Haha, I find Merzbow fairly relaxing to be honest, but I know better than to play it for friends. Merzdub might be his most accessible, great album.

He wrote the music and lyrics for the Broadway musical "Big River", based on Mark Twain's classic 1884 novel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, it features music in the bluegrass and country styles in keeping with the setting of the novel. The 1985 Broadway production ran for more than 1,000 performances and it remained one of the few very successful American musicals in the mid-1980s among the emerging successes coming from Great Britain.

Several songs I don't like to vape to. We vape at my poker game. There are 5 or 6 of us depending on the night. I'll probably get some heat for this take...One guy that shows up is simply unable to listen to anything but ICP. For 10 years now this has been going on. If he's there, nothing but the most juvenile rap I've ever heard. Not going to do them a favor today and post anything from them.

The first song I ever remember hating was Him by Rupert Holmes. I was eight then and our local station must have played it every hour back in early 1980.
