Paying it Forward - A New Direction

Great post and thanks for the video link...seeing this just makes me wish that somebody would just go and kick Jeff Sessions ass. Him, Christie "the whale", and Rosenberg...."no valid medical application". Fuck those guys.

You do great work, Vito.:clap::nod:

While They can not change my double vision, I will be getting Cataract surgeries next week on both eyes.
They say the acrylic implants will make me able to see with less blur. Maybe this will help me with my ability to diagnose issues in the smaller portables once again!

Hope it's a huge success and works out for you bud.

All the best,

GH

A special thanks goes out to @ShayWhiteGrow for the huge donation of vaporizers to be distributed to low income patients:
  • Original Iolite
  • Wispr2
  • Og Pinnacle with water tool and stand.
  • og Vapium Summit
  • Indica Noir
  • Davinci Ascent
  • Vapir Prima
I promise they won't go to waste!
That's quite a list.
I will type more when I can see better. Still healing.

I gave Vitolo permission to reveal my donation in the hopes it will motivate others to do the same, and certainly not to garner any credit to me personally.

Find it a good home, Vitolo, and I will be happy knowing that I may have contributed in a small way to someone else well being.

This one is versatile and functional enough to be an appropriate vape for a great variety of patients.
I can not thank you enough... I love meeting and studying units I have not yet come across.

On another note:
I have tried to be discreet and comply with the wishes of members as far as privacy goes.
One of you has done a lot but has remained private.
Mystery gal-
I would have to go back through dozens of private messages to explain what she has "paid forward" to this low income community which I serve.
Many units that she held as spares, or got as gifts... even maybe units that fell out of favor.
Thanks, Dear Friend.... You have helped many.
Most recently, a Hot Box Original, that has helped in 2 homes, but has come home here to wait for a new patient... it's glass pieces require only a minor amount of dexterity, but the right unit for the right user is the goal!
I also thank you Mystery gal for the DynaVapCaps. These are ideal for some of my population of transient patients... ones with no permanent home, but whose MMJ cards State Fees were paid for through donations (some from a few members here!), and caring Doctors, that waived their personal fees.
Many are Veterans... forgotten heroes with qualifying conditions, but a street-based lifestyle.... The DynaVap Caps that you provided are going to 2 such homeless
patients, so that they can feel that they are not left out of what there is on the tree of generosity.
Love to you all.

@Vitolo would an og flowerpot be something you could use? Not the pid/controller, just the hardware? I was going to give it away in the classifieds because I didn't think it was something to send your way, I figured I should ask first though.

I'm also seeing a previous post of mine where I said I'd send some stuff and never did, I will rectify that.

I will look into how to find a pid/controller.
I would love to try this technology... it appears to be similar to the Sublimator, but a little closer to the ground (safer feel).
Then it would sure enhance the life of one of my heavy hitting patients!
While I can not afford the controller, I will begin the hunt for one... in fact I posted an ad in classified.

Thank you @StormyPinkness
I will find the controller.

I have found the PID.
A generous person just has donated the controller.
I will be getting it soon.
Thank you @StormyPinkness for the thought and the kindeness.
Excellent, does it also include the barrel coil? If not I'll send that also.

I was going to send it all out today but as I was loading it up I saw some pieces that weren't clean so I left them in an iso soak while I'm at work. I should be sending it out tomorrow, I'll let you know.

Actually does anyone know if iso soaking a sic dish is ok? I feel like I heard that was bad for it. I normally just heat it and scrape it, I'm not sure if that will get it clean enough for shipping though.

Edit: I should post this in the d-nail thread probably.

Thank you for all you do Vitolo, I only hope that my future donations will be more orderly and that I will have things packaged up nicer in smaller, complete packages!
Nothing broken....all being tested now for battery power retention......
You went above and beyond what could be expected of anyone wanting to do good.
I also question myself often..... wondering if I am doing enough in the right way to repay the Universe for my gift of still being alive.
We are alike in that we have done well and done good, and still find time to question our own deeds.
I thank you for "watching my back", and helping me fulfill obligations to the Universe that I am not powerful enough to do alone.
God Bless You~

Anonymous Guy that has helped with the 2nd Flower Pot Project....
I love you man.
You have helped in the tidying up of a situation, of providing High quality tools to a low income patient that is capable of using the device, but would never in a lifetime been able to afford one.
I love the device, but have many vapes, and so in spite of my magical mystical brief relationship with a couple of Flower Pot units, I will be paying it forward to the capable!
One day I will own one for myself!
In the meanwhile, the providing of these tools has made me feel complete, and has made you guys the heros to many.
I do not take credit in these cases, but rather I enjoy saying that an FC member covered them.
This takes away the feeling of indebtedness to me, and helps to show that the world (the FC world) has their backs!

I now have a second Flower Pot set-up, on the way from @StormyPinkness
The first was tested out (an ass kicker!!) and is gone.
The Flower Pot was well received, and has landed in the hands of a patient that will use it every day.
A well coordinated young patient with a fused spine and need for pain relief.
He needs solid heavy hits, and exclusively uses water.
He got the Flower Pot, and the Bubbler sent by @virtualpurple
Seeing this young patient so happy made my day.
In his voice that I know too well that hides the pain, he smiled and said:
"I have never been so stoked"
I will rest tonight... long day, and many things have passed this day.
Thanks for reading.

Our fortune here has been miraculous, and now that Flower Pot is on my radar, I have secured yet another promise of the main works of the Flower Pot coming in a week.
This one also is without a controller, but Since the parts have not arrived yet, I feel the comfort of time as I get together a final controller for this one.
I had no idea that the Flower Pot was so well thought out and safe.
When done, that will be 3 local patients with a Flower Pot.
Could not have done this without you all.
EDIT:
PID/Controller located!

Thanks @OldOyler
The DaVinci I.Q. and the Puffco have landed, and I am already building a plan of action/placement for them both.
Tucson, has one of the largest population of low-income patients, and patients that are "the working poor".
Thanks to all of you, Tucson also has the largest number of patients living in poverty that own vaporizers.... many of them High End vapes.
Thank you all for Making It So!

My pleasure sir. I'm glad it will finally get some use, I started neglecting a lot of my vapes once I got my glass symphony.

The coil plug=in connector was an older type that can not make the coil function....
but @StormyPinkness , the odds and ends you sent are INVALUABLE, providing "wished for" parts to 3 FlowperPot Users!
In the words of the current vernacular, "You da' bomb!"

We were lucky enough to get a donation of two brand new Fury 2 units.
I tested one and LOVED it's performance, and I deemed it to be a great medical device.... for it's convection flavor, size, readability of the screen, and ease of access to the buttons.
Both of these units went to senior citizens with cards. Both had diagnosis of advanced arthritis, but each has other relevant age related disorders.
The Fury sure impressed me with how easy it is to control and to read. for a patient with limited function.
I would not hesitate to give one of these to any patient.
