Man, I have to say even though it's early days I really really like my OmniXL. I'm kinda amazed that what I thought was a randomly faceted beautiful pattern is actually an engineered geometric spiral that magically enhanced my spinning. I want to say that I'm talking about torque maybe? Perhaps? Anyway I felt instantly more connected with the Omni surface than the M. And beyond my feelings for an inanimate object and how sad that might be, the results were instantaneous as well. Made me feel like a Mack immediately.

I have combusted twice simply because I was soooo high trying different levels of chamber, experimenting with other variables but mainly going over-board playing with my new toy. So I wind up forgetting about the cool down click, partly because I'm blasted, yeah but also because this device is such a pleasure to use, I forget where I am in the whole respect-the-click sequence. So I'll accept responsibility for getting too high to successfully use the device, that got me too high in the first place, to get more high OK?
Excessive User Error, guilty as charged!
But DynaVap has a part in this too, and so I can't accept 100% of the blame. Here's why I believe that DynaVap have invented a tactile/visual equivalent to KFC's secret blend of 13 spices. I get mesmerised watching it spin, the way those faceted angles use any available light to bounce off its surface. I've been to just the right amount of Grateful Dead shows that this visual pattern alone is enough to make me space out. The tactile effect these angular cuts have on my left thumb and forefinger, with the MP always in my palm, is that of a grownup fidget spinner. It's soothing to me. So of course I'm miles away and forget that its not done the cool click! How is this DynaVap's fault? Here's how: They make a device that is very efficient and highly effective at what it's meant for. And that's great. But then they make it visually stunning, so much so that the stoner who just got stoned is now hypnotized by the metal space crystal spinning in his hand and doesn't know anything about clicks. Ipso facto: their fault, at least 25%.

I love my DV device, so beautiful in RL don't think a picture does it justice.
This is awesome.

George definitely created the potato chip of vapes, hard as hell to stop at one. The M is just a gateway to lure you in. Once in, you start looking around at the endless options. All these talented craftsmen building custom bodies, heaters and accessories for this one vape is pretty freaking amazing. And this thread is a whole other story. Awesome, to say the least.

So finally my "M Starter Kit" inlcuding the Dynastash arrived - unfortunately customs are keeping it.
Are there maybe any germans here who had a similar case? Vapcap kept by the customs...

What kind of device do I declare the VapCap as?

Is there any possibility to download some kind of invoice for my order? They'll probably want to see it.

Another wonderful feature of the Vapcap is that it is a magically self limiting device.

how do you do business with the guys that are doing the vapcap stems ?

like winegums and such.

they dont have a website, do they ?

@phattpiggie makes stunning custom stems. You need to check out his thread and scroll through his beautiful creations. PP creates a waiting list and then creates the custom requests from the list. He will be creating a new list of customers in January. We will get on the list by PMing him here on FC. He will let us know when he's ready to create a new list of customers.

@stardustsailor makes beautifully carved and anodized titanium stems. Unique and edgy. PM him to discuss your custom stem.

@Winegums makes wonderful VonGs for use with water tools as well as interesting and creative boxes and dugouts. He has an Etsy site of goodies that is listed at the bottom of his signature.

Thanks @DirtyD although it's probably best not to encourage me. Congrats on that SDS Stem, I'd like to see space green!
@stark1 okay okay, I'll charge the camera, my phone & tablet are shite for pictures. I wasn't championing the extra length but the pattern on the Omni, both sizes. I can see a time and place for both tbh, my next Dyna-related purchase will be a phattpiggie stem sometime in the new year. It could be 150mm, 6" long but I'm putting it all in the master's hands basically. He'll know what's best from his experience.

@Squiby You're so wise, that's exactly how I will look at it from now on. I can stay where I'm good or watch a load go up in smoke! You would think I'd learn but I'm always going one toke over the line.

@frosty234 what @stark1 said. My vote is for aromatherapy, I believe I saw that on DV's site as well.

