Member, you member riiiight?
Has anyone tried placing an order on the NewVape site these past few days?

I'm trying to get a flowerpot but their ccard processor keeps declining my cards and giving me the error message to try again later. I tried multiple cards over the past 2 days and get the same error message (Transaction declined. Try again later)
I doubled check with my bank there is nothing wrong with my cards. Anyone else having problems or is it just me?

The same thing has been happening to me since Dec 30th, They said on here they had some major problems with the site currently. I unfortunately had the phone go straight to voice mail when i called today as well. I think they may still need a few days to get back to normal small company.

Yep - so sorry everyone but for some reason on NYE our processor stopped accepting any orders whatsoever, but it appeared to our customers that the order went through. Fun! We upgraded to a new, more advanced CC module while we investigated the issue. Sadly, the new module only worked sporadically, rejecting about 70% of the orders placed but allowing the rest through. We've been working feverishly exhausting every option with the developers, and we feel that this morning we've resolved the issue.

We use top shelf platforms for our site (Magento for the site and Authorize.net for CC) so its extremely frustrating when they develop code issues. MANY people have complained to us and rightly so; its been super frustrating for everyone and we feel terrible about the experience many people got over the past few days. Please know we worked tirelessly to fix it.

I would be remiss not to acknowledge security here. Any time there's an issue with the CC processing system, people will naturally consider a possible security issue. It was our first concern as we take security extremely seriously. Fortunately the problem was discovered by the developers as a clearly identifiable code issue, and not the result of anything nefarious or illicit. Phew. We did a security audit anyway, we're constantly making sure that our ship is as tight as can be for your security, and for ours. Its something Edwyn and I discuss daily.

The problem appears to be resolved from every test order we've placed, but we continue to test aggressively. If anyone has any questions about your order and you've emailed sales@newvape please know that Lori is in ninja mode right now trying to get through a mountain of communication and will get to yours asap if she hasn't already. PM me if you have any other questions whatsoever!

I've dealt with the Magento database and having had to integrate it with other systems (I'm not a coder... these tasks just fall to me always), it's terrible when things go wrong, and the documentation is sparse. It's trial and error a lot of the time to fix it, and unless you've just grown up in databases/pcs/understand the minds of other coders, it's just hard to use.

I know this is a difficult time, but I guess since I have a personal understanding of the trouble you're going through having done it many a time for ecommerce businesses I really empathize. it's hard and I feel your pain. Hang in there man!

Edit: my flowerpot twax was delivered early and got here yesterday. I should have checked my mail when I got my email I could have been using this....

wow, feel for you all that are waiting on orders... I guess I got lucky and my order went through last week. Though a shipping delay occurred....it is riding around in a little white jeep in my local area now.

Took off half a day off to greet the delivery person and take possession of the magical wand! I feel like a father for the first time.....sweating...pacing...and getting my cleaning station ready.... for a Ti clean-a-thon and first test.

Should be T-3,2,1,........blast off soon. :science:

I was surprised that this stuff had not a hint of machine oil or anything on it. I did a quick rinse in the sink and fired it up. Figured anything funky was going to get burned off at 700deg. I doubt your are going to have to put too much effort into cleaning this stuff.

Newvape420 just wrote the following a day or two ago.

FWIW we clean all parts in a lengthy ultrasonic bath to remove oils or coolants used in machining. That being said we recommend that each owner clean all parts prior to use if purely for peace of mind. ISO is definitely fine on all metal parts, and an h2o rinse for good measure. Not that it matters, a little bit of ISO isn't going to survive the heat-up process.

I've never come across this, ever, but If anyone finds any oil on our parts, please let us know!

Also @invertedisdead and @Square4Life (and others) are spot on, a clean screen is VITAL to FP happiness.

Man all these informative post and here I am just posting pics of what I get high on.One day I will contribute more to this thread.Anyways Black Jack & a Joe Budden freestyle on Funk Flex.........
We all contribute in our own way, and you give more than enough with these generous glimpses into your life. I have no doubt your posts are appreciated by very many and actually a refreshing change of format to the information/gossip packed posts of the rest of us psychotic nerds!

You just seem to be enjoying life no strings attached. That is the impression I get anyway, no need to change anything there.

