ok. yes it was stealth.
now i did my first on demand few hits at 350F.
seems i'm getting the hang.
if my "goal" is having 4-5 easy hits in around 3-4 minutes,
what would be the best setup regarding saving battery?
on demand or session/cruise? also considering Eco?
i think the on demand is better cause i don't use the battery as much it seems.
but not sure.
tnx for all your help.
btw this is a great device. finally i feel in the big league :D
never felt such an airflow before.
Well i dont think on demand is better, because it demands more extreme wattage values than cruise, which is easier on the battery IMO,because of the heatsoaking. At some point after beiing some time in cruise mode, there is no difference between it and on demand ,but from cold start, cruise is better option for me. . Also holding the button vs just clicking it twice at least for me is more carefree experience ;) .
I already proposed this,i will repeat myself.
Turn on cruise cycle to 250 C and after 15-20 seconds cycle back to the desired temp, take a hit and if you like you can go on demand for the next one.

ok so i figured out my rx200s was broken as it was only discharging 2 of the 3 cells and this must have been some to some board problem causing the overheat. have just received a brand new rx300 and it works but every now and again will say atomizer low/short and have to have the batteries pulled or the x removed and refitted . tried cleaning 510 with iso, still does it. could it be a problem in the settings?

I had the discharging issue with my RX300 it was draining one cell more than others.,it was software related but i found a fix on github and FJ implemented it in the current software. Also make sure you select the battery MODEL from the expert menu. Are all of your batteries same brand ?

What is your ideal temps jumps low to high in F?

For me I like 340F to get out the flavor and then 390F for a couple draws to finish.

I'm still experimenting though.

I recently used a ~1/2 packed stem at 400-410F and got crazy clouds for 1-2 draws.

I'm still cautious about high temps as the Tubo can get very hot and there's a lot of room for experimentation with draw speed and temps :science:

Tubo! I'm excited about this. I started looking at pictures online. Buy direct from the manufacturer is the best bet right? I gotta look through all these posts. Cool stuff man :D

i just got it (bought it from the maker here) and it's a really serious device.
premium feel, excellent built. i come frrm lower level products and this is another level for me.

I can't state this enough... use a longer stem and your experience with the Tubo will drastically improve. With that said, I feel like the Tubo is #1 on my list now for portable solo sessions where my Mighty is my go-to for multiple people. The Tubo man... such a straight forward design and it delivers like no other. Really really great vape.

price increase:
TUBO evic - $190
TUBOx- $125

includes a 2 year warranty on everything except the box mod and glass.
the box mods are covered by joyetech for 90 days (i think they usually last once they have survived this period). in the rare case that it should die along the journey, replacement/repair costs for an evic vtwo mini for example are around $35 plus shipping to me.

this is exactly what the warmup mode does with less button clicking. you can assign it in the 'menu>interface>clicks'. except it stops at a threshold wattage (heater hot=less watts to keep it hot) and not time.

have a very nice weekend everyone!

i know they say balance, they’re brand new vct4 charged twice in a 4 bay, you think i should contact the seller? theyre off ebay but said genuine and had good fedback
Enter Expert menu see BVO field and if all battery Voltage values match .When you charge them fully in the charger check again.
Also make sure you select battery type to VTC4. (Above BVO is BAT)
You have problems either with the batteries or uneven battery drain. You can try the software version i posted above i am using it without issues.

I remember that there were a few questions from North American FC members about getting bent stems in the USA.

I have used a stem like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M4FDUQU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which is $7.95 with free shipping (min order on Amazon applies). The stem is very close to the bent stem that we purchased with our Tubo's. This includes a screen.

Here is a link to screens that fit this stem: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073WQJYRS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have tried one of the screens and they fit fine.

BTW, I know it is a piece from an Arizer Q all glass balloon kit.

Yea that will happen.. tnx anyway.

FYI, I have been using the Extreme Q balloon stem for a few weeks. I was hesitant to suggest the Amazon stem until it arrived and I was sure it fit okay. That was last night.

Once I satisfied myself it was fine to use I recommended it.

Saturday night 20 something hours until my wife's flight and my @DDave vapor cooler broke. Everything was fine until it was no longer possible to send a replacement to her.
