Hey Alexis... sometimes its kind of funny how different issues present themselves in life.. you know, just yesterday I left a post here about that kitchen torch I bought from Amazon.. I really had no experience with it yet.. but, upon waking this morning I received an email informing me that my Elev8r was being delivered today. First off, I've had 11 heart surgery's as well as numerous other health issues. Worse than the heart problems is a bad case of diabetes that is so painful that a person just doesn't want to stand up as the bottom of your feet are so messed up that it becomes pure agony to do so..(just an explanation of why I was still in bed). So.. as I'm laying here in bed this morning, sipping a fresh cup of jo, I start fiddling with my new torch. I haven't used the thing other than to fill it and test ignite a couple of times.. so imagine my surprise when I'm fiddling about with it and I notice its almost empty of butane. I grab the new butane canister and start filling the darn thing and " woosh" ! I'm on fire.. Not real bad, just a small explosion of sorts.. I've actually had a few really serious encounters with fire and this little flare up was not bad. I'm a pretty hairy guy and the net result was a whole lot of singed hair on my arms and chest. No skin damage.. My point.. be super careful with your new torch. Mine is getting returned to Amazon and I'm heading to the hardware store for a more reliable torch option. Probably a Bernzomatic type used for plumbing.. I'm still not sure how it happened but this little incident demonstrates one of the main concerns I've always had with this sort of vape. The weak point isn't in the vaporizer but in the torch. Let alone the functional aspect, you also look suspicious as hell to any police or other law enforcement glancing at your stuff and seeing the torch.. As most credible meth users will attest.. a glass pipe and torch is the best delivery option.. A torch, in the house or your car can raise immediate suspicions to law enforcement.. things shouldn't be this way but alas, they are. It sure seems that the higher we rise up as a culture the more we bow down as a people.. Oh well.. I'll be getting back to you to let you know what a first time Elev8r user thinks of his new toy.. Be careful with those cheap torch's.. Tortoise

oh shit! I remember the time i caught on fire: doing a bho run over low heat on a gas stove  (not the brightest moment of my life)...shit climbed up my arm and got a bit of my mustache...no real burns though.

i wonder what happened with the torch?!?!?
my guess is that you had the gas on and didnt realize it and when yiu filled and ignited the torch it caught everything on fire?

or did the ignition happen WHILE you were filling the torch?

unfortunatley expensive and inexpensive torches are susceptible to having a dud every once in a while.

Thanks a lot for sharing that man, really thoughtful of you. Im sure glad you didn't get hurt!
Be careful though for sure I certainly will be. I hope you have fun testing today.

By the way, are you familiar with the whole "tagging" process? If you want to mention a member or ask somebody a question without durectly replying to a post, you want ideally to "tag" or "mention" them by putting the @ symbol before their username.

For example, @Alexis go get a life you dummy!:argh::lol:

OR; @thedeserttortoise be careful wifh those matches man!;)

As long as you enter the exact username with the @ at thevstart of their name, no spaces, the username will be highlighted and the member will get an alert.

Otherwise it is just down to chance whether or not they see the post.

@ohmygodimsohigh you're videos are the fucking BEST bro! You absolutely kill me! Thanks for making it... but yeah that leakage through the pad is a deal breaker for me. I can see even small amounts leaking around to the edge and falling down the side. Still seeking a better convection dab experience than the supreme v3, e-nano, or apparently the FF2.

Thank you!! The pad leakage is a bummer. A few have suggested adding rayon or hemp fiber around the little pad to help - but I'm kinda ok with it as is. I just try to avoid giant dabs.

It's the best convection dab I have available right now. 2nd place would be the Ghost MV1 and FF2

Damn that's a thick ass banger, I heat my quartz banger for 20 seconds and I don't even have a kitchen torch, just a triple jet I used for my Vapcap.

If you drop the PID another 100 degrees do you still prefer the ELEV8R flavor? The SiC dish should be about 10x more conductive than the Showerhead and about 100x more conductive than the quartz banger.

Yeah it's nuts how thick it is. I can actually get 2 dabs off of a single heating with that banger.

With tastier concentrates, the SIC is definitely closer to the flavor impact of the ELEV8R when its set to 590ish. I should have pointed that out, but I was high. I broke my sic dish while editing this video. I'm saving that terp sugar for sic replacement dish.

