Greetings for the new week. Some XL love- I have enjoyed having my original Herborizer back in action. Yesterday I tried the raised screen method to work with a smaller load for large hits.
I used the Aromed 4.0 screens, they are a little bigger than the Herborizer ones, so they sit concave on top of the dimples:
See how small the load is. Only 0.2 max if that, with the screen raised I kept to my max tolerated heat of 7, but I got very good hits from the go. Really good clouds and powerful effect. Much more than with the screen below the dimples, unless you load more.
Looking down from atop- I had already had a good few very nice hits by then, but still very golden. Notice the evenness of extraction the XL can provide.
Check this out for even extraction, compared to the unvaped bud. Does this abv look good or what?! A sign of a quality vaporizer I believe.
Raising the screen works and elevates the hitting power and extraction of the XL. However, I tried this method before and it bothered my throat a lot more. The same occured yesterday, it just caused too much irritation for me.
I lowered the screen to finish the load, there was a good bit left actually, and even with the screen below dimples, from this already used small load, I still got impressive and very visible clouds. As the day went on I did get very canned from vapes and edibles.
Next to be loaded into the Xl is some lovely orgainc outdoor auto Durban Poison. It really isn't bad for a product of British weather and very minimal fertiliser, zoom in on the trichs if you don't believe me!:

Hey thanks! And I would of asked for UK plug if I could, but I bought it from Vaposhop and wasn't given that option.

I am planning to buy a new desktop... but can not decide between the flowerpot and the herborizer ti...
what I am searching ... as some of you may know I am a cloud chaser so big dense vapor clouds are very important...
I also want to be able to microdose with my new desktop and looking to get also big clouds from small loads of herb...
also I am looking for a desktop which give me big flavourfull hits... also I want to mention that I am planning to use my new desktop mainly for flowers as it is hard to get good concentrate where I live... maybe also important I from europe...

I would have said that the Herborizer has a superior taste .. 
But honestly, I couldn't part with one or the other !
A major point of the herborizer that was not mentionned early, is the power consumption!
Herborizer is rated max at 36w (12v), while Flowerpot is around 100w (220v).
Waiting on the DigiTi ..

Sebastien is a pro in everything he does. He really is on the ball as much as any vape seller I have dealt with. If he used dhl like he did with me when he fixed my broken injector for free a few weeks back, and shipped it- for free!...
then it should travel fast and secure. I got mine the next day in the UK from France. It was due on the thursday but came early. Sebastien only received my broken injector on the monday morning.
By wednesday afternoon, I had it back, new heating element, and "oven cleaned" to shiny new!
Basically a 100% new injector, effectively, and I didn't even have to pay the shipping.
I just wanted to say another time what a nice guy and good business man, but with a heart and not trampling on anybody. I wish Herborizer the best success. There is big competition from other manufacfurers nowadays, thankfully mainly in the US, although some are coming to these shores very soon.
But Herborizer do a lot of very high quality products (extractors etc) as well as excellent vaporizers tnat will always be very attractive and satisfying.
Wishing them the best anyway.
Can you tell Im high again? Seems to be standard lately. I don't just get stoned, I use weed to affect my consciousness in a positive way. Using the XL actually tonight, Think Differnet again, after Durban and Colorado Cookies vapcaps, and edibles earlier. I've only had a few pulls of the Think Different just now, need more.

Since I'm posting, might as well say I've got a complete Ti system, stand, steamroller, and a custom icetube on its way from France to my doorstep

Just be really careful when you put on the glass onto the steel base (if you disassemble it). Mine unfortunately broke on the third day.
For me the reason is that i'm travelling much and carry my vape in my backpack and it's basically at another place every day. And to transport everything secure i've disassembled the glass part (looks like it should be able to be used like this, since it will be attached the same way the interchangeable Dryherb/Dab heads are) and put it i foam.
I'm sorry, i didn't want to offend you. In my case it was veeery little pressure and don't want this to happen to anybody else, especially no one to have cuts in their hands.

Been using my new herbo ti for the last couple of weeks and love the performance but I have a quick question which I did try to search for but couldn't find exactly what I wanted to know.
It appears my screen wasn't installed correctly like some have reported as upon first using it a couple of times this is what my bubbler looked like:
When I had a closer look I could see that the screen seemed to be slightly off centre, leaving a 0.5-1mm gap on the "right" and then a larger gap (~2mm) on the "left" as it was also bent slightly up there, I tried bending it back and its helped somewhat but I still see alot of un-vaped herb making it into the bubbler still and all further attempts to move/reseat it fail as it just seems to pop back to where it was...
My question really is what shape are the screens supposed to be? As my next step was to remove, heat then flatten and reinstall, or fail that, just replace the screen but when looking at my replacement ones they look like:
Should they be flat or is this the shape best suited to creating a perfect seal around the edges to stop herb dropping through?
And does anyone have any tips for replacing screen or is it as simple as popping it in?

What you are seeing isn't really anything to do with screen tightness.
It's just "vapor goop", resin build up, i don't know if water hardness does that, but sometimes it builds up evenly on the walls of the glass, sometimes it creates weird blobs like that.
The Screen only prevents solids to go through. They do't need to be 100% tight. I clean and reuse mine forever. Still on my original one on my Ti after 7 months. I use a chopstick to push mine in or out.
