Hurry up Ed!!! But on the topic of water vs no water, I agree it's not for everyone & that you can definitely get bigger clouds going through a WT, but it's something cool to throw in the mix for sure. I'm not saying I'll be using the Sup dry all the time, but more than I was before for sure.

@biohacker Cool piece! I just ordered a 14mm showerhead perc ash catcher from DHG. Gonna hook it up w/ my 14mm j-hook. If I end up digging this setup, I'm toying with the idea of getting a dope ass j-hook from Oregon Glass Blower & a couple different ash catchers w/ different percs for when I wanna go through water. We'll see!

Just been thinking about the Dually, and these are just my personal feelings and thoughts... I think it's a bad business plan to discontinue the product of the single stem sv3. At $150 the single sv3 is a very affordable, powerful vaporizer, that seems to fit the needs of even the highest tolerance user. It kinda bums me out that this option won't be possible anymore, and now potential customers are given the option of having to shell the extra $50 for an extra stem that they made never use/need. I still, even after some reviews fail to see the benefit of the dually and even see some disadvantages.

It just seems to me, that the Dually should be the rare novel supreme model, that some people will want to shell a little extra for, but it shouldn't replace the singular. It will hurt sales IMO. Then again, maybe the singular was due for a price bump to $175 anyway, due to its popularity soaring, all because of FC and word of mouth.

Ed - please don't kill the butane singular! Unless you're releasing the electric singular this year!

Each time i take my supreme V3 in my vape closet , i have some stickers on the glass door received with some vape/part (like sticktbrick, Herborizer, Grasshopper, etc...) i thought why Ed didn't create a logo ,(like sticktbrick, Herborizer, Grasshopper, etc...).

We could have something like that; The Supreme power is a mix between Superman & Batman:

Or

I made some shitty "logo" (with paint :x) maybe someone with better skill & software can make something nice with Superman "S" or with the two image above:razz::

Couldn't agree more... would be a real shame for the single stem ver to not exist. And I still don't get the dually either :hmm:

The single ver is well worth the $175 figure... especially if Ed includes a J hook (as he's been doing recently)...

they say im crazy but i have a good time
@biohacker can't wait to see how the FP stacks up, especially in the effectivity department. I am fundless but still so tempted by Newvape's product line. Go away VAS! I'm sure it will find it's way to me some day.

...imo yes the FP (showerhead probably more so) does stand up to the efficiency of the SV3!!! when i first got my fp i pictured it as an electric sv3...

forever waiting on the mailman
this is how i got my supreme, and i'm in love already (it's been 3 hours)

i emailed ed on september 14th asking for an invoice, saying I wanted a dually thanks to @WakeAndVape. he got back to me four days later saying he was sorry for being late, he's really busy. no big deal - anyway, he asks what state i live in, told him i live in canada and he sends me my invoice after another three days.

for those who lost track (like me), i ended up ordering it on september 21st. three days later, came tracking number. eight days later it's dropped off with usps. thanks to canadian thanksgiving being this weekend and me living as far east as canada goes, shipping took nine days.

that's a grand total of 27 days between my first email, and having the supreme in my hands, it's been a long wait. but worth it. this fucker costs $300 CAD plus a torch and shit, but that's worth it too. the burns i already got - worth. you get the idea.

when i got it, the thermometer wouldn't turn on and for the life of me i can't figure out how to get the red seals on the bowl (already broke one of three :bang:). i took the battery out and put it back, somehow it magically worked so i decided to just use the 18mm j-hook instead of my 14mm bong i use with my dynavap. loaded it with pineapple express i had just trimmed the night before from the harvest, and i'm absolutely zonked. this thing is unreal.

one bowl through this puppy at ~165C feels like a whole session from my M. not to say i don't love that little guy too, they both have their place in my heart.

long story short - anyone know how the hell to get those red seals on?
also this is my first post, hi everyone.

FUCK yes! yea you gotta be careful with the red seals...id say make sure they aren't too cold or dry, I rubbed a little coconut oil on mine when I was having issues (almost sliced it pushing top down).

but what I do isqigglr it over onehalf and slowly wiggle it over the other...there may be easier ways? but I'm not with the sacrifice!

J-hook my favorite way...the water lessens the punch imo

i managed to use some beeswax from my dynavap kit and a metal rod of sorts to slide it on. it has some cuts in it, but it works for now. thanks again my dude.

and i agree about the jhook so far, but it is definitely more hot which i could see how some people couldn't handle.

tomorrow i'm going to trim and surprise my buddies with it, i showed them your review but told them it was too expensive. so much for that :D

I just tried the S3 with my tool but no water. Well, very nice, definitely a differently pronounced effect and flavor, was not harsh on my throat at all although I found no water a little awkward just because I'm not used to it (no cool bubbling sound plus I think water movement adds to the suction strength).

