Discontinued Haze Dual V3

I did start reading about glass in the glass 101 thread, even having that which is in place to help idiots like myself understand still had me very confused! The number of little bits and bobs you can get, I was lost. Last bong I had a go of was made out of a lucozade bottle and some foil and about 15 years ago!

Ill have a good read of those threads and start planning my next purchases.

I LOVE VAPING!!!

Thanks again for your help.

One thing that I think maube useful for the haze would be some form of sleeve for it for outdoor use. I have only just over a weeks worth of haze experience so im far from an expert but the last week the outdoor temps have dropped a lot. Ive noticed the haze sometimes struggling to heat or maintain temp outdoors even with a good amount of charge in my batterys. Wrapping my hand around the oven side helps but can get a little uncomfortable sometimes. Anyone else noticed this?

Either way this device kicks ass and im made up with it

I never got in on water tools for vaping. I wish I tried it but I can't handle the suction. I use to be a big bong smoker. But after my collapsed lung I stopped. I know vapor is different. But it's the sucking like a straw stuck to the bottom of the cup I can't handle

ginolicious,
Ive never been a bong smoker myself either but wouldnt mind seeing how the high differs when it hits would also be handy if I need to run out but want a quick hit. Not suprised you stopped hitting the bongs mate cant be doing you any favours especially with a restricted draw

all vapes are effected by the outdoor temps... I've seen people use a sealed cup to put it in with the stem sticking out or even leave it in the case in some cases... looking at this thing I'm really not sure where the air enters it when you hit it?? you'd want to not cover that and it would work fine if covered it... maybe a cloth or something like a vape blanket LOL ( keepin this Baby Warm tonight on the jukebox) :luv:

I did not mention it but it's specific mostly to what you are after with the vape... from a transition over to vaping you would get more sedative effects from high heat vaping on a bubbler.. the bubbler coats the vapor and smooths it out... hot vapor gets harsh fast without some conditioning... And as you mentioned- for a fast session. personally and through experience I've found a low temp at the start while increasing temp as you go delivers the compounds best and most efficiently.. you can use your breath to mix oxygen with the vapor and increase effects as well..

The only place I think they could put the intake is either under the switch on the top or where the door hinge is? Think ill knock up some sort of vape glove! Tonight is my Friday so uts getting hammered tonight!

I do like to work through the temps and im wrecked by the end but think a bubbler will do me for a quick session.

4 times now since owning the haze it has just shut off during heat up. No warning of low battery or anything, it just cuts off and wont come back on until battery is swapped.

@Haze Vaporizers is this something youhave come across before?

The intake is on the back of the unit half way down below the button. With the back plate off you can clearly see the hole.

The battery thing seems pretty normal in my experiences. I've only seen the red light 2x in a year or so. Once the heat up time gets longer i replace the battery. Eventually you learn how many sessions you can get in a single charge. I don't remember at the moment but i think it was like 6 bowls a charge though i may be wrong.

On a side note...
I've noticed one side of the haze is much easier to pull from. One side seems to have diminished air flow where the other works like it was day one. I've cleaned the unit out with no luck. I can't really fit anything in the intake hole but without knowing the mechanics of the device I'm not really sure where to go from here. Any advice? @Haze Vaporizers any clue what might be causing this? Thanks everyone.

This happens on mine if I haven't been the best about keeping the air-path clean. Try swabbing with ISO in the airpath and poking the holes of the chamber/ovens clean. I can always tell it's time for a cleaning session when I've got fresh batteries and it shuts off mid-session.. I think it ties in with the auto-shut off which may be temperature related. If there's extra build up down there, it may be affecting your unit's functionality/efficiency.

@Sketch420 good spotting I see it! Think im going to make a note when I Start my next battery of how many sessions I manage. Im assuming the air path is just open and shared between the two bowls and the air flow is directed with the selector rotating a tube inside so i doubt the issue is your intake. Maybe the exit hole from one of the ovens is a bit blocked? Toothpick/needle?

@sockelf ive been cleaning it thoroughly until my swabs come out clean every 2-3 days. I only have about 3 sessions per day so I don't think its buildup.

