I'd be really happy to help, although I don't have access to the Era or the Pods in this state.......

Even though dimensions are a good start when designing, I really need a sample copy to work with and test-fit. Does anyone have an empty pod laying around they could loan me?

I'm sure I could easily whip up a simple case to hold the pods, I'd likely make it configurable so you can create any number of columns and slots from a simple 1x1 to a 10x10 if desired.

Do the pods leak at all or are they completely sealed?

I still have that empty sour jack pod, I can pop it in an envelope at some point if no one beats me to it. Can you PM me your current address bud?

Yeah no leaking, best to keep them upright imo though, but they're fully sealed in the plastic

The device and the pods are sold separately but I've seen a few promos near me where you get the era free when you buy a pod. Seems like more and more California dispensaries and delivery services are carrying them so I don't think you'd have too much trouble finding them.

Haha hey dude, ya it only works with the prefilled pods. I've seen em in many dispensaries and delivery services here in CA, you should have no trouble finding em if you want to give it a try

put down the herbs for a second atax, I said yes, many dispensaries DO have them lol they are pre filled just like standard 510 oil cartridges

The pods and the device (Era) are only available in California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Washington at the moment (12/2017). The price of an Era was $19 a month or so ago. I paid from $40 to $60 for pods, with Washington State on the high side, and Oregon on the low. I'm snowbirding in Palm Springs, and I will get to purchase a California pod Jan. 1, 2018.

Wow. I cannot believe it was this easy to find pods in my area. 7 miles away is the closest. I might have to give these pods a try once I get my paycheck next week!

We discussed taste earlier, never tried the generic carts, but the strains taste fantastic

My 1st pod was "chem & glue", supposedly a hybrid, couch-locky, yada,yada,yada. I liked it just fine. Smooth. I'm not generally in a hurry to get high. I rarely go beyond "2 petals". My current pod is named "Racefull", which sounds sativa. Makes me no "nevermind". I like it just fine. Very tasty!

I haven't tried the generic indica pod, but I have the generic sativa pod and the taste is rather "meh". The Nativ rosin pods I've been using taste much better, but at twice the price it may not be worth it for everyone.

Thanks @Stu. That was the answer I was looking for. A comparison between the original indica/sativa cart and the new ones. Got to try one out because I really want to like this device.

Did they lower the price of the Era to practically free? I live in Canada, and the website is showing it's $20 CAD + $10 shipping, making it $30. Is this the same price for people living in the States now?

Edit: should've read the whole thread, they did indeed lower the price. I signed up for the e-mailed store locator list for BC, but looks like it's not available in Canada to get a hold of one of the pods.

There are a couple of cases for the Era on Amazon. They are made of hard plastic. See them here. Hopefully, they won't smell like the wood one.

Got the Rubi for the refillable pods and would love it if that case fits.

Empty Pod is on the way to @Ratchett finally btw, so we'll see what he can whip up for cases, caps, and whatever else we can think up...

Meanwhile a friend actually had a hook up for discounted pods, $25 each for strains and saw Legion of Bloom in particular which I have been wanting to try. Missed him this time, but we'll see if it works out next time. Maybe I'll get even luckier and score some rosin pods at that price!

I got a bunch of new 510 cart brands to try now, so been using that more than my Era lately (which still has the blueberry kush cart plenty full, since I use sativas and hybrids more than indicas), but they're pretty nice: Plume, Refinery, Eureka, Sol Selects, CO2clear, and Gold Drop

Dear Pax, I live in Oregon. I bought one of almost every flavor that made it here from the Evolvd runs(a couple like Headband never did or at least I never saw them.) What Evolvd did was screwed. That being said, I then tried every one of the Drop Science Pods I’d seen in town other than OG Kush. Since the High Desert Pure Pods have come out, I’ve gotten a Dreamwalker and a Super Lime Pie and so far am very impressed. My main request would be to please quit it with the damn crosses and do some crowd favorites. And some landraces. Yeah. I know that there have been a few non crosses, and a few identifiable crosses, but ultimately I don’t know the composition of 90% of what I’ve gotten, and I like to know my medicine, and where it’s at on the indica/sativa spectrum...

Hey all!

I've been playing around with this Pax Era Pod and I've whipped up this mini pod storage case. What do you think?

I'm thinking I might rotate the pods 90 degrees so the finished case is slimmer so it fits in your pocket better, how many pods do ya'll typically need to carry at one time? I'm thinking about a single pod case, and a 3x1 configuration, or should I do a 2x1 as well?

Open to feedback before I finalize the design and publish it to my store