I used the higher temp in an effort to make all 3 dab temps as similar as possible. Plus the ELEV8R really bleeds at lower temps =D

@WakeAndVape , @Alexis , That @ thing works... cool.. been a member almost 10 years and can't even use the site right... no wonder! First off... that torch going up on me.. user error I'm pretty sure. Just nothing truly stands out. I think what happened is a little residual blue flame was still living up at the nozzle.. gas valve was off but hell.. I'm really not sure what happened. So get this... that should have been an omen for me today. I went down to the hardware store for a new torch and I bought another butane model.. a Bernzomatic for a million dollars ($39.99) alright.. and looking at it I can tell its probably not a bunch safer than the one I have... It does feel better built though.. So omen, yes, that's right. When I torched myself I should have just gone back to bed.. so.. I get home from the hardware store and sitting there on my porch was a box from 7th floor... New torch, new vape.. I'm jazzed. That is until I open said box and dropped my new vape off the bed... a disheartening sound echos through the room as the wand crash's up against the steel bed rail... jeez.. 1 lousy tenth of an inch more and I'd be smoking my new Elev8r.. Those guys at 7th Floor are great though... I should be ready to fly the day after tomorrow, New wand on the way.. Check it out Alexis.. your like a whole ocean away and the way things are going here you'll be puffin on yours before me... today's just a really funky day.. I was going to work on my brakes today too.. but oh no.. I'm not even brushing my teeth today.. The way things are going I just don't think its safe... Another quick comment and I'll leave you guys alone. I really like the fact that the 7th Floor includes the water pipe adapter in their kit.. I mean.. really stoner idea there. What real stoner doesn't have a genuine bong laying about.. so I am using the adapter as I type and wow, great flavor, great taste... cheers folks and all the best.. Tortoise

Well isn't so bad then at least you can still use it, and my main interest is in the water adapter anyway to be honest with you. For you though it coulda been a lot worse outcome from today's calamitous endeavours.
Like, :rip:!

I just got my shipping notice actually. A good week minium depending oh HMRC.:nope:

I just got a new bubbler- the FC-UFO. So far I really like it. Low drag and a good sized can, you can easily watch the vapor build and clear, unlike the D020-D and FC-186, where you kind of miss the spectacle.
Im looking forward to trying the Elev8r with the UFO.

Cool.. another week and you'll be smokin.... I paid extra for fast 2 day shipping and FedEx just sent a notice that i'll have my new wand Monday by 5 or 6 pm.. I'm actually more interested in the wand as I'm forever knocking over my bongs and spilling bong water all over... Jeez.. I just turned 61 last month and it seems like my coordination is going all to hell.. Probably one of those disgusting nerve degeneration decease's.. It would be just my luck to end up dying from the inside out.. 11 heart procedures and end up not even able to wipe my butt.. Life on the inside looking out.. Thank god for herb.. The wand also lends itself to some awesome portability.. I love taking my maniac hounds out in the desert to run and frolic... great time to lean up against a rock for a toke and a rest... I see some of the prettyist landscapes out there.. My dogs love it. Unlimited mileage and lots of lizards to chase. Well.. sounds like your making good progress.. Well done.. There's still a comparison waiting in the wings.. Here's to a speedy week and short wait.. All the best.. Tortoise

We do ship internationally, and sometimes that can be expensive. We would love it if you would go to your favorite store and tell them that you want this product!

@VapoShop is an FC sponsor, I guess they could be interested in distributing the Elev8r over here.

I dunno, your shipping seems about double what it should be.

Honestly 35 USD to ship to the EU is crazy, I've had stuff sent over here with tracked and signed packages for way less. The last thing I got from the US has been a Slug.33 that's probably 10x the Elev8r's weight and it arrived here in 7 days for less money.

Confession time.... This thing rocks.. just using the adapter as I broke my wand while unwrapping.. Almost broke the adapter while getting the "sic" locking ring thingy off it last night.. But all is well.. I've just gotta quit fucking with things.. The hit is very tasty and mild when used with a little 8 inch high bedside bong.. Initial heat up on the Elev8 heater tube/chamber is running me about 1 1/2 minutes with just seconds to top off every few minutes... There is something almost zen like with the whole prep and heat up.. And I just love the flavor. This could very easily become my main vape I like it so much.. Cheers, Tortoise..

@7thFloorVapes as promised!!

Greetings all..i work in the Denver area and live in the Atlanta metro area. I saw a few posts about this vape and my VAS kicked in bigtime. I called the shop and spoke with Jason in sales and we arranged for me to drive to colorado springs and pick one up. I have been to their old shop many years ago when the lifesaber first came out...i picked up one of those back then. i arrived at their location and Alex walked me to Jason. Jason gave me a brief tour of the new space and i was very impressed.