Its just annoying im yet to see any indication of a low battery. I sit there waiting whilst it starts cooking my bud and then just calls it a day robbing my gear of goodness!

Can you check if it switches off when you fiddle with the switch a bit? It shouldn't switch off when you just nudge it a bit, but a unit of a friend did and it switched off with just a minor of a touch.

And have you contacted your seller or Haze customer services? Because something seems off and you are not enjoying your unit as you should be enjoying it.

Drexciya,
@Drexciya no it seems OK there is some play in the switch but it seems to function fine. When the unit shut off I even tried taking the battery out and setting the switch back to centre but nothing. I seen the battery low light today for the first time maybe ive just missed it the other times but I doubt it. Will see how it goes, im still very happy with my haze just wish the bowls where a little bit bigger!

ginolicious, If you can try, "anhydrous glass". The glass, (bubbler, water tool, I use a sherlock), cools the vapor, but I think has less draw restriction and better taste. I discovered this with my vapcap, so I thought why not try with my other vapes. I have even tried my Orbitor dry with MFLB, Boundless CF, CFX, Haze 3, all my Dynavap. I really like the taste of different strains, and I think the water swipes taste. It won't cost anything to try, (just leave out the water). Doc

As @Drexciya mentioned the switch is sensitive sometimes... if mine moves in to much it turns it off so I have to pressure outwards to open it fully... usually though the mouthpiece is in and blocks it from closing.. it will usually blink red every few seconds @ first and increase in blinks as th ebatt goes more dead... mine was completely red the other day, no blinking at all... not good to reach those levels though but it happens

C No Ego,
Think im struggling with the transition a bit at the minute, felt so easy at first. I know I wont go back to combusting but it just doesnt seem the same anymore. Dont get me wrong I like the high from vaping It gets me high in ways I havent felt for a long time but only occasionally.
Without doing two bowls one after another I just get a bit of a buzz which drops off farely quickly, when I do have two I get wrecked but again it drops off quick. Maybe its my herb I dunno, going to invest in glass to see if that helps getting a mega hit at high temps. Think I may also invest in some indicas to put me on my ass.

Hang in there bro it took me almost two month before I was completely switched. Now I am in a position where I can get loads of good herbs so I just vaped my ass off during that period. So maybe I used more herbs during that period but that didnt bother me because it was for a good cause. After that period I started using less and less herbs.

keep in mind when you gather enough left over ABV (already been vaped) weed you can make an edible with it for extra effects... I'll help you out with how to do when you have accumulated enough if I can...

Thanks for the advice I will definately be sticking to it just gettin mixed feeling about it at the minute and think its gonna take a while get dialled in with my haze. Im starting to lean towards the convection screen as my favourite.

I have been saving my abv so will give youba shout when the times comes. I appreciate the offer! How much would you save up before attempting anything? A lot of my abv is really dark, is this useless?

Thanks again FCers!

abv is an experiment for sure... mixing it with good fats and having lecithin in there really helps any cannabis edible especially abv... if its dark you could go a few grams in an edible at once probably... caution there as it could be a wild ride... generally with some green left it will be potent.. the darker the less potent... that convection screen is great no doubt and delivers a good clean vapor... it took a while to really break my v3 in and it was kind of a different vape when it broke in...

C No Ego,
When you say break in what do you mean exactly?

Ill have to do a bit of reading on the abv uses once ive got rid of the 20+ tabs of dhgate glass!

I've never had a vape that needed a break in period. I don't understand that saying to be completely honest. I find vapes brand new hit better than ones that have miles on em.

Going towards the AVB, you can also use it to make a cream for pain relief. Mix it in with coconut oil and a splash of lavender gives a nice scent. I'm yet to do it as you need to cook the AVB for over 48 hours in a slow cooker. Not too certain on the process.

I know what you mean about that dhgate ... here is my personal fav bubbler I've found... it's my daily driver for all my vapes... it's 14 mm fab egg tank https://www.dhgate.com/product/2015...inches/247499767.html#s1-2-7b;searl|977612403

Break in for my V3 took a couple weeks... maybe 20 uses or so before it really started to produce serious vapor... vapor just got better the more I used it till it stayed steady until now over a year later...I've seen a few reports on this too as there was a break in period noticed from a few different users...
