Hi @Ojan_at_PAX

I would really like a mode within the app for when I'm using a water pipe.

The boost mode comes close, but it still let's the oven cool down by 5 degrees Celsius after a pull or two with a waterpipe and then auto offs.

The lip sensing doesn't work with the water pipe adapter from Delta3DStudios.

Really just a setting/mode that keeps the oven at temp and doesn't auto cool down or shutoff. Maybe a 10 minute maximum session time or something to prevent overheating

Thanks!!

I'm ready to pull the trigger... :D
One question please: minutes of session per pedal ? 5min? 8 min? or something else about time? thanks for your time

Depends how you feel on taste as the session goes on...personally I like flavour so keep it at minimum as much as possible but will step temp up once vapor and flavour starts to fade.(and also go back down again to revisit some terps)
My sessions are rarely over 5-7 mins as I struggle with the flavour after that.

Edit: you can probably spend 5mins on
first petal but a bit less on the each next one after that.

NOT! Know your specs, your connector and polarity and use any quality PS you have access to. And remember to match voltage and polarity, and to at least match the current spec. You can use PS’s that have a higher current rating, as your device will only sip what it needs.

Hey! Thank you so much for this. Do you know the specs of PC USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports?

gnajhar,
Uh, I think my Pax 3 has a damaged oven. I think I waited too long to clean the screen and something went wrong. It'll probably still work, but I'm guessing the warranty won't save me? One side of the oven is really black.

Keep at it - it will take a while to clean and scrape any gunk off but it will come loose with effort.

Don't scratch the oven, but you can use your Pax multi tool and attack it with some Iso. And lots of qtips and folded up abrasive pipe cleaners

You can also soak some cotton wool in Iso and allow it to sit in the oven for a while this may help.
If I have quite a bad build up in the airpath I will soak one of the pipe cleaners in Iso feed it into the tube and allow it sit for 10 minutes..makes it a lot easier.

I just thought id let pax users know about the cheapest waterpipe adapter i could find.it cost under £10 delivered from ebay but you need either an 18mm to 14mm or 18mm to 18mm gg adapter as well. https://m.ebay.com/itm/Hookah-Glass...095303?hash=item3d53bff9c7:g:Pc0AAOSwTQtaOxqs
All you do is push the 18mm gg adaptor in where the little watertool in the link would connect after removing the original glass water can and perc and thats your adapter made.just stick the 14mm or 18mm end in your water pipe and your sorted.half the price of the cheapest adapter i could find.

You know what? I lost my Pax 3 around two months ago and I thought that I have enough other great vapes, so that I would probably not care. But I missed it. Despite all the alternatives. So I ordered a new one today, black with matte finish. It's still my favorite conduction unit on the go and on my sofa.

I have been solely using my vapcap since it arrived a few weeks and decided to use the pax last night for a change. A different, but definitely equally enjoyable experience. When I got the M I felt sorry for spending 300 euros on pax but knowing it will last me 10 years and that it can be used where the M cant or at least isn't easy to be used, I am liking my investment all over again

Vapcap has really changed the game for me as well! It's the only vape I can do mouth-to-lung hits cause of the high airflow restriction needed. All other vapes needing a straight -to-ling hit hurt my throat a lot and I can't do more than a couple hits usually. I even gave my Project Eraser to a friend.
But the Pax... Oh, the Pax can do mouth-to-lung like a KING! The only battery powered vape that can do that for me so far! Not as tasty throughout the session but great feeling overall and I only had full ovens to test... So, once I can manage to spare the 250+€....... :brow::brow::brow:

I like the "M" a lot and use it all day long!

Lately I'm looking for a new VAPORIZER (battery powered) I like the size of the PAX?

The Pax is a great vape...especially the 3. I love the thing but it gets skipped a lot in my rotation because of the maintenance it requires. I find that I need to do a pretty thorough cleaning every 3 or 4 uses.

The Arizer products, the CFX and the Fury 2 get a lot more use because of the performance and easy cleanup.

Lots of other great vapes out there....these are just the ones I lean toward these days.

Happy hunting @ataxian

The new Pax 3 has arrived. I am so happy. And that black matte finish is soooo much better than the glossy version! I love it! It looks incredibly good. :) And that new thinner loading dock is also nice.

Been out of the portable vape game since the original Pax and owned an MFLB before that..Stopped using it mainly because I wasn't using it out and about often (not in a legal state) and felt when I did use it, I needed to rip through a full oven for decent effects. I am currently waiting on my medical card so now that I can have a vape with me where ever I go, I figure that is the best way to consume outside and not draw attention to myself. I am leaning toward pax 3 since I did like the pax even though it was a pain to keep cleaning sometimes, but didn't know if there are better portable options or harding hitting portables.

I use my Pax significantly more than the DynaVap.

I enjoy both but the Pax is better on the go

Damned VAS. The $175 deal was just to good to pass up. My OG pax was awful, but I have tried the Pax 2, which was much better tasting, and everyone here has mostly great things to say about the 3 so... click.

Also ordered a pax 3 on the $175 sale, but that was after my brother already ordered his pax 3 off a different website having a sale for $200. He wanted the shiny gold one rather than the teal he ordered, so I ordered the gold and we are just going to swap em out so we both will get the colors we wanted and I only had to pay $175 not bad at all