Saying that, we will be all ears to learn a little more about the mysterious poolside porch Flowerpot man, if and whenever you feel like sharing a few words.

Just so you know bruv you are doing just fine to keep on justbas you are, although sometimes I find it hard to look at your pictures which are a tease for me- I can't use my Flowerpot at all, and the world of fine extracts and AAA+ meds is a universe away from me.

The peak of my cannabis is outdoor UK autoflowers. Not terrible by any means, but still I would love to get the full experience of what the marvelous herb has to offer.

C'mon UK legaliation, that would sure open up the doors to some higher grade meds.:leaf:

Warmest wishes and a very Happy New Year to all members here.:)

So my FlowerPot came in the mail yesterday! First impressions....

HOOOOOLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYY CRRRRRAAAAAPPPPPP!!!! This thing is exactly what I have wanted. Some of the reviews coming from all day dabbers was what sold me on this vaporizer. Been playing around with concentrates lately and have really wanted to get into the e-nail game. Only thing is that I don't want to drop a bunch of money on a setup solely made for dabbing as I have access to quite a bit of very high quality flower while only occasionally having concentrates on me, so the Flowerpot really seemed like the ticket given that you can roast and entire bowl in one quick hit, just like a dab.

And it delivers that level of performance exactly as advertised. I set the controller to 580 degrees for the go. Instant success! PERFECTLY even roasting throughout the bowl - like 100% perfect and even!! This is rare among vapes I find as usually hot spots on top of the bowl are quite common, especially with the log vapes. Only vaporizer that comes close in this respect for me is the VXL Cloud, although the baskets get gummed up quite easily and become a pain to deal with after a while.

This is the kind of vaporizer for someone who isn't looking to stretch out a tiny bit of flower over a long period of time. There's a plethora of log vapes out there which do this quite well. I have a dozen of those and while all of them are pretty neat in their own ways, they all force you to sesh through multiple stems to get high. Plus they are really susceptible to hot spots and lose thermal stability quickly after a back to back hits.

I am very, VERY impressed with the FlowerPot!:tup::tup:

@JJ420 Welcome aboard bro!! :leaf:

Bunch of dabber-flower converts in here! I can say I honestly find myself craving a flower hit these days. Even after dabbing a bunch of fire rosin last night, when I got home I still had to fire up the FP for a flower bowl before bed.

i am torn right now. i currently use a classic silver surfer for flower. it was my original vape to get me to quit combusting like 4 years ago, and i am attached to it for that, but lately its been kinda rough on my throat. i was thinking of running it through water but that just seems like too much to mess with. so now i just mainly dab concentrates, but i do miss flower. and im tired of butane torches and quartz bangers cooling down too quick, leaving material behind, so i was thinking of getting an enail for concentrates anyways.

the flower pot seems like the ideal solution to all my problems! at this point i just cant decide on showerhead or wrap around. i dont want both. having 2 seperate wands, or waiting for one to cool down to switch to the other, is not what i want. i would like a dedicated piece for using concentrates and flower equally, thats why im getting this thing. right now im doing a lot of concentrates, but from everyones experience, and my previous love of flower, i have a feeling i will migrate back to using mainly flower when i get this. but i wont stop dabbing, and the thought of dabbing on titanium vs SiC is gross.

is the showerhead that much better for flower than the wrap around? the added air passages on the showerhead, from viewing online, seems far superior for flower, and the smaller amount on the wrap around head would seem to cause a very hot spot in the center. but maybe its not that drastic of a difference, and just stirring will solve any issues there, and then i get the best of both worlds?

any opinions?

NV pretty much sums it up right, if you are using more flower than concentrate, go with the showerhead, if you use concentrate more than flower or will have a desire to have the tastiest twaxing, the wrap-around.

Yep, the NV handles are pretty nice. Just got some round leather ribbons I want to use instead the waxy hemp. The hemp has a nice rough style but I haptically don't like the waxy feeling so much.

I bought my FlowerPot when I was primarily dabbing so I got the wrap around SiC dish. The dabbing experience is awesome but this thing has made me fall back in love with vaping bud. Flower hits are so satisfying anymore. The taste is just so clean compared to any other vape I have tried and the vapor production is amazing. I don't really see a need for the showerhead even though I am primarily vaping flower now...this works perfect as it is IMO.
