Discontinued Supreme Vaporizer

I posted a couple times a few months ago after I purchased the Supreme V3 from another user. I wanted to pop in and say the Supreme is still going strong. I absolutely love it and find myself switching between the Vapcap M for quick hits and the Supreme for the ritual and getting SAT down after hitting it. It is by far the strongest vaporizer I have used. I know I said that before but the statement still stands.

I had a buddy over the other night and he got to test it out. Needless to say it didn’t disappoint and I knew it wouldn’t. He actually said it was almost like a dab which made me laugh because I’ve read the same exact thing on this forum before.

I really hope the Supreme V3 is never discontinued, although I would welcome an electric version or even the option to purchase a single stem version again. Obviously mine is still in great condition but it worries me even thinking about something going wrong and not being able to replace this beast of a vaporizer. I still haven’t bought any new vapes because there is simply no need. The flowerpot looks cool but looks a bit confusing to set up. I’ll hold off on that and keep getting absolutely ripped from this amazing vaporizer.

I was hitting the dually today with some Tahoe OG nug plugs with some Tahoe OG shatter thrown in. What a delight!! First hits I heat up to 340 and get to super tasty cloudy hits then I reheat to 365 for some more clouds but not quite as tasty.:smug::smug:

Merrily merrily merrily merrily, life is just Supreme!
You damn right! Especially when you have a Supreme in your life!

Awesome video @Stu & @Buildozer. I guess after that there's no place left to go. Except maybe 3 SUPREMES w/ CONCENTRATE SANDWICHES!!!
:rofl:I posted this April 17th. Two months before I even had my Sup. Good to know I was pushing concentrate usage w/ the Sup before I even had one.

Got some shatter & a couple g 's of some fire. Think it's time I went & got another torch & fire up both Supremes w/ concentrate sandwiches. At the same time! :o :bowdown:Got the night off, hanging out w/ a few friends, a few buds & a few beers! I'll try to take a video, but the beers on its way as we speak & I can't make any promises. Gonna get fuckin' riggity riggity wrecked son! Been a minute since I had some quality shatter!

Damn Morty,
We must be on the same wavelength. Just soaked up some concentrate into some cotton and heated up the block to 170, inserted the bowl, took a medium pull
and white walled the water tool. I had to remove the bowl as I tried to compose myself. Riggity indeed!
Just one pull.

WOW!!! Feel like my 3rd eye was squidged quite cleanly last night. :o

Where to start ? At the beginning I suppose. After 2 trips to Home Depot & 1 to Lowe's, I finally got a hold of that Bernzo self igniting torch head @biohacker suggested 2 or 3 pages back (& some propane of course - insert Hank Hill joke here).

Had a few shots & a few Guinness w/ a couple buddies, pulled everything out, set everything up, loaded the bowls for both Supremes, turn on the Sups then...wait, the singles not turning on ? Huh ? :hmm: I've only used my single & my dually 20-25 times max (each). When not using them, I keep them in gallon ziplock bags inside a cooler w/ some other vape shit. That on/off button on mine is pretty sensitive, so I'm thinkin' (hoping) it's just the battery & it accidentally turned on by bumping the cooler ? We'll see soon enough. Positive thoughts. Bummed, but not to be deterred, I started lighting the dually followed by the single. I was gonna have to do this (the single) by feel.

We used my newly acquired DHG 18mm double jointed HC perc 12" straight bong for this. It was supposed to be 14mm, & since I don't have two 18/14mm reducers, I ended up using the stock alu stems. I forgot how much more material you can put in there vs the Vapolution 2.0 UNCUT glass stems. It's about double the amount! I am so used to the glass stems, that the stock stems felt like a bit of a weed hog...which is perfect! What we're doing here is gluttonous AF IMO & the term,"the more the merrier", could (& should) easily be applied in situations like these. I used my usual nug plug, fine grind, concentrate (around 0.2 each stem), & chunk (cherry) on top.

"OMG! It looks like your combusting!" one of my friends excitedly yelps as soon as I starting hitting the Supremes. I knew I hadn't b/c of the taste, but that comment did let me know I was gonna be in for a world of hurt. After about 15 seconds or so, I relent & exhale the biggest vapor cloud of my life! No bullshit! I'm in pain, but I go right back & finish off both stems in the next hit. The next 5 to 10 minutes were crazytown. Non-stop coughing trying to catch my breath. Dab sweats like no other (felt like I was in the Sahara). Tears baby...tears a fuckin' plenty. "Are you crying" one friend asks. Nooooo I scream! They're just dab tears! Ten minutes later, he would understand.

I'll tell you what though, I found my fucking ceiling, my limit. Holy shit. Those 2 hits kept me lit all fuckin' night! Just soooooooooooooooo reefed. Honestly, I think 2 Sups loaded to the gills w/ concentrates is overkill. 1 loaded to the gills w/ 'trates is good enough. This will be a special occasion only type thing. I just couldn't function vaping like this everyday. I'd be a comatose zombie. Oh, & the ABV from the single came out a dark dark brown. Looked to be around the 380°F range. To sum up, I would say (for me)...

