I tried two strains over the past 6 months: CBD Therapy (on budmail.biz) and Charlotte's Web (on treemo.ca). Charlotte's Web was the better of the two. It felt like being sedated.

At this point I vape cbd daily for fun. It has replaced my minor doses of sativa before I drink tea or watch tv or play video games. Also I use it for possible medical benefits, before bed, during exercises like swimming and jogging.

Yet to try the stuff. After a weekend of research (mostly here and reddit) pretty much decided it would be either the distillery or phytodabs. Phyto e-mailed me with25 points off, so they win tonight.

Got a gram of the GSC full spectrum Slabs. Beta program, giftcard bonus!)
A half g banana kush full spectrum slabs
And a g of slab isolate.

Will report back.

Forgot to mention in the first post, I had also ordered 12 sample size packs from MyaDerm. Received those a few days ago, and my order from Phyto today:

The MyaDerm seemed to have no effect on me or my roommate. I tried it the last two nights, 4 packs each night, spread on my back and legs. $20 down, no biggie.

As for PhytoDabs:

The GSC and Banana kush seem very similar. Both have a very musky, somewhat earthy aroma. The GSC smells just a bit sharper and appears just a tad darker, otherwise I'd believe they were the same product. The isolate also has this exact smell, albeit much fainter than the other two.

As for the effects, so far not much. The only thing I can say is I'm not steadily dropping dabs of my normal concentrate, as I would normally be doing after work on a Friday night. I feel, how do I put it, content? No urge to smoke, as though that's being satisfied by the CBD.

I have all 3 in my Grav Labs Ionix and have been puffing here and there since I got home a few hours ago. Also took a couple big doses through my rig. May have already have gone through a few hundred mgs.

I'm gonna continue the tests tonight and am looking forward to trying this stuff first thing in the morning, before I've used any THC.

I either vape ACDC which is 20% CBD and 1% THC or use a CBD tincture to treat seizures.

My daily consumption of flower is .040mg or eight (8) drops of CBD tincture @ .067mg per drop.

Both the ACDC and the CBD tincture make me very calm. I have multiple health issues and spend more time than I would like getting MRI's, CT Scans, injections into my eyes etc. Prior to obtaining my cannabis medical card I would request a Xanax or Valium before these procedures to calm me, but now I just vape .020mg of ACDC or four .067mg drops of CBD tincture and I am very sedated and need nothing more.

I am extremely sensitive to chemicals of any kind so the ACDC and CBD tinctures are in fact a little psychoactive for me.

How long do you find that it takes for CBD to kick in, and how long does it last for you?

Do you notify the techcnitians that you’ve taken a something before getting brain scans? I would think it would be noticeable in the scans if it is having such an effect on you.

Thats interesting that you require such little cbd for your needs. I vape Charlottes web and get about 15mg cbd per bowl (at 15% cbd, thats 150mg cbd per gram of flower, and I vape a 1/10th of that per bowl).

I didnt know cbd is effective in such small doses to treat people with seriouse conditions. I only take it for general comfort, during excercise, and also for some nerve pain issues in my teeth due to years of grinding (not sure if it helps heal that or not).

Been forced to stop doing weed after nearly 25 years of daily use. It`s very hard for me to come down at night and even harder to fall asleep without. If I`m able to sleep I`m getting nightmares very often and don`t feel rested in the morning. So I tried CBD liquids in an e-cigarette. Sadly it`s impossible to get some CBD only weed here or CBD liquids under a real quality controll.

Up to now I`m quite dissapointe. The CBD stuff I tried, couldn't help me much with my problems.

I utilize a titanium OmniVap to vaporize the .040mg of ACDC flower and the effect is immediate. When I do vape I heat the OmniVap four (4) times, thirty minutes apart, over two hours.

The CBD tincture starts to kick in about 15 minutes after placing it under my tongue.

If I were using my Firefly2 to vaporize, I would definitely have to use more flower as it is not as efficient at extraction as the OmniVap.

Took some time to realize it, but this stuff is great medicine. I finished off the last of the 2.5gs from PhytoFamily tonight. Its been a great week, noticeably less social anxiety, depression way down. I've also been able to cut way back on my normal THC intake.

