They are both top of the flavor spectrum. I actually just pulled out the iq for that exact reason today and I still can't decide. Def conduction/convections finest:tup:

It's all over this thread. I copied a bunch of member suggestions to my notes. Ironically, in the end, I just went with the Davinci batteries as I had a store credit. They seems to work fine. Supposedly, some of the ones on this random list run cooler. Here's the info I collected...

LG HG2's and Samsung 25R's IQ batteries

The Samsung 30Q is the best battery for the IQ,

The only way to control heating issues with the IQ is to use a 15 amp battery, higher amperage batteries make the IQ run hot to the touch when in use.

Max battery life is the one that came with iq, 10 amps 3500 mah

Then lg hg2 and vtc6 both 3000 mah 20 amps

Vtc 4/5 and samsung 25r is 2100/2600 and 2500 mahs 20amps, the vtc4 is reportedly capable of higher amps

IQ SMELL ? My Ascent & Pax were very good vapes 2 yrs ago but the units always smelled terrible. About the IQ odor, would I have to commission Ratchet
for some kind of rubber cover? or is the IQ different in fragrance to that of the Ascent? I'm open for all opinions.

Figured that @Vaporcussion. Back in March of this year, on these pages, DaVinci Vaporizer stated that a "glove" or "cover" accessory for the IQ was still a work in progress. Some people may not care of the stench it gives off when not in use but a lot of people do. These may be potential buyers who expect a modicum of stealth in this area and end up purchasing a Pax3. Yes it also smells but Ratchett makes anti-stench caps for it !
What happened to it? Comment DaVinci?

Has anyone had the iq reset when leaving the battery out for a long time?
I don't leave it in because of the permanent blue tooth.
I had all set up via app and in Celsius after a session
Then today, onecday latet, all in Fahrenheit. Smart paths reset
Didn't start on precision where I left off etc...
Stock battery fully charged etc
Thoughts?

I leave battery out for at least two weeks and it seems to retain settings

You will love it! It's a great vape, just took mine out... totally neglected my IQ as I just got my SBJ 3 weeks ago. Finally took the IQ out last night. It is so smooth, the best conduction vape I ever used.

Regarding the spacers, what’s the preferred method? Do you guys do spacer first and then fill the remainder of the chamber? Or place the spacer on top of ground material?
