From what I've read, vaping should conserve matter because combustion actually degrades much of the THC. I can believe that, but I am definitely using more vegetation vaporizing than combusting.

First month or so..you have to retrain your brain that you can get medicated without blowing large clouds..so you will vape a bit more at hi temps to get the desired effect...buy some evo elbs and half pack them ..I can use the same elb for 2 sessions one under 400 then the second at 430..I conserve alot this way..congrats on your cfx and choosing to vape!

Another thing to consider is vapeing allows you to retain AVB or ABV, whatever your preference, to use in edibles. Works VERY well if done correctly. So you get additional usage with vapeing.

Hello guys,
Today I'll get my new boudless cfx and I need tips for first use of it.
as I read on the net that the first few uses tastes like plastic (the solution is to clean the mouthpiece with iso alchohol).
the problem is that I'll get my bottle of iso only next week, so the question is if there is another way to get rid of the factorial taste?
mabye worm water?

Thanks!

Where do you live exactly? While high percentage ISO is great, 70% works pretty good for most uses. Here, I could get some in most any drug store, hardware store, convenience store, Target, Walmart, supermarket, 99-cent store (Check the label, they often only have 50%--which might still work.) and lots of others.

I live in Israel and its kinda hard to find a place to buy the ISO, well I jst got the veporizer a few minutes ago.
how many burnouts should I do?
and for now I dont have any alchohol (I'm at work), hot water will help get rid of the taste?

I don't know if hot water will work. But, since the most likely source of the taste is some lubricant left over from manufacturing, I doubt it.

Another asked about alcohol in a Reddit post and the answer may be useful to you:
It is probably because usually you have to ask for it at the pharmacy counter, they don't sell it on the shelves. You can just ask for alcohol if you need pure rubbing alcohol. If you want something for disinfecting a wound you get the stuff by brand name, they have סביעור and פולידין

It might. But, the percentage alcohol is going to be a lot lower and it might not be effective. Try it. What's the worst that could happen?

I'd do two burn offs, load it, and then start yanking the hell out of it if it were me.
I'm sure many people have taken it straight from the box, loaded it up and started vapping not even thinking of a burn off or pre clean.
Order elbs and start using them when they arrive. You have iso coming, it can only get so dirty till then.
Have some fun.
Or wait .......Your call.

That's ISO. Isopropyl alcohol. Here it is called rubbing alcohol. Some people go online to get 95%/99% as that is not as commonly found. (Except in electronic stores and the like.)

My dad can bring the 70% next week, I didn't knew that iso in fact is the medical alcohol.
Thanks a lot! for now I'll use the vodka.

Hm no, ISO is ISO, medical alcohol is ethanol.

http://www.brainstuffshow.com/blogs...ng-alcohol-methanol-and-isopropyl-alcohol.htm

PS: avoid the denatured stuff though, it's poisoned

I'll look at the back of the bottle before using it, because there is madical based on iso alcohol and there is one based on ethanol.
you think vodka will cause damage to something? (for now I'll use it till I'll get the ISO)

Hey everyone,
I just posted over at the CFX 2.0 thread but thought I would repost here as well.

Hey guys, we just received a functional prototype version of the Tera and I wanted to share some pictures with you all. https://imgur.com/a/WU362
We will also be sharing some content to show off the function soon, unfortunately our office is no longer 420 friendly so it is difficult to bust out content the same day.
Here's a bit more info on the unit:
We decided to go with an aluminum heat sink chamber that is essentially the CFV aluminum ring turned into a chamber. 2 removable 18650 batteries, USB rechargeable, chamber fits about .3gs and we will be testing the glass mouthpiece in the next run. The initial swivel mouthpiece we are using seems to provide a free flowing draw but agree that taste is a bit sacrificed with the plastic. We are no longer doing the removable rings found in the CFV. Also price will be $219.99.
Please let me know if you have any questions, you can email me at Eric@bndlstech.com.

So I picked up recently in an illegal state (lemon haze) and for some reason this weed isn't vaping very thoroughly. I'll usually get one good 5 minute session then the second session is wispy. The vape stops producing vapor when the abv is only light brown and its starting to irritate me because all the other weed I vaped would go 3 good sessions of good vapor and come out medium dark brown. Any ideas on what could be the issue? Thanks.:)

Every now and then I get a strain that just doesn't vape well. It's been a while since that happened, lucky I guess, but I ended up just smoking that shit.

All of this should be remedied with their next vape I hope. With the chamber it has, It works pretty much like the other convection vapes currently our that have really good performance like the fury 2 or titan 2 but with replaceable batteries. I know with the titan 2 I have that I can put any amount in I want and get clouds off of it. The chamber size really doesnt matter, so looking forward more and more to the tera. I need replaceable batteries. I'm hoping that they give something other than an aluminum herb chamber though.

Hey everyone, long time lurker here. I just posted this over on Reddit but perhaps the more seasoned FC veterans can better clarify if I'm wrong here. Did a search in this thread but I haven't found any clear info on what follows.

"I'm a huge fan of the CF - had mine for close to three months now and I've done the ELB mod and gotten the glass S&B mouthpiece for it. While I use my Solo II at home, the CF has been my reliable outdoors daily driver.

Out of curiosity I decided to check out Puff it Up's teardown of the CFX and I noticed something potentially disturbing. The heating element is apparently made of aluminum and while the airpath is definitely isolated from the electronics (a solid steel pipe passes the air into the heating chamber from the bottom of the units), the air then passes directly through the aluminum heating spiral before entering into the upper chamber where the herb sits.

This means the very last contact the air has is with heated aluminum, if I'm not mistaken.

Here are the pics in question:

"

Just wanted to add to this that I watched a Crafty tear down which reveals a critical design difference. Their aluminum heating element functions as a heat exchanger, surrounding the steel piping that conducts air up into the chamber. This means (in theory at least) that the air won't come into contact with heated aluminum at any point along the path:

Anyways, long story short - if this is correct then I can't imagine it's ideal to breathe in air that's been directly heated by aluminum.

That video was amazing, I wish he would do one for at least the most popular vapes, I think seeing the insides is invaluable...

After almost a year using the CFX , I just discovered another pro on it. The whip of the "Plenty" fits just right in the CFX. After a few ounces vaped in the "Plenty" , just stick the whip in the CFX and be prepared to get bombed. I usually avoid these type of concentrations, but this took me off-guard. I'm baked and there's still plenty of reclaim left in the tube dripping downwards.
Sorry if I offended you with the reclaim, but I can't grow much so I don't waste anything.

I just ordered the CFX and it's going to be my first vaporizer. Any good advice how to pack it and how to draw to get the best results? I will do micro-dosing (.1G)
I take any kind of advice though.:)