Placed an order with CBDistillery Friday:
500mg 15ml full spectrum tincture
1g "The Yummy" Terpsolate
200mg disposable "Grand Daddy Purp" vape pen (brand new product, limited release this weekend)

And tonight from Phyto:
500mg Banana kush FS Slabs (same as before, my favorite product of the original order.)
500mg Gape Ape FS Slabs (all the reviews say this one tastes like candy, cannot wait.)

Also ordered some kratom products tonight. Tis the season.

Do you guys notice any difference in your energy levels, when using CBD? Does it clear up any tiredness from vaping THC earlier or the day before?

For those of you who add CBD to your bud for vaporizing, how does it change the buzz?

It`s very hard for me to come down at night and even harder to fall asleep without.
That's a problem for me, too. I can be exhausted, but when I lie down and close my eyes, my mind will still be running nonstop, for hours. Vaporizing with THC definitely helps calm that down enough to make sleeping much easier and more comfortable.

I got Sour Tsunami. Seems like ~10% THC/~10% CBD?

And moonrocks. Hm, I could try to see what adding Sour Tsunami does to the moonrocks sensation.

...still really high. I guess it changed the sensation a little bit. Bit more relaxed? Still crazy high.

I think cbd gives a fairly strong buzz on its own.

I found Charlotte's Web gets me high, even though its 0.3%thc. Its got to be the 15%cbd that gives a strong buzz.

Something I heard on the weed nerd yesterday, seems CBD has the best benefits with small or large doses, mid range doses seems to be less beneficial. This may explain why 60mg doses weren't giving me noticeable benefit from 10mg doses.

cbn will be the sleep aid compound for most people... oxidized thc... I guess the oxidized part of the equation is why...

CBD seems to provide an overall feeling of wellbeing. Indra had said this and it's about as well as anyone can put it. You can test it's anti-inflammatory action fairly easily treating headaches or indigstion.

I don't find it as useful for say, someone with anxiety already taking a number of anti-inflamatories, except to entourage with THC :2c: I had some social events this morning so had to be on my best behavior. CBD isolate with my daily supplements, no THC but I felt good.

When I just vape ACDC (20% CBD & 1% THC) or use a CBD tincture, I feel quite calm and it makes me somewhat tired. It does not give me the emotional or physical boost that strains like Jillybean would give me.

In my case, high CBD products do not assist with depression and may in fact make it worse.

THC can help depression from its uplifting qualities just the come down is where things go bad... any way to buffer the come down and maintain / sustain a more steady metabolism will help with come down..

so.. CBD by itself can act as an antidepressant and anxiolytic, d-limonene can too
myrcene is sedative, should probably avoid it for daytime use. but harlequin has plenty? yet reviews say it's uplifting
d-linalool is also sedative
Bleh I dunno. still don't know what would reduce the thc comedown. but that's kinda off topic. maybe some terpenes/cannabinoids would reduce a sedative effect of cbd?

I've really been enjoying CBD isolate with terps added in small amounts to bowls in my vapcap and heat island. It really does change the high. I'm not convinced the terps have any real effect, but they make the CBD crystals tolerable. I had some before that just tasted nasty. CBD vape liquids I've tried have been gross, too. So it's nice to finally have something that tastes decent. When I first got it, I could smell it through the plastic outer packaging and it smelled sweet and a little skunky. That's basically how it tastes, too.

It clears my head, but it also gives me this sort of odd body feeling at higher doses. I don't really enjoy the strange feeling, so I've been sticking with lower dosage added to a green salad. By itself it made me feel relaxed and then sleepy.

Testing out the CBD crystals, I started out the first day with just CBD on organic japanese unbleached cotton. Then after I was comfortable with that high, I added in some herb. It felt more intense than normal, but I couldn't put my finger on it. When I reversed the order, the effect became more pronounced. As soon as I inhaled all the vapor from the concentrate, it shifted my high. My head became less foggy, I felt more creative, I couldn't hold attention on anything for long (which can be a normal effect for me, but the CBD intensified this effect a lot). It felt like a more refreshing high in a way. When I do them together it gives me a head rush and then I feel it go to my body. I think I've vaping too much today cause I'm getting a headache lol

I'll get the chance to try some phyto family crumble soon, so that's pretty wicked!
