Not with pizza. But I do think there's a very good West Coast style pizza. Shakey's, Round Table, and others like them.
The key to our good Pizza is the water , i have been all over and can not find anything that compares. While some states may have good pizza , it is nothing like NY. I was recently in Florida and there was a pizza place flying in water from NY to make it there.

Sorry to keep derailing this thread..
But the other thing I didn't like was the water...

The only bottled water I could find was filtered water with added minerals...

That's not the same as what commonly available here, which is mineral water bottled at source.. also it's left outside petrol (gas) stations in 30 degrees heat... tasted of plastic...

Although while in colorado I tasted the tastiest water I have ever had the pleasure to drink...
And it came straight from the Colorado river near pikes peak...
It was so crisp and fresh and clear....
Beautiful... as nature intended....

But then I saw a sign a few hundred metres up, saying it full of parasites... so i spent a good few weeks thinking about the possibility of gut worms.... still fucking tasty water...

I'm not arrogant believe it or not...
But I spent over 3 weeks there and as far as food went, I was in hell...
I have a family of fussy eaters to cater for, and everything seemed to be based on corn syrup...
Everything was too sweet for us..
I was constantly bloated and uncomfortable..
I have some intolerances...

I tried many things from many places...
But I could not find what I would call good food..
Sorry if that offends, but that was my experience....

Maybe if I lived there I could find proper food, but it doesn't live in wallmart..

Anyway I don't wish to derail this thread, after spending about 8k on my holiday, it will be a while before I feel the need to come back..
So many other places to see....

I'm not wishing to crap on your country..
It just wasnt for me... from what I saw...
I did travel a couple of thousand miles...
I know that's still a drop in the ocean...
Which I should have been closer too...

If I ever do come back, I'm going straight to California and gate crashing @ataxian....

But I think if I do, it will be without the kids in ten years time...
And I'll figure out where to find real food..
@kellya86 why you didn't come see me in CALIFORNA I have no ideal?

In the 80's I spent time between NEW YORK (QUEEN"S; BROOKLYN; MANHAT
TAN} and LOS ANGELS, CA.

WE had a JOKE: EAST & WEST everything in the MIDDLE doesn't matter!

In ENGLAND (EARLY 90's the food was gross to me? EXPECT the FISH and CHIP'S with MASHED GREEN PEA'S)

FRANCE had the best food ever.
My wife is FRENCH and we prepare most of our own meal's.
In CALIFORNIA we have the best SOIL, SUNSHINE and WIND and I've been to many place's on this planet we call EARTH. The FOOD EAST of CALIFORNIA is different and I don't care for it.

MEXICAN FOOD in CALIFORNIA is AMAZING.

60 miles WEST of the coast line of NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA the FISH is very HUMMY.
In NORTHERN CALIFORNIA the GREATEST CANNABIS and GRAPES are GROWN.

STRAWBERRIES the SIZE of a homo sapiens hand!
INDOOR growing is OK for MARS (MATT DAMIEN STYLE)
I'm BIAS to CALIFORNIA for food, wine & CANNABIS!

The EVO is an example of CALIFORNIA LIVING!

CALIFORNIA if it was a country would be the 6th largest economy in the WORLD!

The key to good New York pizza is that there are knowledgeable New York style pizzamakers in New York. Well, were. (In Manhattan, anyway.)

The pizza I made in the video was pretty much exactly what you'd get at a good slice joint in New York.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the quality of pizza has very little to do with the water. That's called a myth. Like the one everyone believes about cornmeal in deep dish. That one is 100% bullshit. All it takes to learn that is reading the label of a Malnati's to go (frozen) pizza.

Sorry about continuing the off-topic discussion.

I agree to disagree , the water definitely plays a big part, while of-course the maker does also. If you were a born and raised New York'er you'd understand , i wont fight this subject with you as you are not from the area. I'm gonna leave this subject alone now as to not derail the thread anymore but respect all your opinions.

@ataxian lmao strawberries the size of a homo sapiens hands. love that 1

You know anything else about pizza? Because I know a fuckload about pizza. I have videos to prove it. I don't mean to be a dick, but it's true. And there is a ton of evidence on the Internet backing me up.

Sometimes I'm full of shit. Sometimes being full of shit is how you learn. Not this time, though. Not me, anyway. Unless I am. Which I'm pretty sure I'm not.

@Justpassedu I don't want to sound like I'm bragging.

I have been and lived in {EUROPE, USA, CENTRAL & SOUTH AMERICA + FRENCH POLYNESIA + CARIBBEAN} and there are place's I love for food and life.

