Yeah I contacted them and I found out all is good no lead whatsoeverI really don't know, but I doubt it. In the first place, AFAIK the ELB joint has always been referred to as having a spot weld. I can't remember a question about using solder having ever come up before. I'm still using ELB's that I got with the original Cloud and I've only had one come apart. If the ELB bonds were made with just a traditional soft lead solder, they would have certainly broken down by now.
Secondly and more definitively, given current prohibitive regulations in the U.S. and EU, consumer electronics manufacturers having moved to lead-free solder decades ago, and even high-heat soft solders (~600-800F melting point) only being used in specialized applications, it seems extremely unlikely (if not illegal) that an inappropriate solder would be used in the ELB's.
That's just my. If you are seriously concerned, you can contact VXL Support (although this question may need to be fielded by Seibo himself).
Wow ...so I've only had my EVo for a few weeks .. been smoking this certain herb ..around 1030 .. well today I decide to take it at 9 o'clock .. all I can say is wow ... same stuff amazingly different ... I am however concerned slightly only because my legs have gotten really heavy I was so relaxed I felt like they were hard to lift up one front of the other ...now I don't mind being a relaxed LOL but on a serious note it was very concerning only because I felt really heavy putting 1 foot in front of the other it was hard to walk does anyone know why that would happen that much difference in the same herb ..for me I felt it in the body extremely not so much in the head in a weird sort of way

Has anyone purchased any glass seconds from VXL? I have no problem with dents or scratches, but I'm concerned about chips, specifically being on the flared mp (for the sake of lips) & the joints (for the sake of integrity). And I'm also concerned about the base of the piece or parts of it not being level (tilting) Thanks!

My straight MP from VXH was a second and dang if I can see any reason why.
I don't think they would sell glass with chips by the MP...the liability alone should dissuade them, I should think.

They definitely don't take glass as seriously as when they started out! The early glass was totally flawless, and that seemed to be a very high priority..

Does anyone know if the EVO station where it holds the tubes... will the baskets fit there also in place of the tubes ? I'm wanting a station but I don't use tubes ...not wanting a bunch of holes there not being used ...unless someone has a better idea I'm wanting to have something that will hold a bunch of baskets....also I was wondering how fast you Vapexhale gift certificates when ordering ?

I get what you're saying LOL .......oh I was wondering has anyone had an issue with there evo having a green light and not being warm ? happened to me yesterday I turned it on walk away came back it was Green but it wasn't warm and all ... when I turned it on I can't remember if it was red or anything honestly normally I pay attention but I turned it on walked away came back it was green and it was cool to the touch . i've only had it for a few weeks and it's already done this make me very very nervous especially at the cost I paid ... I shut it off turned it back on light was red and I took a little bit to get temperature my son was thinking about purchasing one now he's on hold about it ...So you are going to have 18 ELB's in your rotation?!
That many should last you just about . . . forever.

This seems to be something that happens every once in a blue moon to many, if not most, of us. I suspect that the unit just needs to reset itself, analogous to how a phone or PC sometimes needs a reboot. I wouldn't give it a second thought unless it starts doing this repeatedly, in which case you want to open a support ticket - even then, no real reason for concern as VXL's customer service is excellent and they will take very good care of you.

I picked one of these up earlier this month when I noticed they were on sale. Primarily because the capacity of my Plenty routinely led to overindulgence, I was hoping for something that could get me hits that dense with less material.
Yep, it does that. I get bigger rips from this on 1/4 of the material. And I know the efficiency has to be waaay better, if only because it doesn’t continue to ‘leak’ a bunch of dense vapor after every hit like the Plenty. I’d load ~.7-.8g in that and get 2.5 sessions out of it (two good ones and a third weak one at max temp to kill it), 150mg get me comfortably medicated in the Evo, 250 gets me pretty stoned.
The one thing the Evo can’t quite match is flavor (hear me out), only because with the Plenty I was cooking off all the terpenes of a full load in the first two hits. Of course that means the next twelve hits don’t taste so great. I was also using a whip setup which I found to improve flavor a lot over the stainless coil. The Evo is definitely more consistent in flavor, but that first hit of super lemon haze in the Plenty would cause a crazy tingling/burning in my throat (I’m guessing the limonene), and then the exhale was an overwhelming aftertaste of lemonheads candy. I have yet to be able to replicate this with the Evo using the same material.
Not a complaint, just an observation. This thing is basically perfect as far as I’m concerned. Extremely happy with it. I’m using it with a lynx, nifty little thing. I’ve tried the nails, but the cheap crumble I had wasn’t too great taste wise. I definitely saw the potential, so I bought some quartz nails and now I’m on the lookout for some live resin or rosin to really see what this thing can do.

My EVO developed a loose wire in the power input after maybe a month. $12 by FedEx ground (I'm in Maryland) and sent back to me without any shipping charge.

I never measured consumption but I’d say A LOT. When I was home it was the Evo or Volcano always on and my bill was quite high.

@Barry Garcia I find that a quick ISO soak of the ELBs after use helps to increase the flavor of flower substantially. I bought a bunch and rotate through them. I use Everclear and not ISO...

I did notice the ELBs gunk up pretty fast, but I use a s&b brush after every load then iso soak every ten loads or so. I bought a bunch more of them so I only have to load once daily, and clean less frequently. The lynx definitely has a negative impact on flavor but it’s so smooth I don’t really want to use it without it. Worthwhile trade off.

I'm coming from an extreme q to this..
With my q I used three elbow packs in a evening and I was sorted with the evo I'm using six half filled baskets... The q was set at 200 the evo at 1o'clock.
Enjoying it but I'm getting through loads of bud with it don't know if it's cus I'm running it in and enjoying it more then the q. Thought I'd post as I was told the q uses quite a bit of bud and the evo doesn't need as much to get the same effect but it's quite the opposite for me.
