not quite as instantly potent
So far but I'm so medicated today I wouldn't take my word on it lol

Hi @420democrat , how do you compare it to the Trinity Tank? I'm on the fence to order one Veco Plus with replacement ceramic coils but I'm afraid it will not work with my wax+terp mix....

@PPN If you happen to try the Veco with Wax/Terps would you be willing to report back?

Distillate is stupid expensive around me so it's not really worth it. I just buy prefills for on the go as it is more cost effective than buying the distillat and a cart (which seems backwards to me).

Everyone ive let try my veco has wanted one lol, its literally my go to now my enail hasnt been touched in days....

@420democrat It is crazy to hear about the Veco being preferable to an enail! Instant THC with nice big clouds is the dream. It's like living in the future!

So is this your primary route of administration? I'd like to get into this, but hippies got me worried about added terpenes making me grow an extra limb, so I try to only use distillate/terp carts as a "supplement".

Do you worry about the health aspects of added terps, or is that an overblown fear?

My friend has the same fears and I sometimes questions it but I'm literally adding 1-2 drops per gram whatever negative effects can't be much worst than back when we combusted blunts/papers daily
Yes the ecig became my primary form of medicating ever since my first Colorado trip and trying prefilleds
It's just so easy, discreet, fast, potent
I don't use portable vapes anymore and my evo sees use maybe once or twice a month now
My email stays on and sees use almost daily only because I like sitting at my desk and dabbing

But the ecig is superior to all other forms of medicating I've found
It's instant, huge taste delicious clouds
Smell is gone quickly and it isn't even second looked in public settings

Only con I've found is it is ridiculous easy to over medicated espically when you make a good mix and enjoy the flavor/vapor

If terpene safety is of question I'd opt for blue river
I only have one container of them and have been using denver terps/terp nations for a while and haven't felt any negative health effects

Everyone I let try it has their mind blown it's so much more satisfying than the little carts but with bigger hits= more medicated literally 2 3-4 sec draws on my vapresso and I'm toasted for a few hours

In my neck of the woods on the black market im getting some ok distillate for 40/gram no terpenes problem is in the container it comes in each gram you extract maybe .8 if you're lucky
So it costs me a little more than 80$ to fill a veco
With that said i recently found a pound worth for what i consider a fair price i may half with a friend
its just so hard to go back to anything besides this for daily/primary consumption
that said i imagine co2 oil would be an awesome alternative but i have 0 connects to try and get my hands on some
I want to try shatter/wax with terpenes in a cart like this but i fear without preheating it will be short lived, But i could be wrong and wont know until i try
But yea for discretion and ease of use this is the future. I can literally be in a setting full of ppl and pull it out take two drags and walk away and not a single person will know i just got two mega nail like rips at twice the smoothness lol

Cool. Yeah I'm not super worried about terpenes. I imagine they are healthier than I lot of shit I consume!

Yeah I probably should be working on tracking down lower priced distillate. I can find CO2 for $45 or so per gram. The thing is, I can get top shelf shatter for $25 a gram.

The only reason I thought I could get away with using it in a Veco type cart is W-9 says you can use their Trinities with Rosin+terps. The Shatter I get is WAY 'cleaner' than Rosin in terms of fats/waxes and plant material.

So I generally stick to a rig or wax-pen at home using that more affordable shatter. But I would LOVE to just pick up a Veco and press a button.

You can try it, Somebody here before suggested decarbing which that+ terpenes makes it nice and runny how youd want it the problem i had previously with my shatter+terps was it would get too much like peanutbutter/solid side of things without heat, even in my trinity it worked better pre heating somehow, Usualy sitting cart over nail or hitting with a torch for a slight moment prior to hitting worked alot better if not the cart struggled... Ive been trying to find something to use with terpenes in low amounts to help dillute but in my case distilate is only about 10$ more a gram than shatter so it hasn't really been worth it for me to go back to playing with shatter

At one point i tried very little unflavored shatter batter+terpens but it seems stuff like shatter batter doesnt work if there isnt enough of the liquid to suspend the thc

I got myself some distillate a few days ago and figured my dusty, huge, cotton wicking tank is probably not the best fit. A couple hours of research later I end up here and I'm much wiser, but still confused about one thing.

I feel like the Veco is my best option, but I can't figure out if EUC coils are the exact same thing as ccell or not? If not, and the ccell offer some kind of advantage? If I can stick with the EUC that comes in the box for the veco and save some dough I'm all for it.

What comes in the box for veco is the non ceramic coils
Which function
But the ceramic is preferable after a day and a half or so with a ceramic replacement and I can say it's noteably better if you look at the coil it's cotton->ceramic-> coil wire

I purchased several veco tanks and i always got a EUC Clapton pre installed and one EUC Ceramic as backup. The Ceramic coil is what you want for distillate/ shatter-terp-mix.
The Vaporesso EUC coils are a cheaper and smaller alternative to the original Vaporesso Ccell coils ( for ex. Guardian tank)
I'm happy with my vecos.

Oh both tarot kits I've opened come with the universal non ceramic coil I guess the tanks come with ceramic? Good to know
Are you who first suggested the veco? Because if so you are the man!!!!

@Nine9bar mentioned the veco in his first post. Then @Steven and @Vape Donkey 650 started testing and recommending.

