Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

I mostly vape flowers, but occasionally (maybe a few times a month) will use concentrates as well.
Would you say the vaping experience is significantly superior to the Mighty? Enough to justify owning both? (I would need to keep the Mighty or buy a cheaper portable to have something for on the go as well)
100% Significantly superior. The Mighty uses allot of flower compared to the FlowerPot. This is not to say The Mighty is bad bc for a portable its one of the heaviest hitters. I have many portables for travel and bed time use while laying down watching some tv at the end of the night. The Fp will hit harder with less material and the clouds will be allot more dense , i'd say it is the closest thing to combustion without actually combusting. It will literally milk your glass in seconds and reminds me of my old bong hit combustion days when i was a kid. Now i am big doing the same thing only in a healthier way. It also has put all my other desktops to sleep that i own and i thought nothing would ever compete with some of them. Now they are getting sold or visiting the closet.
** I got something for you to pull the trigger on that loaded cart you got there , enter coupon code twaxvapor .

So you, @lazylathe, and I are all moving at the same time! :rofl:No apology required, I was just busting your chops bro. SO happy you're loving it as I am! I guess you don't miss/regret selling the herbo ti? What about compared to your og setup?
You beat me to it again, as usual!;)
I was going to ask- are there any Canadian residents around here who AREN'T moving home?

Actually, it's kind of nice in a way, if a bit unusual. Wishing each one of you all the best and nothing but happiness in your new homes. Looking forward to having @lazylathe back in full contributing swing when you finally get the bulk of moving duties done and the new place in order.

I see that it's a sativa strain, but aren't "kushes" supposed to all be indicas?

That must why they call it "Mickey". Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised, some breeder with a sense of humour wanting to switch things up a bit!

Just having a bit of fun guys, had a real stressful day today. I still have a load of today's posts to read, but was compelled to post this first as I work on regaining my calmness with a lovely cup of cannabis tea I strained from the muslin wrapped bundle of sugar leaves I cooked and strained yesterday.

These teas I make from the weed I can't squeeze any more coconut oil out of are freaking amazing. There is no way to predict the dose. All I know is there was only 175 grams of weed infused coconut oil in the jar after I strained it. I started with 200 grams and added at least 5 grams of lecitihin which ends up in the product.

I made it so that 2-3 grams is a decent dose, so there was 25 grams plus left in the muslin. Last night's cup totally wrecked me, and this one is coming on hard right now.

Waste not, want not eh? Im actually not missing my vapor at all at the moment with such a kicking buzz, so lively and colourful but real knock out on top a few hours later.

Okay, feeling a lot better now! Appetite returning, basmati rice, "zuchini" (depending whereabouts you live ;)), saurkraut and organic ox liver for dinner. Yum!

Thanks for having me folks.

@WAM90 I have the crafty which I feel is a very similar vaping experience to the mighty. I feel like they both extract meds very well. I don't hook my crafty up to water and rig, so it's basically what I take on the go. The FP is what I use at home. I feel like I might miss the FP though when I am out and about using the crafty.

Thanks bro.
Yeah, I've been using the Mighty through water lately and it delivers HUGE hits. That's why I'm wondering how much better the FP would be. But is suspect it would still be significantly better.

Awesome, can you say what it will be?

Edit: Would really like to purchase it now but think I'll have to wait for the sale.

Today's coupon code is twaxvapor and is for a 10% discount.
I wouldn't be able to tell you what the holiday discounts are going to be.

I'm curious how the current showercap performs in Ti form.

I'm looking for better balance in the hand and quicker heat dissipation.

the proposed combo is less than 1/2 the weight of the stainless showercap. Less mass should cool faster.

what's you thoughts on the combo approach?
Woah this post just tripped me right out. I suddenly got the biggest sense of deja vu I have had for a very long time! I thought momentarily it was the typical surreal deja vu type experience which feels a bit like coming out of the matrix ("Wake up Keanu"), or like the realisation of a subconscious premonition.