I bought the vape thursday and i am just now testing it today. after my first session i am thoroughly blown away. this thing hits like my supreme3 and is way more tastier. I got LIT off one bowl, it kind of reminds me of smoking a blount cause you can get several rips off one heating session. The best comparrison i can give it is its like the vapcap on steriods. I love this thing. I am using a double flame brulee torch works perfectly. I ownly have one complaint about this vape and this...lmaof.....Jason from 7th floor can chime in on this. That portable battery vape they have comes in a sweet ass bag with all kind of acessories and shit. so i was thinking maybe @7thFloorVapes could come up with some type of bag kit for this thing that includes an extra heater, couple flavor disks, screens, a torch, and some test tube tongs. call it a deluxe kit.

Holla at your boy when you design this kit. Like i told yall at the shop..."i got bills and habits" i really need yall to put this bag together to help me support my habits.

Also got a chance to talk to Steve again as well met him on my first trip at yalls old shop. Love the vibe at the new shop and i wish you guys the best of luck in all your endeavors but i really need yall to but that deluxe kit together for me...lololololol

have a good day!!

Mike's Vaporizer Review
I dunno, your shipping seems about double what it should be. To Canada, i'm at approximately $40usd. I just bought a Mighty from Puffitup and shipping was only $24 for perspective for something much bigger/heavier. I do want to buy your device, but sorry the absurd shipping cost is holding me back. Any Canadian retailers going to stock the elev8r?

I'm off to ship a vape over the border (recent classifieds sale)....and it will be about $15, and trust me we get hosed on shipping way more than in the U.S.!

Sachin from The Herb Cafe I belive is looking into getting this in his shop and website,

good to see ya mike!

Thanks Man , Now i need to get on here more often........so many sub forums on here i never know what one to open and check out.

I gotta say.. I wasn't into water sports at all.. I always said, "If the weed needs water, its not done growing.. leave it be". I don't know if its just the process of reaching over and grabbing my bong for a hit that snacks of familiarity or the consistent flavor and coolness imparted by the water.. but,,,,,,,, water it will be.. and probably remain so when not portable.. New wand tomorrow and I'm really hoping that it retains some of the smoothness I'm getting now.. If so I'll order another complete kit for my fanny pack and excursions to distant galaxy's like my girlfriends house..... cheers, Tortoise

Hey guys- guess what? My Eelv8r just turned up, direct to my UK home via Fedex! No 3rd party pilferers in between!;)

Super fast shipping, about 4 days I think, even with stormy USA. Tracking all the way. Excellent service thanks very much @7thFloorVapes , my first ever order with you but I have heard so much good stuff about you guys for years, and never anything bad.

Haven't opened it yet- my mum took it in. I got my brulee torch. Not so keen on the locking clip to pull back to turn the gas on. A fiddly little thing for thumb.

Now, I may not even be able to use the Elev8r, I do have serious intolerance issues with many vaporizers, especially the heavy hitters.

It sure didn't cost me a bomb though, and it was never intended as a daily driver, more a bit of fun with hopes of an excellent new vape that can slot nicely in there.

The biggest thing here though for me, will be actually using it physically. I have masssive probelms with repetitive strain injury and tendoniitis. I have to be so mindful of how I use my hands and arms with everything do.
The vapcaps are an issue for me, the twirling messes my hands and wrists up. I try to cut corners with it. Im hoping I can find ways to use the Elev8r without too much stress. I plan to use it mainly at home through water, so will try heating it on my new FC-UFO, which should just allow for flame rotation.

Final word- I honestly forgot I even had this vape coming, like 50 times at least since I ordered it after Christmas! It just kept slipping my mind totally- kept remembering "OH YEAH- the Elev8r is coming!"

Only to immediately forget again, over and over!:o

@Alexis ... Way to go... i've been using the water adapter on a cheap silicon bong I had and I really like it. Mine takes about 30 seconds more to heat up but once its hot I get two deep draws and about 1 1/2 small draws between heat renewal.. I bought that smaller torch which I really like.. I'll try to post a picture tonight or tomorrow showing the set up.. I don't actually time the heat up anymore.. I just point that little torch right into the nooks and cranny's and take a hit when I notice the Elev8r heater unit just beginning to glow off the tips of the glass spikes. I think you'll find torching it isn't as critical as it might seem. You can do just about any method you want and not worry about spinning it rapidly about to spread the heat.. it spreads pretty much on its own without that extra effort.. Well, i'll get my wand for it today too.. can't wait to try it out.. Just loading my Haze up for a small shopping run around town. I'll get back to everyone this evening by which time I will have tested the wand too.. A great day to you all.. Tortoise

Thanks man I really appreciate your solid positivity here! Where have you been? I know, I know, coping with life, surviving. Sorry about all your heart troubles, and especially well done to you for pulling through and making such a good show of living life happily and spreading joy still.