SV3 + concentrate bud sandwiches = the only true 1 hitter quitter I've experienced. It WILL cut through the hardiest of tolerances. It's fucking intense. Intensely fucking fun!!!!!!! :ko: :whoa: :zombie:

Edit: Fixed the battery. Opened it up & jiggled the battery cover thing around & it started working again. Working fine now. Just did the above again. Wow... @biohacker you gotta do/try this man when you get your Supremes in. With the concentrates added to both stems. Unreal dude. The stock stems can hold so much ground bud...& concentrates. Maybe too much, hahaha...

My friend, three sv3's land next week so it's time to raise the bar! TRIPLE DOUBLE DECKERS ON DECK! :mental:

@biohacker Fuck yeah dude! So excited! Don't be afraid to put a fat, I mean FAT glob in those stems. It will take it! Just gotta pack wisely.

Dude, seriously, two was more than enough for me. Three's gonna fuck you up something fierce if you put rosin AND some ground bud in all 3 stems. No bullshit, if you do 3 stems packed like I did above (380°F-ish), it's gonna put on your fuckin' back. Guaranteed. Think of me when your hacking up your lungs & sweating your nads off! Go for it BH! Break on through!

Think i made you one a while back iirc...

It lasted about 30 seconds before the tape melted and made a mess! Great idea though, just need something a little more durable/ permanent.

Was thinking more along the lines of some sort of silicone lined/temperature proof bag? Or perhaps some sort of steel or aluminum case? I wonder if @NewVape710 would be interested in creating this accessory?!

This way you can have a small torch and preloaded stem, hit it, quit it, and toss it in the backpack, car, etc. instead of letting it "sit" out and wait the cool down.

@Morty I didn't know the earlier versions came with a heater cover? Any pics? I thought it was just some wooden block and the heat exchanger. Ed would be very clever to come up with some sort of cover for protection IMO.

Almost there...
They came with the same cover I made for you. It is not meant to be placed on
the heater just after a hit... give it a few and then slip it on.
A metal cover would be expensive to make and will hold the heat, depending on thickness of the metal.
@Ratchett May be able to print a silicone cover for you guys! He should be around shortly!!

I'd be happy to help although I've never really handled a supreme, what's the heat issue looking like?

That would be awesome! Maybe like a high temp silicone case, square - just big enough to be able to slip the sv3 into? As long as the silicone could handle the heat exchanger temps. Even just sticking it in upside down with an open end for the handle part would work good enough. Or some sort of closure, but ventilated? Thanks for expressing interest in this idea @Ratchett ! It is badly needed for on-the-go supreme use IMO!

My concern is that heat. If it exceeds 150C, I'm going to need to use a different material and it sounds like I would likely need to use my high temp silicone, which is heat safe to 260C. And sadly the cost to run those machines is quite expensive, thousands of dollars with no guarantee it will fit properly.

150c is nothing, we're talking the need for 200c+ minimum. I assume that my silicone oven mitts will be good for at least 230c, but i'm not sure what the heat exchanger temps are when at vaping temp at the sensor. If it can handle it, perhaps inverting it may be the cheapest and most effective solution here if possible?

Hopefully someone with the right tool can chime in on the heat exchanger temp when the sensor shows, say 200c as a safe maximum?

Yeah I figured the temps would exceed 200C, very likely over 250C.

I'll have to see who I know locally with a copy of a Supreme so I can bring my Thermal Imaging camera over and sneak a peak at what's really going on thermally before I go about designing any possible solution to the problem.

Here is an IR video I made, but please note that due to the emissivity of aluminum, the readings are not accurate at all.

Thanks for that Stu, pretty much how I thought it would look, hot all over! I knew you had an IR camera. I'm guessing your SEEK camera doesn't have a setting to adjust the emissivity?

My FLiR let's me set any custom emissivity from 0.01 up to 0.99, so I can dial in my camera for the Aluminum depending on the surface texture

Good guess.

To be honest, I don't think that the SV3 is a vape that lends itself to quick hit, on the go sessions. It's just not made to be used like that IMO. There are plenty of vapes better suited for that situation. The SV3 requires careful attention be paid and is really only suited for leisurely home use IMO. :2c:

Tomorrow hopefully I'll get mine. One of the last regular offered SV3 mono. It already has landed in Germany after half a year of waiting - but probably no time to use it intensively until the week after next :(

Maybe not for quick on the go ... but if you are stopped over somewhere for a little bit, and don't want to stay for an hour after your session while it cools ... a heat-proof shield might be handy.

Hmmm.. I've never noticed my SV3 requiring more than maybe 5-10 minutes for it to cool back down to room temp.. Maybe a custom wood routed, clam shell type case is the answer here? We're not worried about damaging this metal beast, so why limit ourselves to silicone? Any members here with a wood CNC to chime in?