Hi everyone, First every post on FC, I've been reading the whole thread and u guys rock!!!
Just wished I'd found it sooner!!!(a lot of time and money wasted)
Anyway I've been looking at these Vaperesso Veco Tanks and thought they might be great, There have a top airflow, leak free design but also u can load new coils without emptying the tank!!! + they do ceramic TC Coils.... U guys may already know about them but i thought they would be worth a go, I've got one on the way so will update with results, there are a few tanks with the same spec from vapresso,

here is everything you want to know about the veco and the EUC Ccell

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/a...ils-builds-recipes.20529/page-16#post-1140142

This is off vaporesso:
Instead of changing the complete coil typically with metal sleeves as it used to be, with EUC, you only need to change the minimal part that is with heating elements while maintaining the metal sleeve at a reasonable cost and avoid any waste.
Euc stands for eco universal coil. Euc is a more economical design for coil sleeves. The veco still actually uses a ccell coil but in the Ecu design. If you go to vaporesso website and look at specifications of the veco tank, you will see
"The advantages of a CCELL ceramic or a COTTON choice"
http://www.vaporesso.com/euc-vape-coils

I'm not trying to argue technicalities, but just trying to clear things up. I've mentioned before that ccell coils are basically vaporesso's signature coil which uses a ceramic wick instead of a cotton wick. Basically all of vaporesso's relatively new tanks use either a ccell coil (ceramic wicked coil) or a traditional cotton coil. If a coil is using a ceramic wick, that's a ccell coil. Maybe the sleeve maybe different, but the heating element and wick is essentially the same. We all know we want ceramic wicks right. Who really cares about all these acronyms, but let's just be clear speaking about it going forward

I must be argumentative. This happens to me from time to time in different threads. Thanx for directing me towards the veco tank

What settings are everyone running with the ceramic coils? I didn't set up temp control cuz I'm slow lol I've been playing with voltage and voltage per button held but I've yet again managed to flood another coil and this one is for sure ceramic, it's not exactly a huge problem it still cooks minus the occasional spitback and obviously the waste what is causing me to have the coil get filled with material?

If you have the 0.6 ohm ceramic coil that comes with the veco it recommends 40-55w. I’ll try out the TC once I get mine and report back.

I’m probably going to get an extra pack of coils in case this happens to me too, but I’m not sure what the best option is for resistance? Vaporesso offers 0.3, 0.5, and 0.6 ohm ceramic coils. I’m guessing anything lower than the 0.6 will be wasteful, but I’m not sure if the lower resistances offer any advantage for distillates. Has anyone tried anything other than the 0.6 ohm coil?

I'm using the .5 ceramics I'm nowhere near that high wattage I've been like mid 20s tops... maybe that's why I'm flooding them?

The entire inside of my ceramic coil is globbed with distillate
For dissalate the best carts I've found so far are on eBay no need to cut the dissalate at all I have put it in pure but have since ventured into using terpenes to dilute it some and add flavor
For some reason when I tried ejmix/shatter batter my dissalate would never mix well and separate

It's a real treat in carts uncut it's like carrying my enail with me
I'm not sure how to link but they are the amigo liberty v9 even advertised as dissalate carts I've run 2.5 grams so far through current carts and still going good

If you do wanna do ejuice with thc I'd 100% recommend a baby beast but dissalate I wouldn't cut down more than a tad of terpenes it's wasted in ejuice when it does so good undiluted

I wasted 10+ grams of dissalate between trying to find carts to use it and making ejuice now I just mix some terpenes fill a amigo cart and have 1+ week of getting blitzed off my butt without anyone having a clue
This sounds like me with the wasting of distillate and trying to find cartridges! I don't want to waste any more oil! Have you found that certain brands of distillate are more prone to leaking than others? Currently I am trying to get a certain brand of distillate into a non leaking cart but I've only tried one brand called Crystal Clear by NWCS. This distillate comes in a variety of flavors which I like. This oil is the best that I've ever come across except that I can't yet find a proper cart for it. NWCS Crystal Clear also sells pre filled carts, and they ALSO LEAK. I've tried about 4 of their prefilled carts- all of them had the same issue- clogs, then leaks.

I am at a loss- thought maybe I needed a hotter battery but that's not it. So now I've tried 3 different cars which all leak (including a CCell which leaked the worst). Is it just the carts that I need to keep experimenting with? Amigo Liberty V9 is next on my list to try, per your recommendation and also Grampa Herb's. Any other feedback/ info with your experimenting would be appreciated.

I'm starting to think small leaking is something that needs to be lived with
I'm having luck with cheap ceramic cbd carts at the moment for when stealth is needed but..... but... floridas medical marijuana distillate carts come in this device that looks 110% like a candy pen device I found online with a small 1ml ceramic wickless cartridge they hit wonderfully and have good reviews I think it will be better than any little carts we've tried
The one my buddy let me hit tasted and hit wonderfully and I couldn't see a way it would leak and do to the design I see less waste than any other cart I've tried
With that said I've put in a wholesale order for the empty devices and some of their empty pods to see how it fairs but I'm 100% confident it's he same thing rebadged that the dispensaries here are selling

My daily driver of choice is the vaperesso veco hits are unreal both in strength and flavor only 2ml fill and no room to leak as it's top airflow

Oh really... very interesting. So the small leaks are maybe something I would have to deal with ...my thought would be if that’s the case would be to only fill up like .1 or .2 at a time then keep cleaning it.. so not as convenient as the prefilled carts that actually work.. ok also I’d be very curious to know how the Florida medical distillate cartridges work for you.. :) thanks for the feedback!
