On top of the $335 I had to pay. Haha awesome!

Received with DHL in Italy ...0 tax
I have many vaporizers (how you can see on my signature) but this is a 'next level' unit... IMO

Can anyone point me to the actual guarantee? On a quick look, I can't find it. I assume it is because it might have been mentioned in the review rather than put in writing, but, I don't know. As to an "extended" buyback period, that might be tough to enforce legally to those who already purchased the vape. While an argument can be made they did not exercise their right to turn it in for buyback earlier based on the extension (aka in legal jargon "consideration"), that's all it is, an argument. Depending on all the facts, such an extension might not be considered a contract. One might go about protecting their rights based on @AtMyVakeSale understanding by using the proper contact mentioned in any buyback contract/warranty/guarantee and make it clear you want to return it at this time (If that is what you want to do.) but are willing to not use your legal option if the understanding is correct. (That the buyback is extended until a week after the app is generally available.)

You have to message @VCBud and either get into contact with him here or become a member of his forum.. I don't think he is offering the buyback to everyone. Just those who bought the ghost through his referral link back in July... I messaged him through pm on vlf

Thank you for the answer. I wasn't really asking for me as I'm not going to purchase this vape. (Not because of anything specifically related to this vape, but because I've decided to never buy any vape using an app. [Never being a relative term based on public acceptance of cannabis usage--medical or otherwise and the overall functionality as related to app usage.]) It was more to help protect fellow FC members' legal rights.

I can confirm I also have uneven cooking of material. Also is it just me or is it annoying to remove material from the chamber?
I find using any standard pick tool (including the ones supplied from Ghost) thats its pretty simple. The top screen getting clogged from residue is a big issue but I think its been pretty covered that a crucible redesign is needed

The crucible is the thing that really bugs me the most about this whole vape... I mean i'm probably still gonna get one once the app is released and its finally revealed whether the charring is bad software or defective units etc but...

- If the vape truly doesn't need stirring, then there is no reason for the lid not clipping onto the crucible instead of being loose and a pain in the arse.

- If the vape does need stirring, even if once only... there is no reason for the crucible to be designed that way... i don't understand how VC can be brought in as a consultant yet the crucible didn't get changed (I know he said not everything he suggested got changed but if your gonna bring in a consultant at least do what he says, there's no way it wasn't mentioned)... its such a limiting factor for such a high priced and performance rated vape and really shouldn't be all that difficult to solve... (Hinge the lid off the crucible or heat sink, add an incorporated stir stick like with mighty and your set...or just don't make the lid out of a material that will hold heat that well...)

a big part of the buzz/hype (to me at least) about this vape was Bud's review, in which he claimed that, without stirring, the ABV was 90+ % vaped. maybe the fact that this isn't what a lot of people are experiencing is due to app issues, but Bud's experience wouldn't have led him to recommend a crucible re-design.

For those of you looking to microdose, that's the beauty of on-demand heating...every bowl is a microdose. Just fill it, hit it and come back later for your next hit. No spacer needed, just time between hits.

As for uneven cooking, my standard is what the Mighty kicks out...perfectly even, dark tan abv every time without stirring.

I have two MV-1's here and they both tunnel, so the app problem is probably pretty widespread (count your blessings, @ShayWhiteGrow !). I suggest we all just sit tight and wait for the app, and then enjoy. In the meantime it works very well with concentrates!

My point was more... if buds experience led him to believe it doesn't need stirring then why not recommend the lid clip on to basically remove all crucible insertion issues? (And such a thing really shouldn't of been all that difficult to achieve)

To be clear, I find it difficult to believe he wouldn't or didn't suggest that to Ghost, its a such stupid design whether it does or doesn't need stirring, what happens if you drop it? etc. Its more a criticism of Ghost that it was still released that way with him consulting... I mean it can't be difficult or even expensive to get the lid to stay on, but maybe I'm missing something who knows...

Either way this app needs to get released already (wasn't it supposed to be out by this week/weekend?)... just got paid and i'm buying a new vape in next few days regardless, really hoping it'll be the mv1 rather than the omnivong vapcap...

Those are two very different vapes you're considering!

The MV1 is like my dream vape, I suffer from insomnia / broken sleep and my job is a rotating shift pattern (6am-2pm x2, 2-10pm x2, 10-6am x2, 4 days off) and need a way to get back to sleep or get stoned again to help me drift off to sleep, however I also have super sensitive lungs/throat to vapor, I struggle to toke off mighty even at low temps without running it through water, MV1 seems to be the answer to my issue, cool yet potent vapor, on demand and 1 button so I can just reach out to grab it without dealing with any light from a LCD screen etc or a long heat up time.

Omni vong is just to complete collection (Herbo Ti, Mighty) with a non battery option for when i'm out or at a mates yet still easily able to microdose with adjustable tip, or use with water due to body shape and with the omni consender adjusting air to vapor ration combined with the degummed hemp fibre as a filter should hopefully let me hit it dry without too many issues.

On topic about the MV1 specifically though, does anyone know if the app will let you change the temps on the fly (change between setting 1-5 etc)? Or just set what temp each level uses and lock vape if lost or kids near etc?

This company is really sure the app will fix all these issues. I never seen quite a guarantee like they've been giving on VC forum. The backlash will sure be something else if this guarantee doesn't pull through. I hope they pull through on their promise.

Which member was it that made the (controversial) video of the off gassing with the flashlight in a dark room? I want to thank you for showing us that method; I tried it last night with both my Davinci IQ & Pax 2, and they both showed significant off gassing. This should be the industry standard (FC member) way of checking that, thanks again

Yes, @Gibarian, thanks for that! I'm going to try that with every vape I have; we all should.. It's been a dose of reality for me...

Here we go again.

No, no, no

This is a just simple showing of respect for a member who came up with a system that can be used to check all vapes. That's all. Try it!

Hey, I didn't double post!!

No. Haha

But seriously, far more harmful gasses that come from my butt after eating broccoli and brussel sprouts

... I understand people have sensitive lungs...I would advise those people to stick to edibles since the benefit does not outweigh the risk in those cases.

Ok, I no longer have the mv1 so unless anyone has a question I could answer with my limited knowledge of the device or ghost comes up with a new cruicible this one's checked off my list.

This comes from ghost vape guy Patrick.

"After downloading the firmware update, you will experience a dramatic improvement in performance across the board. Battery life will be extended and you will experience the same level of performance at any level of charge. The device will be far more forgiving in terms of draw technique and you shouldn't experience charring at any level. ABV will be very uniform with no need for stirring. When using the App you will be able to adjust the temperature in 1 degree increments on levels 4&5. Experimentation with temperature, heat levels and stem adjustments will allow you to customize and find your own perfect setting..."

Are you doing this with your used Pax 2 and IQ or are these brand new units? If it's used, it is probably just crumbs of AVB and built up resin from all you previous sessions.
