I would be happy to "finance" it for you, meaning I order it to your address and you pay me via Paypal when you have the money. You are a great guy - from what I can tell - and I would hate to see you without the sandblasted M!

Legend

Edit: Can someone post a picture of the new M's stem & cap with a Ti-tip

The photo has been taken after approx. 10 sessions. There is a color change, it gets a bit brownish, but it's not as severe as with the normal caps, as it seems. Time will show, I guess.
That's what I'm talking about. Super cool people around here

I also prefer the original.

However, I would love to see @VapCap engineer an all steel/titanium nonavong; and utilise the matte sandblasting for the ground glass attachment half of the body whilst keeping the rest glossy metallic - including tip and cap.

It may even improve the seal and be functional instead of purely aesthetic, I mean glass blowers must use ground glass on the attachments for a reason right? Can anyone enlighten as it’s not something I’ve ever thought to question before now.

I’m so vaked

Hmmm... interesting thought. I believe lots of glass blowers buy the joints, not make them? Most scientific glass is frosted/ground at the joints, and this is where it mostly comes from i believe.

Not sure of the reasoning though... Maybe to create a better barrier. More watertight.

From what i have experienced with both frosted and unfrosted joints is the frosted joints seems to create more friction which can cause glass to stick together more easily. At least that's what i have experienced...

But i have also only ever owned 1 unfrosted joint. An 18mm slide from Joda. Never got stuck like my frosted slides... Now it's possible this friction could also work to create a tighter seal. ?

Or Maybe it makes it tougher?

I’ve just had a quick google and it’s to create a watertight seal during chemical reactions to ensure nothing escapes from a closed system experiment/process. Makes sense.

One new thing I did learn though is that scientists usually grease the joint. The stuff they use is toxic though so I googled more and found this product:

http://www.synche.com/shop/toob-loob-water-pipe-lubricant/

Who knew! Might get some, although I suspect any organic oil would be safe; such as vegetable, coconut or even hemp/bees wax. More googling required it seems.

Just so long as people don’t start using sebum, like some members discussed for polishing wood bodies!

Oh I bet that that would be one heavy Vong. Remember this one from spring last year???

The VonG gets heavy....

I had totally forgot about that! It looks awesome! Didn’t George say he may make more? We just need to create a demand and I’m sure he’d be happy to supply. There goes my money again!

Yeah I gotcha. The link was definitely misleading.
Frankly, I think the link was literal, not at all misleading. They sent an email to registered customers, which clearly explained the 24 HR advance window for those identified. My alarm is set for 0100 here on the East Coast. VAS is inexorable!

Edit: 0112 HRS, 2 ordered and confirmed:cheers:

I have no idea why, but I don't seem to have gotten the email. It's moot, as I have no budget for goodies right now, but it IS odd...

I think I'll go eat some worms... :)

When I go to the site and log in I don't see the sandblasted version. But, since I saw it here I'm good to go. Sometime, when they are not in the middle of a rollout, I will check in with them. Wouldn't want to miss any deals, after all. :o

No email for me either. :(

I am registered. Hope i don't miss out...
dont forget to subscribe, too - they aren't the same, I think

Damn. I want this.

Just ordered an extra backup M earlier this month... Not sure how to make this Mx happen... I live on military disability and get paid once a month... Surprise purchases that are not budgeted in beforehand are nearly impossible...

They might not last until November 1st though... Hmmm... I will have to work some magic or sell some random crap quick... Anyone want to buy random crap?:haw:

I hear you on the financial limitations, I am not limited to, but do depend on, a monthly myself.

Dude, that's the kind of thing that reminds me I once had faith in people...thank you

You've just discovered as have so many before you, that Dynavap; George and his team, provides a level of Customer Service rarely experienced. And not just compared to other vape companies but any company. Orriod.

This is exactly why I encourage people to read the Vapcap thread from the beginning. Stories of George's extraordinary generosity are sprinkled throughout the pages. Not only will you come away knowing that this is a company you want to do business with, you will come away with your faith in the humanity restored. Reading the Vapcap thread just makes you feel good. Everything about Vapcaps is uplifting.

It really is a great read, the tale of it all, and the players as they (we) enter - it's an experience worth allowing yourself.

I just did subscribe! I got the email before subscribing but figure this way i won't miss anything!

The monthly was really difficult on me for a few years... Its my only income and I was always the type of person to spend money the day i get it... But after a few years i learned to really stick to my budget. Its not always easy and i dont live glamorous... But all in all I'm happy.

Only a few minutes left before Dynavap website gets flooded! :D
