@MAbud, technically, you should remove the battery...particularly if you don't have an external battery charger. If you have an external charger, no big deal, you can leave it in. Here is why- the bluetooth chip in the IQ is always on, and while it doesn't drain the battery much, it does drain it. Now, if your battery is already low and you throw it in a drawer for a week, it could deplete the battery below 3V, in which case it will take the IQ a week to charge it.....or you put it in an external charger and no issue. Hope that answers the question.
@BigJr48, we're always making small continuous improvements with each batch. I watched the video you are referring to, and sure the ceramic is more rounded, but in terms of heat and haptic feedback, we haven't made any changes. The insulation is hand wrapped, so there is definitely some variance. Same with placement of the haptic motor. The further down in the unit it's placed, the more it's dulled.
