Proposed Flowerpot Combo Carb Cap for Discussion only.
This design allows the same carbcap to be used on both the showerhead & wraparound flowerpot heads.
Made from Grade 2 Titanium with certs.
I'm not crazy about the aesthetics but sometimes function needs to weigh more.
still just One Air Hole
Same 10-24 thread on top
I feel like it would be pretty light.

Would you pay $20 more for adjustable airflow?
I don't belive variable air control is necessary. I'd love to hear your opinions

Please leave your suggestions.

If it's lighter than the SC I'd be interested. The SC adds too much weight to an already heavy device on a glass joint. It's one of the reasons I barely use the SC. Not worth the risk.

What does it cover though. Looks too small to make a difference.

I say stay away from the adjustable airflow. If it already works don't fix it. ;)
I say this because I've seen others go this route only to revert back to the their original designs based on function and feedback.

The new concept design here is spot on and I don't think it looks bad either. In fact it looks similar to a few others available out in the market currently.

I've used a couple of adjustable carb caps in the past and I personally like the standard non adjustable styles but that's just little old me. :2c:

I like that there will soon be Ti caps available too and I'll be purchasing them. But please do not get rid of the current caps I like them and have no issues with them. This also allows one options with prices and preference when buying. I know many that like the weight of the heavier metal in their hands.

I also with 100% confidence bet that some of the same people here will still be knocking their new lighter Ti carb caps off the tops of their FP's.

Agree 100% with Ichibaneye. Find the airflow that works well through experimentation, and make it fixed. Less to fiddle with and less to go wrong with the whole setup! :)

One of the main things I love about the FlowerPot is its rugged, reliable simplicity and lack of tacked-on "features" that only add unnecessary complexity.

Honestly, though... I feel the same way about the proposed multi-level screen "Party Bowl", but almost everyone else here seems to love the idea... so maybe you shouldn't listen to me? :D

Hi Guys, Im looking into this vape. Would I need a carb cap if Im only gonna be using it for flowers? Would it be beneficial in any way? Id prefer not to buy one if I dont have to cause money is tight right now.

current weight on stainless showercap is 1.6 oz
proposed titanium combo cap is .32 oz
WOW I was not expecting such a difference.
these numbers are without dabbers attached.
I'll bet money too that the marriage of the Ti Carb caps to the Ti dabbers is that much better and tighter based on the fact the two are of the same metal now.

I like the combo. It also again allows a consumer another choice to choose from in your line up. I second @Chicken #420 thoughts on the plunger only style. A from the side attachment would be a great thing to incorporate into the design. So making it with both vertical and horizontal dabber attachment options would be great.

NO, it is not needed out of the gate. :) But just get the damn thing! You'll be paying for shipping again later when you purchase it. Because that will happen, you'll want it. So save that extra cost now. :2c:

Hey friends, new to the forum.
I recently purchased a Mighty, and I've been blown away by it. Thought my VAS was taken care of for the next little while until I came across the FP. :uhoh:

I've read through basically the entire thread to get more familiar with it. Definitely some interesting stuff going on here.

Anyways, just wanted to say hello.
Welcome to the thread and the NV crazy train!

I think that new design looks great @NewVape710 , The titanium Carb caps are going to be awesome. Light weight is always better , does the stainless or ti retain more heat is what i am wondering. As for directional airflow in a carb cap's , my personal preference is it is not needed but always helpful to have. I have used a couple of friends setups and they have directional airflow glass carb caps that are clear and when used they move them around and you can see the actual concentrate moving in different directions and hitting the right spots to achieve a full vaporization if i am saying that correctly , it is definitely very helpful and works from what i have tried and seen.

I think the next step is offering everything in 24k gold or platinum haha , i know i'd make a purchase.

Please read through the thread a bit , we have discussed this many times and opinions vary. You will also find a great wealth of info and it is highly suggested , than come back with any questions. My opinion is yes , get the carb cap in short.

Welcome , The Mighty is great but the Fp really kicks ass. I gotta enable a little bit also, grab it we all promise you will love it and it hits harder and is way more efficient than the Mighty.

Thanks, Justpassedu.
Agh, you're making this very difficult LOL.
I LOVE the look of this thing.
Well made, machined metal, parts get me all excited downstairs...

No... just a humble user of the world's greatest desktop vape, doing my part to help spread the good word! :D

You'll "enable" yourself, trust me. ;)

LOL, fack.

Would be VERY interested in you taking one for the team and trying flower (as a double decker). I think you might be the only person in this thread using sapphire. I'm very very curious as I'd get the wrap-around if your results were as good as I expect.

Peer pressure  in the name of :science: !!!

I'll give it a shot tonight and report back. I went to bed 2 hours late last night because I took that rip, was laying in bed vibrating so hard I had to get back out of bed for a while. Gotta love sativas. Word to wise, no mickey kush in the evening.

Nice to see another sapphire user @psychonaut glad your enjoying the flavour. For flavour and I'm talking from my very limited experience with my halo (literally three dabs so far until tomorrow night) it's not just the increased flavour it's smoother too, adding to the flavour if that makes sense. I find there's more to try and pick out flavour wise as well? Hitting mine about 630f and for me it needs upping at least 20f for thickness with herbs, dabs are ok at that temp but I think 650 or higher will be better imo.

I have the wrap round and sapphire halo from dnail @Danksta so he's not alone :). I've only had experience with the 16mm wrap round, 16mm coil with either a SiC dish or sapphire. So far I'm trying to dial in my temps to my liking. We can both take one for the FP team :brow:.

Like the new "top hat" carb cap @NewVape710 so that would be compatable with everything in the current FP lineup ? Quite like the aesthetics actually, like how it steps down bit by bit, curvy and sleek ;).

lmao , don't get to excited down there. It would for sure make the perfect companion to the Mighty man coming from someone who owns one. You would have one of the best portables and for sure the best desk top around .

I mostly vape flowers, but occasionally (maybe a few times a month) will use concentrates as well.
Would you say the vaping experience is significantly superior to the Mighty? Enough to justify owning both? (I would need to keep the Mighty or buy a cheaper portable to have something for on the go as well)

Thank you. I don't want to always be the only guy here pointing this out.

As stated in the forum rules. READ THE THREADS. You'd be surprised at what you'll learn.

Its the opposite of enabling, its more like an intervention or being saved ;)

LOL well then I apologize, thank you all for saving my life.
Seriously though, you guys are making it very hard to resist.
I've got all of the parts in my shopping cart.... My finger is shaking as it hovers over the mouse button, unsure if it wants to hit "Purchase".
I should really be looking up the number to an addiction clinic, because I'm addicted to fricken vapes.

I personally find that the FlowerPot complements my own portable choice (Sticky Brick Jr.) quite nicely. I would say definitely consider the FP as a desktop option to pair with your portable, I have not felt the need for anything more or better since I bought my pair! :)

That's what this thread is for... the FlowerPot is THE cure for VAS! :D