Exactly! I noticed a massive difference, and without water it just didn't "feel" right. And the vape milks so differently...kinda cool actually.
Guys, this made me laugh! The first time I hit my large Verdamper dry, it was by total mistake- and it tripped me RIGHT OUT (for a few seconds), I couldn't undersrand what was happening, it was so weird without the water and the noise.

I finally twigged of course, not sure if before or AS I took in some of the vapor. But one thing though, it was hot and harsh as fuck! Never again, it was a fairly aggressive vape on the lungs anyway.

When I very briefly owned the Supreme, I used a pen to push the red seal over it and stretch it open, then line it up and sort of slide it onto the bowl. You just need the right fitting pen. I think I had to modify it slightly to make it work, I had other pens that didn't work as well.

Ideally go to a pen store and walk around seeing which ones will match up with the bowl and taper off smoothly for the seal to slide safely onto the bowl. And while you are there, maybe have a bowl or two as well!

:rofl:I never understood why so many have trouble getting the red seal on. I always just stretched it out, hooked half on one side of the bowl & then stretched the other side over in a circular motion.

@frediddler So cool to hear you got a Supreme! Like @Gray Area said, you don't need to use the red seal going into a 14mm female joint. And you could just use a 18/14mm reducer to use it that way w/ 18mm pieces.

If you do want to use the seals, @Buildozer came up w/ a way where you put the white 18mm seal on 1st, pull it up a little, & then put the 14mm seal on, & what this does is give a better seat when using the Supreme w/ 14mm female joints. It's way nicer than using the red 14mm seal alone. Night & day difference.

Concentrate sandwiches. Just do it!

this is exactly what i ended up doing, worked like a charm.

ed didn't accept CONUS as payment though

i added an 18mm silicone behind the 14 and it works like a charm now, didn't really feel right before.

Because they are a bit inflexible to stretch and prone to tearing. When hooking half on one side of the bowl, and then stretching, I found it super easy to catch on the sharp aluminum stem edge and once cut, it was as good as garbage. Regardless, I never liked the fit compared to bare, even with the 18+14 combo, my preference has always been no grommet, just bare silicone to 14mm adapter into my 18mm water tool.

Perhaps one of @Ratchett 's universal silicone adapters could help? Not cheap but very versatile and helpfully.

BTW what's the current state of the glass bowls from @PeteSeattle ? A dead project?

Rather just stick a glass reducer on the silicone than stick that aluminum tube into the silicone, but that's just me. I absolutely can't stand silicone.

Yeah Pete was having some personal stuff going on so I think it's all on hold until he expresses interest again. Shame, the beta gong adapter is tits, just needs that slighter larger diameter tube and it will be the best stem out there for the sv3 IMO.

Missing the sv3 vape siggy already! Been having some sleeping issues since switching to full convection only. Sv3 is such a great before bedtime vaporizer! That radiant and conductive heat just pull out those sleep inducing cannabinoids (CBN?)

I'd be willing to shell out some good money to beta test the electric sv3! Hi Ed!:tup:

I think the stonier experience is due to degradation and pre-decarbing of the main substance from conduction/radiation during the heat up . This shifts the balance in favor of the more heat stable compounds like CBN and others. Imo degradation is the reason why some people feel more stoned from smoking than from vaping..(also the slowed metabolism due to the numerous toxins that enter your system, also plays a role ofc) .Another thing that you can also hear from numerous members that conduction gets them more stoned and less high compared to convection vapes :).
--------------------

Electric supreme sounds really cool ,but i really want to see a Titanium version or why not Ti-electric version ! :))
-----------------------------------------------

Wanted to add that Imo the reason that supreme hits feel so much like a rosin dab is due the melting/liquifying of the trichome heads prior inhale ;).

+1! I would actually be very interested in a Ti Supreme, I would have no issues being reliant on the torch either. During my brief trials, it really wasn't inconvenient, despite my initial apprehensions before use.

And to be honest, it was part of the fun and spectacle. Just as long as it is not my only vape, with a decent desktop on hand, I would enjoy the variety of heating methods.

I am sure the Ti is exceptionally unlikely, but I could see it being way more popular than the dually.

@biohacker , maybe it will do you good to acclimate back to the more cerebral, less sedative convection experience for a while? Particularly when it is time for your next T-break, which may be easier to adjust to.

Either way, you are being led down this road currently, hopefully you will reap some unexpected benefits, and more!:)