Down the street we have LITTLE SAIGON, NEWPORT BEACH, SUNSET & SURF SIDE + HB rest-rants?
We don't have a tourist INDUSTRY for CANNABIS because we were the first! (OUTDOORS)

PIONEER'S = ARROWS
SETTLER'S = GOLD

EVO = CANNABIS PROCESSOR = CIVILIZED

My great grandmother came from Italy to NY through Ellis island . I am Italian , of course i know about pizza. I am also at the age where arguing about pizza will not benefit my life in anyway. Internet is not where i get most of my facts but real life experiences. I will now respect Stu's wishes and leave this alone but hey respect to you and your knowledge of pizza. Its a good thing we all share the love for the Evo.

@kellya86 I guess what everyone is saying "ask us before you come across the pond next time and we'll help you find good eats". Oh and maybe meet some vaping buddies. :science: << looks to me like he's holding a waterpipe

There are a lot of American places that serve bad food, but there is a strong healthy eating movement for people here who are tired of it. Garden-to-table, eating local, and more food alternatives for people with dietary restrictions. The problem is that here in the US there are a lot of mom-and-pop restaurants that get their food from the same sources (Sysco, etc) and chain restaurants generate their own corporate food supplies similarly.

When it comes down to eating, most of the time I'd rather prepare my own food than eat out anyways.

You have to admit though that there are some eccentric tastes in the UK too...fried SPAM isn't on my list.

Well, I no longer see any reason why the Dry Mouthpiece should be sold with the EVO, I mean, its seems so natural to have a whip+lynx or a HT for the basic kit.

For me, this vape is about using water, I could never use it dry, just not my thing.

it might be time to move onto a high end enail. Any thoughts?

Its just my opinion, but the EVO is an herb vape that can do concentrates, but it ain't a Liger Banger, a D-nail Halo, or a New Vape Flower Pot wrap-around....all of which will do a better job with concentrates.

BUT, no you would need a water tool of some sort, coils, and controller so it is a significant investment.

I understand its a huge country with many differing regions... I travelled from chicago to Colorado... the food seemed to be a constant as far as i could make out.. and we just didn't like it...
Not to mention the dodgy toilets, and people carrying guns for no good reason...

Iv seen as much as I'd like, I won't be comimg back.. no offence....
Wow, that's kind of ironical. Not sure where you are....UK, right?

I just retired from a UK based software company and on my new starter training trip I had the same impression of England. Loved the people I met and worked with but thought the food was awful and the bathrooms would knock the hair out of your nose at 20 paces! LOL

Just goes to show, there's no place like home.....because its home :nod::D

Where? Were you in Boca? If so, I think I might know the place.

Delray Beach in November but went to a few surrounding towns , I forget the name of the place but we also went for bagels and they were doing it there , I think it was NY water bagel or Brooklyn something like that . Either way I love the area and have family in delray , can’t wait to get back there. Hopefully retire there someday also but I got lots of time .

The EVO is my best vape when it comes to flavor/taste chasing and because it's so smooth I use it dry the majority of the time to enjoy that aspect. Water tends to dull the flavor a little for me. I actually have a small cheapie Chinese hydro-tube bubbler that I use dry. Don't get me wrong though .... if I'm looking for lung busting clouds I use water.

Should I get the new rig and use it dry?

I've found that I like to take the first 1-2 hits with the dry mouthpiece, to really get the best flavor in the beginning. Then I switch over to the hydra mouthpiece and continue on. This is my current preference until my Lynx and water pipe adapter get here.

Yep, exactly! Water even in small amounts does take away from the flavor.

Please do share when you get a chance. I'd love to see it! Steve Colbert is always good. Lol Kathy Bates seems like a cool old lady, good to know she's down with the green.

Hey are DHgate hydratubes any good?

Also, how do ya'll recommend doing the concentrates - is 12 o'clock still a good starting temp? I must be doing it wrong because I got this nasty black junk on my nails that don't come off after 4 days of iso soaking... Going to try some paint thinner. I don't know if it was the way I did it or if it was the stuff I used (nanno cbd pearls)

I normally use 2:00 on my EVO dial.
This strain of DUTCH TREAT need's 12:00 in my case this time?
We have a new HARVEST so my strain coming may require a higher setting?

I use ROSIN because it's cheap right now!

Shatter if I have to!

11:00 is my setting for CONCENTRATES. (start there and adjust + or - to your liking?)

Cleaning? Some use chemical's and some TORCH them.
Let other's comment on this one?

I want the LNYX to use with my www.ogb.com MOUTHPIECE so bad! (JON-SING)
The BOMB is the best one! (pvo)

I need to buy more. (quarts nail's)
