Ddave mod are on his website (link in his signature ;)), and you can find a pic early in this post (just a page before;) )where i show how i use the microdosing kit.
For me it's a must have with such a device !
Can't tell about the extreme, i've never tried it !

The main point about this kit is "the more is the less !!!"

The 7th Floor family of corded vapes (SSV, LSV and Da Budda) will probably meet you desire for a hard hitter but in that role it can turn into a big user of bud.

On the other hand If you can lay your hands on an 18.8 mm male to male adapter and an Extreme Q basket screen you can sample some of the advantages of the D Dave mods with a smaller commitment of time and money. Don't get me wrong I have one of the ddave kits in use but there are similarities between the DIY and the Dave kits in the way I use them.

Ok,so how much is typically used in one load before a ddave mod is brought into the equation?also,the cheapest price ive found is for a n ssv with an american 110v plug on it,is it as simple as just getting an adaptor for the socket to use in the uk?

@Larrytargeteye : After having bought an "amazon SSV" from UK myself, and even if the seller was friendly and competent, i'm sure you can't get a better deal than the one you might get directly from 7th floor. You'll get a flawless aftersale customer service BTW !!!

If i had to do it again, i would go for the factory order, without any doubt !

Just go on their website, order the version and the electric cord you like/want and you'll never regret the few bucks you think you've add… in fact you get a perfect package, with high end customer service !!! just go for oil kit or dry content and you're done !

If you can afford it, just test the différent versions… ground glass, sphérical ground glass and standard glass... prefered one for me is ground glass with Ddave mod...

A friend of yours has it already and you just have to test the version that suits you the best ;)

Yet standard version is loaded with twice the amount of material i use in Ddave mod. but it depend on your settings with that kit… ie. how you place your screen in the stem..


I have a question for all of you, SSV users…
HOW LONG IS YOUR WHIP ?
Did you shorten it ? Why ? More functionnal whip ? Hotter ? tastier ? What's the aim of such a cut^^ ?

With choices of $180 or $70 for shipping i think i will take my chances with a seller from the uk.i think i will go with namaste vapes

Soooo,how much bud are people using in their sillver surfers when a ddave mod isnt in place to be used then?as in .1 or .2

Of all the vaporizers I have throughout my house, the SSV is my daily workhorse. I'm seriously considering downsizing (not selling, just boxing up) my other equipment. 7th Floor simply nailed it with this one IMHO. A fresh filled wand lasts about 2 days (happy hour sessions)... Not bad. I keep the knob at the 10:30 position (mostly).

@Larrytargeteye , my scale is not that much precise, i'm affraid i can't answer that question…
Just test it with your medication needs… according to me, my Dynavap Omni XL does take less material than my SSV with the classic glass wand. With the @DDave mod kit, my SSV and my Omni material needs are equals.. I do take more puff from Omni as i heat it with an induction lighter. Way more precise and accessible for me than the Jet torch lighter.

I guess you'll have to test it by yoursel to find out what fullfill your needs the best.

It's still complex for me, i'm in my "learning curves", realizing that "Less is more"…
one big hit with twice less material and i get medicated way enough…
BUT, as @PieceFrog said, my SSV is althought my daily workhorse, flawlessly ! Omni is my "mobile" device vape.

Been lurking for awhile but for my first post I want to announce I snagged a Cosmetic Seconds SSV for $160 plus shipping friday. On 7th floor my order still says processing but I'm very excited to have a vape besides my trusty Sticky Brick Jr again.

Can anyone help me out and tell me if i can use an ssv with an american plug using an adaptor for a uk plug?does the power cord have 120v/240v 50/60hz written on the american version?i can buy an ssv with an american plug from a uk website for about £50 cheaper than one with a uk plug and i already have an adaptor...thanks in advance

I am not certain, but I believe you would need more than an adapter.... you would also need a converter/transformer of some type to alter the current.
When ordering an SSV, you order 120 OR 240, and the correct plug (and voltage) comes with it.

Thanks for the replies!i dos some research and and found it wasnt cost effective as i did need a converter and not just an adaptor so ive taken the plunge and bought mine from nameste vapes this morning and it arrives tomorrow(free delivery)well happy with that!cant wait to have a little toot :)