But then I quickly came back to earth and realised it is just a case of history repeating itself! Literally, I mean haven't we been here before? The way Newvape keeps coming out with these unexpected new but highly advanced and sophistacated ideas and throwing them on the table for all to consider.

I think I actually felt a little deja vu a while back in this thread from an identical style Newvape post.
Whatever course this idea ends up taking, if it isn' t ditched (?), in 2 to 3 weeks max this will be old news and a new product will seem like it has been around for ages!
Correct me if Im wrong but isn't that exactly how things are rolling in this thread?

Proposed Flowerpot Combo Carb Cap for Discussion only.
This design allows the same carbcap to be used on both the showerhead & wraparound flowerpot heads.
Made from Grade 2 Titanium with certs.
I'm not crazy about the aesthetics but sometimes function needs to weigh more.
still just One Air Hole
Same 10-24 thread on top
I feel like it would be pretty light.

Would you pay $20 more for adjustable airflow?
I don't belive variable air control is necessary. I'd love to hear your opinions

Please leave your suggestions.

This looks great! I’m all for less tools and keeping the vape station to a minimum!

How about moving the air hole down to the second chamfer to get it more centered over the dish? I think with the air hole being so close to the center it may not work as intended with the showerhead. The air may just get sucked straight down and never hit the dish. I wouldn’t want adjustable airflow just another part to get gooey and try to keep clean but an angled hole would be welcomed.

FInally got some flower after those moon rocks. HOLY SMOKES! I thought this was a great vape when I had those but just pure flower it's on a whole other level. Currently at 550 and the flavor is right where I want it. I tried 655,615 and 600 and even 600 had a slight popcorn taste. This thing low temp is amazing. I'm not using the SC either. My rig is milking up fairly quick.

...off for more :science:

To be honest I'm hurt that NV is ditching my angled carb hole idea and the science behind it.:\:cry::cry::cry::cry: It functions so damn good. I used it on a friends quarts banger and watched it pushing that errl around nicely.

Fair enough!
Is the "Kickstand" still available? I can't find it on the site.
Keep your eye open for it in the classifieds soon. ;) It works great and when working with anything that's super hot you'll have to exercise caution. It never gets to hot to damage any surfaces it sits on.

Ahh I see.
Any recommendations for a cheap stand solution?
I plan on buying one of their stands once I get more money.

People were using soldering iron stands which are just a few dollars off amazon. Don't know how well they work, but the newvape stands are awesome. goes without saying at this point

Thank you @Chicken #420 I forgot about the side mount dabber

i love you lol AND a little spot to rest the carb cap upside down if you have the dabber on in horizontal position! awesome stuff.

Wow, off the thread for a day or so and I'm behind again.

Well, I just got my FP shower head and I'm assembling it now. Turns out that in addition to an older D-nail 20 mm barrel coil, I have a Chinese hot runner coil with four coils (perhaps much like NV's) but with an XLR connector and D-nail pin outs and so I'm going to try that first.

@Justpassedu , @steama , @stickstones and others - quick question, do you find any difference in having your coil's thermocouple on the top or the bottom?? That is, are you seeing any difference in performance based on orientation of the coil on the head?

Right now, I'm leaning toward TC to the bottom and hence closer to the load.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Can anyone else that has experience with the Mighty please tell me if they think the FP is a worthy upgrade/ goes well together with it.
Although I do LOVE the Mighty, I still need to vape a bowl or 2 to get where I want to get.
I'd REALLY like to get into some of these monster FP hits I keep hearing about.

My friend,
CAUTION!!! BE CAREFUL!!! NewVape wires their controllers and coil XLR connector pins to a different pattern than industry standard. Do NOT use NV controllers with non-NV coils, or vice-versa, without first checking connector pinout diagrams and re-wiring if necessary.

Before I start shouting from the rooftops, that 550 isnt a typo, right?!?

I checked to see which way up had more of the coil touching the dish, and went with that. I havent checked to see if theres any performance difference the other way up tho.