I do know actually, that vaporizing cannabis in particular, can be very beneficial to heart health. More so than edibles. July 2016 I had a nasty viral heart infection which caused some serious and very scary heart symptoms. I was honestly afraid for my life or heart damage.

I was on a vapor break at the time, and I had to stop edibles because they were exacerbating the heart symptoms majorly.

I was feeling very unwell, and forlorn. But then I re-commenced vaping again , and my heart symptoms and function immediately settled down and normalised. The infection was still present, but the vapor instantly supported the heart, suppressed the infevtion and kept me safe. I finally cleared the infection a few months later. No damage was done thankfully, and my heart has remained in excellent condition since.

In fact, my heart health is probably my strongest health aspect/attribute. Honestly, resting pulse 45-55 always.
And get this- I eat 10 grams of pink himalayan salt every day- I weigh it. We need AT LEAST 8 grams of salt daily, everythinf we are told by media/doctors about salt intake is BULLCRAP!

It is NOT the amount of salt that causes health issues, it is the TYPE- most people have no comprehension of the fact that the refined table salt they put in their bodies is nothing but pure poison, and is entirely responsible for salts bad name in the Press.

Seriously avoid it as much as you can and get plenty of natural unrefined salt into your body.
I'm also on a very high fat diet and have been for over a decade. Like well over 100 grams of fat daily minimum, a lot more usually. But again it is the type of fat that is crucial here. Avoid man-made refined fat such as vegetable oil and margarine or any refined oil except for example virgin olive oil which is only partially refined and not denatured and restructured into plastic poison.

Man-made fats are a recipe for sickness and especially heart disease. It is a travesty that they exist and are one of the greatest weapons against humanity when it comes to diet and health and sickness.

So my diet is mega high in natural salt and fat. I had some tests done a short while ago:
Heart health immaculate, blood pressure perfect, my "good" cholesterol is much better than normal, and my "bad" chloesterol also much better than normal.

Thanks a lot for your assurances on heating technique for the Elev8r. I had a spin with the wand as I washed the glass. Actually the wand is incredibly easy to hold and rotate with one hand without seeming to cause any repetitive strain. MUCH MUCH easier than twirling a vapcap any day!

The water pipe adaptor is much more difficult to rotate with one hand but I'm sure it could be done two handed with a hands-free flame and of course I will try it on the bubbler itself.

Looking forward to giving this a go later. Thanks again bro, and nice to have you here on the forum as a new vape buddy, after a long absence. All the best to you fella.

Purchased one of these (think it’s a must owning a supreme) and got extra heating element and concentrate disk.

The main reason I wanted to post this is how refreshing it is to see someone in so much pain and hardship with such a positive attitude. @Alexis, you are a really special person and would be privileged to call u a friend. It’s refreshing to see this in a time where the internet is used maliciously.

The main reason I wanted to post this is how refreshing it is to see someone in so much pain and hardship with such a positive attitude. @Alexis, you are a really special person and would be privileged to call u a friend. It’s refreshing to see this in a time where the internet is used maliciously.
Thank you friend for such kind words, I appreciate it, it does wonders for one's self esteem to be so well received.

I have battled so hard for 13 years since developing Lyme disease. Thee are many people in far worse conditions and situations than my own. I am still surprisingly healthy in my body, just all sorts of abnormal functioning and bizarre symptoms to cope with each day.

My own situation has been particularly "trying" despite being not as "serious" as other many conditions, where ironically people can actually have an easier time in a way.

It is so nice to feel warmth and support from caring individuals like yourself. It only takes a small bad thing to happen or be said to get us down, but amazingly just a few small words of encouragement and support can greatly outweigh an avalanche of hurt and get you going on your skis again.
This is the power we have to help each other, if we could only make it a norm to be more positive, accepting, understanding and supportive.

I try, simply by nature, to lead by example. We can ALL change the world together, as individuals. Change can be quick and gigantic when the right energy is put in.

There are an awful lot of very good souls out there, this world will always be worth fighting for to me, creating a little "Eden" wherever we can- and watch it grow!

That is cool that you will have your own Elev8r, I can see it appealing to many SV3 owners. And to me who couldn't use the SV3 at all due to an allergic reaction, as an enticing alternative.

See you around friend!:)
