Community help - Relocating to Berlin/EU

Hello dear community !
Been a member here for a long time now, you guys helped me pick my first vape (mighty) and get so hooked I got a second vape (arizer air) thanks to you guys!

So now, that I am in a crossroads with a big decision in my life, I really need your help again guys!

So, to give you a small background, i live in the middle of nowhere in the middle east (Israel). One gram of average weed (not the good danky stuff even, just the typical sometimes weak/dry depends on the dealer) costs here around 28.4 dollars. The medical stuff you usually get for roughly 34.1 dollars a gram, and even then a lot of times the medical marijuana companies have been known to breed weak/stale/seedful batches.
I usually run around 5 Gs per a week, a week and a half depending on how my depression/anxiety goes with work and life and all.

So my boyfriend and I are planning on moving to Berlin for his studies. He is a EU citizen and the plan was to move to Germany for 2 years for him to finish his masters and then hopefully move to Holland.

I read and heard about how Berlin is open minded and tolerant for weed users, but all I read on the internet is how brixxed and contaminated is the weed in Berlin.

My question is, will I be able to actually sustain my cannabis consuming life style in Berlin without having a hard time? I dont know anyone there besides my BF, so I wouldnt know how to score any weed besides the parks/random shady dealer that usually give contaminated batches.

What do you suggest?

Without any good herb connections in Berlin, I'd suggest a train ride to Netherlands for a little shopping.
Amsterdam is 650 km but I did a little searching and found Hengelo, NL to be 500 KM and right on the trainline.
For example, in Hengelo there is Coffeeshop Rokade with good reviews.

A little train adventure and some goodies to bring back to Berlin????

And wow, Israel is touted as such a cannabis mecca, at least for research, so those prices and bad quality street herbs are shocking.

EDIT: I don't buy street bud here in Minnesota so have to do an adventure trip to Colorado to "re-stock". 1000 miles, one way

You will not have any problems scoring in Berlin, just use google to find the common spots if you're in hurry. If you're staying for a while and want to avoid bad experiences it's always rewarding to socialize a bit. Berlin has a good vape store and regular cannabis conventions open to public, just visit them and talk or look out for music events promoted there, then just follow your nose.

A trip to the netherlands is a risky option, caught in Berlin with a few grams will get your fingers slapped, no need to worry. Crossing country borders with drugs is a whole different story that will always involve court when caught. Espacially because you'll cross a few different regions, each having individual penalties for individual quantities. With your destination having the lowest penalties of all across germany, this task sounds like bringing weed from Colorado to California.

So don't worry, with Berlin you have chosen the most cannabis friendly town of germany for your studies. It will be a lot harder for you to find an affordable appartment then to get lifted.

i agree with anything @horst wrote and would ad that you will love the prices, you shouldn t pay more than 10 Euro/g, even the good stuff.

As of how hard it is to find a decent connection - i think this is very dependent on how you look, what a person you are, which bars / concerts / clubs you visit etc.

I think Berlin should be quite easy, especialy if your BF is going to University.

Yep, Berlin is the best place for cannabis in Germany regarding offers and penalty - and one of the cheapest!
