Vapman

passenger

is this thing on?
Just came across the Vapman today and signed up here to ask a few questions! I've been looking for something to replace my volcano with as the missus and I can't stand the crinkling noise the bags make any longer! If you're trying to watch a movie or listen to music the crinkling can get real annoying, real fast. We've got a MFLB but never really got the hang of it, a crafty which is ok but the flavour isn't great, and Herborizer which has amazing flavour but is not so easily useable on a couch... Looking at this I'm thinking the Vapman station would be perfect. Taste is really important and the conveniance of heating the Vapman on demand (and I assume silently as the station doesn't make any noise?) means that this is looking very intersting... Should I be adding this to my vape collection?
Yes. (If you are ok with the bowl size. Two Vapmans recommended!)

A sort of his 'n hers type thing :brow: or do you mean two vapmans each :o
His and Hers like sharing the same station like two planets cycling... yuck! Did I write that? :D

EDIT: Joking aside, i think comparing the process with the Volcano Bag... that will be a nice new atmosphere with the Station setup. It won't interfere with watching a movie at all. Do it!

I just did cbd hash in the Vapman with the sieve for concentrates. For the very first time, never vaped hash before. It's amazing! Heated a bit longer than with dry herb and got very satisfying and tasty vapor. And it just keeps going and going. Why did I not try this sooner? Silly me! :freak:

Now you have a new way to enjoy the little fellow?
Oh yes. Combined it with a wooden mflb stem I got in 2012. It's so smooth!

I just finished reading through all 297 pages of this thread - The awesome attitude of @vapman and the cozy atmosphere beneath the device owners lead me to order a classic walnut Vapman together with the heating station, just some minutes ago. :) I am sure this beauty will feel very well treated and welcome here!

Have fun with your new toy, i am sure you will enjoy it. I would be interested in where you did order and if you ordered through Vapman direct if you have to pay customs.

Have a great day!

I'm happy to see the " Vape Critic " finally review the Vapman. I have followed and enjoyed his reviews for a few years. I had requested he do a review several years ago and originally thought that he would not like it. I'm glad I was wrong. He has a lot of followers and can help grow the VM awareness . But why did I watch a VM sesh video at 9:30 in the morning at work, now I have to wait all day to get home to my own ...

I ordered directly at the Vapman site, because I did not find the classic walnut Vapman together with the heating station at any EU source. I, of course, SINCERELY hope that I will not have to pay customs. It was already quite expensive as is and customs fees would make it a VERY expensive gift to myself. I keep my fingers crossed...

I'll be the devils advocate... I paid around 70eur tax for a 150-180eur order... (was 3 years ago don't remember precisely). Live in Belgium btw. So yeah a fucking expensive package man. I was lucky i even had 70eur on me.

Is that really 'the Devil's Advocate' position? Shouldn't it be some thing like 'duty is tough on the consumer, but it's there to protect our domestic makers. If we can shelter them then perhaps their presence in the market will grow and our citizens can enjoy more variety in domestic offerings at lower prices'?

As I understand it, the "Devil's Advocate" was a Cardinal taking the assigned role of opposing Sainthood for a candidate 'for the sake of the argument'. He stated a case he didn't personally agree with out of duty to see the other side got a fair airing? Adding integrity to the 'naming' of a new Saint.

In my narrow mind, duty/taxes do two things. Sometimes they protect us from cheap foreign goods that can destroy our industries (like say our Steel industry to Japan then China), many consider this a just thing, some deride 'protectionism'. And then there's the traditional 'need' to feed the tax and spend monster. Such taxes, simply to raise more money without specific burdens to 'give away' to voters is I think wrong. Attractive, but wrong. Excuses to grab yet more money should have no place raising the cost of vapes.

But when one advocates for the Devil, I think one takes the 'con' side of the issue (not supporting the motion) and traditionally 'going through the motions' for a position you don't personally support?

Had the same problem in Italy when I got my Station, pretty expensive package indeed (but absolutely worth it in the end).
I've been told from a customs employee that they are specificaly instructed to stop for tax inspection every package coming from Switzerland, I guess because they usually contain valuable stuff...

I am looking forward to your experience with the Station. I d like one myself but as it is quite a bit of money and i don t need it i have a hard time justifying it for myself...

I am looking forward to your experience with the Station.

The "sudden" existence of the Station was a game changer for me. I had an eye on the Vapman for years, but could not motivate myself to pull the trigger on it.

I just found out about the heater some days ago, somehow the Station never appeared to me before.

I will use the Vapman mostly at home in future. I have other alternatives for mobile use, that probably fit my profile better. But being able to enjoy the famous great taste and build quality of the Vapman, without any risk of overheating my material, on demand, at home, on my table, sounds like pure honey.

Goddam VAS. I went way over my vape budget for this year already in August...
Then, several VapCaps, a Fury 2, a Milaana and now the Vapman came along.
I really have to take a FC forum break for some months. ;)

That's exactly what happened to me after buying the Station. I use a torch on my Vapmans mostly with hash or just for fun once in a while.
Owning both the combos Vapman+Station and Vapcap+Induction heater I have to say that I prefer the Vapman as an electrical heated home device while the Omnivap IMHO wins outdoor.

@The Beagle
We seem to have quite a similar usage profile. I guess I will end up with my Vapcaps and the Fury 2 for everything "on the go" (both have their own advantages, depending on the situation) and the Milaana/Vapman + Station for everything that happens on the inside of my house. I am sure, if not fully convinced, that I have finally found my perfect device combination for my personal setting... Until the next wave of VAS comes up. However, I think that my setup is quite good and diversified now. :)

The Vapman parcel is already in my country, according to the tracking page - and it even seems (fingers crossed) that it passed customs authorities without getting stuck. That could save me some money. I will hang tight...