@SloJimFizz Well said, very true. Some threads for devices made after the VC are ghost towns but this thread just seems to pick up speed and the DynaVap phenomenon grows. The culture of VapCaps is all through this thread. I think the sheer amount of accessories around VCs speaks to George's cool factor for giving them his blessing and his recognition that there is plenty of room for others. In the end it all equals more VapCaps in the world being used and talked about. And it just seems like George to encourage other enthusiasts' creativity and to be excited about new possibilities for his devices. Positive vibrations!

@DirtyD yo share a picture when you get your green beast. I'll be ordering one too and I love love love green.

So I found the perfect use for my vapcap and that is my public vape. Seriously no one looks twice at me enjoying The M. Someone in the know about vaporizers even saw me in the park and commented they thought I had quite smoking. It made me laugh. On one hand I don't want anyone to know about vapcap so I can keep using it everywhere I want, but I want everyone to know about it so they can enjoy it too. Lol

Allright thanks guys, just got my Starter Kit.
Looks good on the first view. One thing I noticed is that in both the green vapcap can and the DynaStash the VapCap has some space to move around so that it'll be a bit noisy when carrying it inside a pocket. Any solution for that?

I guess the little rattling noise comming from the cap is normal?

Do I have to clean the VapCap before first use with water/soap or anything?
How and on what parts do I use the Way correctly? I guess the Dynastash of course but the manual also shows that it can be used on the rings.

Unfortunately DynVap team made a mistake with my lighters, got the vertigo two flames instead the requested 3 flames but nvm, not that much of a problem.

if you're going to push your condenser into a new Ti-tip like you mention.... You'll probably need a Ti-condenser too.
The SS condenser of the M is a touch thicker than the Ti condenser.
The SS condenser will barely fit into the Ti-Tip, if at all.
You are correct that it does not go too far into the Ti tip. I thought all condenser tubes were ss except for the omnis, but maybe I'm wrong about that. In a non-omni setup, the tip end of the condenser is flush with the end of the body/stem and putting on any tip will cover the condenser a small amount (5mm?) I'm simpy pushing it a little more (2.5mm) to restrict the airflow a bit more.

Like @Squiby said, I have an Etsy storefront and I can be reached on the forums here through PM or my thread. I don't always have a huge stock of stems available so I encourage custom ordering if you don't see what you want. I'm working at my lathe this week and likely will be until the end of the year.

There should be some interesting things coming soon, I've been experimenting with resin casting and glow in the dark powder.

Guys,

How do you carry your VapCaps around? Or, asked differently, how would you carry it with no tube and no DynaStash?
I have a "tube shaped hemp bag" with zipper (maybe 2" diameter) that holds my essentials. Two VC's in tubes, couple small glass wax containers that hold ground material, a torch lighter and my magnet stand. I like to keep the VC's in their tubes and when I bought my omni xl there was no long tubes available - but it turns out that the xl fits perfectly in a 109mm (J size) doob tube and those are readily available online - I got three for 5 bucks on ebay.

the more I am reading the more I get confused.

If you have a Ti vonavong and an M
two functional vapcap.

you can build a M with the Ti tip mounted. okay

but can you mount the wooden vong stem on the M internals?

nobody has confirmed that it is possible.
george's video looks strange.
he's holding the tip in place with his finger.

I just want to keep my ti ti of my vong,
get an M,
switch tips,
and maybe sell the SS vong.

would be the cheapest option to get a functional, durable Ti Vapcap.
but this only works out, if the residual parts can be put together to become a functional SS vong.

You can buy the Ti Tip by itself. That's quite a bit cheaper than an M + a vong and you get to keep the spare cap and S/S tip.

The S/S condenser and the Ti tips get along fine – there was no Ti condenser initially. It's the S/S tips and the Omni condenser specifically that don't get along.

Maybe its been too long since i cleaned my vapcaps but how in the hell do you get those pesky orings to stay on the inner tube? Cant get them to lock in and no matter what i do all 3 of them end up at the end by the mouthpiece....

If I couldn't use a tube or dynastash I would likely make a leather carrier for it. I've dabbled in leatherworking from time to time and like working with the material.

Yes, the M body is a standard length stem which means that it can be replaced with a vong stem. I just put together an SS tip and M condensor in my cocobolo vong stem. If you reference the DV compatibility chart you'll see that Ti Vong is the same overall dimentions as the M. Swap the tips and you're done.
