Source Orb Pen Vape

I figured it out with temp control! TC Ni 410f+ at 14w and locked resistance at .8ohm. Lovely vapor production but needs a 4-5 second heat up. With only 1/4th of an air flow hole open.

Does anyone use the Orb/Slim 4 with a Tesla Stealth 40W boxmod?

It makes an incredibly tiny package, but threading the Orb/Slim into the boxmod is difficult. Most of the time I can't thread it tight enough for the atomizer to be recognized by the boxmod. Once tight, it's nearly impossible to remove the Orb since it's so slippery and there's nothing to grip.

Just curious if anyone has found any tools or methods to make make it easier to screw it on or remove it. As is, it's nearly unusable and I switched back to my iStick Pico.

Hi guys,

We have a new XL Series atomizer we're excited to show you:

SOURCE core

SOURCE_core_all_ceramic_atomizer_black_ceramic_white_ceramic_xl_series_SOURCE_orb_xl_source_nail_xl_grande_138547ec-7dc8-4fe9-a853-4408a107ed8e.jpg

We packed a large black ceramic Terra Core, which is then encased by a ceramic cup that heats up around evenly for flavorful hits. This allows you to absorb more material or liquids, while retaining flavor with bigger hits.

Some of you might remember looked different when we first announced it. Basically, we couldn't find any ceramic miracle-style insert that met our quality standards for our upgraded piece. Most you could see how brittle the ceramic was by just pulling the metal out and getting dust, and those we did test, came back at ~ 50% alumina purity.

We decided to start from scratch and build our own.

SOURCE core atomizers will be shipping and available to purchase this week, as well as included in some of our new upcoming XL Series products.

Hi guys,

We got more new stuff we're excited to release:

SOURCE orb XL 2

SOURCE_orb_XL_2_Travel_Kit_quad_coil_510_source_core_coil_less_source_nail_quartz_coil_less_vape_pen.jpg

This a 510 version of our SOURCE orb XL, and comes with 3 new atomizers.

  • XL Series Quad Coil
  • XL Series SOURCE core
  • 4 Series SOURCE nail Max (10mm) - Quartz
The new SOURCE nail Max Quartz atomizer is the newest Version 2 (v2) iteration of our 4 Series SOURCE nail coil-less atomizers.

They have an upgraded heating element that completely covers the bottom of the bucket, designed specifically to pair with SOURCE volt Max or other box mods.

It's available as a Travel Kit or a standalone 510 Attachment.

The new atomizers will also be available for sale individually, with our new Max available next week in 1-Pack.

Questions:

Is the nail max available separately?
I could not find outside of the kit.

Does this disassemble like the other nail atomizers?
Does this leak oil, like the other nails do?

My Source Orb4 nails leak like CRAZY... Oil runs up the walls, down the threading, and pools at the bottom of the orb adapter.

Yes, it will be available for sale separately next week.

Yes, all SOURCE nail atomizers have removable buckets.

If you're getting oil leaking, we recommend using much less material, as well as allowing ample time to vaporizer prior to inhaling.

Think of it exactly like a tabletop nail or banger. If the material has not vaporized, when you inhale, it'll go down the glass stem.

Gravity is your friend. Hold that thing close to vertical to take a hit.
A lot of people hit it closer to horizontal like a joint/cig, which will lead to the mess you describe.

Sorry for the double post, can't figure out how to edit my posts lol.

Source has their nail XL kit listed at $35 (50% off) and then an extra 40% off for columbus day sale!!

Honestly it's worth it just for the coils that come with it (series 4 one of each of the TI, ceramic, and quartz buckets)

Snagged one for $28 including shipping lol

I decided to bite the bullet as well since the sale was to good to pass up.

I'm wanting a different glass attachment sad to see all of their other options were sold out... I also would have liked to try out the new $10 pen.

I have used a Dr Dabber boost in the past which the first editions of those were so bad quality wise I am anxious to see how this stacks up seeing as you can swap atomizers and the new XXL line looks fantastic I wanted to jump on a quartz bucket one but didn't have the money.

A quick question for @SOURCEvapes are the atomizers that are going to be coming with these XL nail orders during the sale the older kind with the outer screw on top or the inner?

I'm curious as to what it is, the silhouette looks like the Slim 4 to me so possibly just a bigger/smaller version of that?

Can SOURCE please tell us the outer diameter of the Slim 4 XL? Curious to know if it will fit certain boxmods like the Tesla.

Since you never got an answer, my kit came with the inner screw ones (i had to use my nail to get it loose at first) lol. I've been using the TI bucket for now (22w-24w) and its really nice. i dont wanna break the quartz one though, wish i could buy just replacement buckets.

And it came with the quartz carb that was broken in the box (everything is squeezed in the box really tightly)

ohhhhh and Mine came with the little glass globe piece aswell, the glass is pretty thick (I've been using it as my daily driver)

Sorry for the double post, but does anyone know if the series 4 coils that come with the source nailXL can be soaked in ISO?
Not the bucket, but the piece the bucket sits in that heats up. i must overfilled my bucket and had some reclaim bubble over the bucket

also, does anyone know if the 7mm donuts from DVT can be used to replace the donuts in the series 4?
https://ineedhemp.com/product/ceramic-donut-coils/

and if so, which would be better 0.8ohm or 1.5ohm?

anddddddd, does anyone know what size the glass globe is that came with the nailXL? looking to pick up an extra/spare

Has anyone wished for the advantages of their SiC eNail home rig ....

... but in either a:

1. Superstealth waxpen
Or
2. Super portable battery powered eRig with a collapsible bubbler attachment ?

Please peep the blurred out font below my friends:

I'm HYPE for this sh!t!

Question for Source:
1. Will this new SiC SourceNail fit in my Orb4 and Slim4 ? Or do I have to get a new SLIM XL to house the new SiC SourceNail atomizer ?

2. Does it still feature the same easily Removable/replaceable dish style as the original Quartz SourceNail ?

3. Can the new SiC operate perfectly around 3-4v with a stock Orb4 or Slim4 battery ? Or does it need a bigger mod?

4. Of it requires a bigger mod, will source feature an inHouse SourceBranded mod with true temp control to work seamlessly to produce true pore temps between 320-390 accurately with as little variation as possible with this SiC SourceNail ?

2. I REALLY HOPE THEY DO AWAY WITH THE REMOVABLE BUCKETS.

I've never used anything that leaked worse... oil goes up the walls of the bucket, and down the retaining threads at the top. Even with the smallest of amounts, I find these buckets are a mess.

If they'd seal better at the top then they'd work perfectly imo. But do you know if the bottom (the coil part the bucket sits in) can be soaked in iso? Trying to get rid of the tons of reclaim sitting in there lol

It is a huge, nasty, sticky design flaw.

I was so excited when these buckets came out, thinking they would be so easy to keep clean and simply qtip out after each use. I was so wrong... Mine sits in the drawer. Will look to see what they come out with next, but I am not in any hurry after that last purchase.

Look for a cheap Ultrasonic Cleaner and then put any atomizers you have in a bag with ISO fill up the Ultrasonic Cleaner with water and cut it on let it run and your atomizers will come out looking almost like new.

I was actually reading up about using one the other day, thatd save me so much hassle from havig to empty and refill this glass with iso in it I'm soaking my other coils in now hahah.

But for the time being, I should just be fine doing a quick.soak in some iso to get the reclaim out?
