I'm in on the Fury 2! Pretty excited, but also a bit nervous. My only real concern is that the vapour is going to be too hot because of a short vapour path.

From my experience, the cooling unit on the Crafty helps me with the close oven on that one, but my friend's Goboof Alpha and Boundless CFC are both too hot for me. I don't find the short mouthpiece on an Arizer Air too bad though.

Can anyone compare the vapour temperature on the Fury 2 to any of the above, or just comment generally about their experiences with that?
I don't think you should be concerned. My Crafty comparison is from memory, but I have to say I was surprised how cool this vape is on intake. You barely realize the material is being vaped.

The only warmth I've felt was on the outside of the mouthpiece after back-to-back pulls (sharing). Even then, the vapor itself was barely noticeable; mostly on exhale.

Personally, I think this vape is solid and a great value.

I second that!!

Only three Vapes I haven't needed glass/water filtration were ghost mv1 and the fury 2 and cfv.. not hot/harsh at all. Even on 430 your lips get a little warm but the vapor is still manageable and a great stand alone vape. The wpa is nice because all though the vape has some conduction heating going on you can preheat, pop the glass wpa into the fury and rip for a mostly convection extraction .. I also like starting on 320 and bump up the temps. That way after no more draws on the low temp I can continue to draw to cool the oven and place my cover over the top for later.

...used this method multiple times this weekend bar hopping. GREAT stealthy portable.

Congrats on your Fury 2, you won't regret it. I have found the vapours to be surprisingly smooth, even with the short vapour path.

If you are like me, I think you'll be AMAZED at how cool the Furys' vapor is compared to the other vapes you've asked about! I usually temp step from 355F to 365F to 375F and the vapor quality, both temp and taste, is remarkable!

My WPA arrived on the weekend and so far im loving it (still using Fury1). I'm fairly new to WPAs and all the stuff so i wondered: Is it absolutely necessary to remove the WPA from the Fury before it shuts down/cools off? I was too scared so far to just try it out (maybe something would break....) and these concerns are kinda annoying when handling WPA + Perculator etc.... I know the WPA would get stuck when the chamber cools down, but if you could just heat it up again to remove the WPA without dire consequences later after use, I would feel much more secure to use it right now :D:D

Hi @Bonkers420 , I was also curious.

Tested. Left stem in after session. Let it cool for 30 minutes. Tried pulling stem, nope, stuck.

Turned it on, could pull it out a few seconds after warmup.

No harm done. Except to my fingers when I stupidly touched the hot end of the glass.
(I didn't take a draw, so the conduction contribution to this hybrid tech works quite well)

Your expectations are a little high for a vaporizer, @ataxian. Or maybe you're just a really high?

Arrgh!

Claiming to ship via Priority, my email confirming shipping on my Fury 2 now says first class mail, which means a week or so as I am across the country.

These folks are not exactly consistent with their attention to customer service. If you say priority in your check out, then you need to ship priority. People make plans and they don't need them screwed up by a lack of attention to details on the part of other folks.

I literally just went through this with @HealthyRips.com ... I thought it would take longer then 3 days and was mistaken. Be patient it is worth the 2-3 day waiting period ...

I got the Fury 2 today, Monday was a holiday so I'm quite pleased with the speed!

Been messing around with it and now I kinda want one for myself :) very nice hand feel to it, easy to operate, haven't tried anything psychoactive but used some CBD flower and it vapes very, very well! Can't comment in flavor as this variety is kinda....well, very muted in the flavor department as I've experienced with other vapes, but I will try some Tangie soon and report back.

I did the burn off for a few cycles, still some synthetic flavors remain. I loaded it with the CBD variety and let it sit at full 430F for a session, emptied it out, and the herb was quite thoroughly cooked, despite no forced air flow. Good to know as I didn't expect this, thinking the Fury 2 was purely convection.

The ease of use for this vape is gonna be killer for my girlfriend; press the power button three times, wait for the vape to get to temp, and pull. Press three times to turn off.

I do wish there was a temperature lock, so accidental presses don't change the temp, something a neophyte user or Luddite may not be comfortable adjusting again.

Hey @HealthyRips.com ...

Is there a way to check the status of you battery life (how much charge is remaining), or do you just have to wait until it's too late?
It is on the display, to the left:

Incidentally, why do the instructions warn against using the vape while it charges?
Edit: ah, you can't do anything about it, if it is charging you can't turn the oven on, moot point!

That would be the conduction provided from the air heating up the chamber which in turn does cook your herb a little. Another thing that ceramic would solve but I'm pretty sure it's designed this way to give you the best vapor until hardware moves forward a bit and can give us the best hits without any conduction.

Honestly I bought this vape to use strictly as a walking-around-town vape but of course I've been putting it through the paces at home first. The flavor with the WPA is much better than with the mouthpiece.

And performance with the WPA through a larger piece is outstanding! I realized the size of my bubbler was actually a limiting factor in my mission to one-hit a full WPA bowl. I switched over to a small beaker bong and I'm getting way closer. Bigger is better sometimes I guess.

I do hate using a portable with an in-built battery at home so much since it's going to shorten the battery life when I need it most..... But this thing is really fun to play with! Replaceable batteries are the only thing that would make this little powerhouse any better. Capsules - yes, capsules - as everyone else has said!

To top it all off, I think the Fury can definitely pass for a standard 'all-in-one' e-cig for security purposes at concerts, arenas, etc. With a clean mouthpiece I don't think you'd get a second glance. If anything the silicone cover makes it look more suspicious??

Another experiment I am running - I fit an Underdog basket screen (large) inside of the stainless mouthpiece screen to catch fines and build up reclaim. It seems to be progressing pretty nicely.

I put one of the UD small basket screen on the other side of the blue gasket. Keeps the Scooby outta the mp

I think we are talking about the same area. I used the basket screens that I use in the gongs, which are the larger of the two underdog screens.

Got mine, breaking it in, definitely see the appeal. Super tiny and seems pretty efficient. I tried to soak all the silicone but since the glass piece won't fit to come out I could get to the one against the mouthpiece, still gave a quick soak attached. Its still got a bit of a new smell and taste in the back, but definitely better than most! Tried a couple bowls with a high cbd strain myself for starters. Will be back with more later

Girlfriend loved it last night, it is perfect for her.

I tried the WPA and while it fit well it wasn't very snug. Flavor seemed similar to the regular mouthpiece, which for Tangie was a delicious citrusy blast. After 2 pulls subtle taste and typical ABV scents remained, consistent with my other vape experiences. If I block the air intake at the bottom of the unit and inhale through the wpa I can get a low but noticable flow of air which I believe is coming from around the wpa glass::vape connection (not the wpa::water piece junction, I have made that super tight with some thin silicone). I also noticed that I can push hard on the WPA and there some springy give on it or the oven, I can't tell. I don't think I should be doing that :ko:

I actually was using the glass wpa last night before bed. I brought it up to temp (430f) and when I inserted the wpa I got NOTHING. Oh geez! Blocking the airhole haha. Took my pinky off and HOLY CLOUDS! Biggest rip off the fury and the flavor was AWESOME! Only got 2 more lighter clouds after that initial lung buster but wow.

Don't underestimate the fury. Unleash it.

For real I'm not trying to be corney I just love this thing .

Mine had a new flavor.. just the blue part of the silicone tho. The mp itself didn't have much of any flavor.. it does stink we can't take that glass tube out to soak but a quick swab with a lightly dampened iso qtip worked great .. since adding the basket screen to the other side of the blue silicone I've noticed the mp has stayed a lot cleaner.
