@mucsusn that collection is jaw-dropping! I am sorta trying to prevent mine from looking like that but I'm not doing a very good job.
On the topic - today I welcome my very first UNDERDOG ALPHA to my tribe and it is a stunner! A Bocote monster with a little micro-dog to match. I will get a pic up soon!
I need to start a new learning curve of voltage, screen placement, load size, etc. to perfect it but my first few bowls with the alpha have been really impressive.
How many of you FC crowd have shown @mucsusn 's collection to your SO and said "Look! I'm not crazy!"

I have combusted several times with my UD lol. I mean, its a vape that you really should not ever combust, but each time I have its been because I was too high and not paying attention.
Interested in your thoughts on the macro as you get accustomed to it. I have had one in the shopping cart many times but have yet to pull the trigger.

I doubt you really need the 15v power supply - all five of my dogs run HOT - all you need to do is move the adjustable screen up or down in the stem. Your more likely to damage your dog as well with a 15v if your not paying attention and bump the dial.

I have been running all my dogs at 12.4V forever but the two latest arrivals do seem to perform really well at 12.0V. I have a lot more experimenting to do before I settle on a voltage.
The micro-dog is really impressive!! It performs essentially just as well as the full-size dogs once it's really warmed up. The only downside is that it likes to topple over because it's so light....
@underdog - do the micros use a resistor or a stainless heater?? Just curious. It performs great!

I have some Ddave 18mm accessories and it is about 1mm too small. Anyone got any ideas? It would need to be about 13mm ID. Does anyone know the ID of the Milaana short stems or the 420EDC stems by chance? Unfortunately I think these are probably all made from the same size tubing as the

compared to my sweetheart's and my mom's dog, i know my lil econo runs hot--and since it's been 2 yrs i'm well adjusted to mine & so i want to have the option to pump up the heat in case i want it. but i suppose when it arrives tomorrow i'll find out if i really need a 15v supply or not!

The alpha bowl is no bigger on the ID than their glass stems, same screens too, for anyone curious. Love using my alpha direct draw first in the alpha, then finishing the load in my air core (they fit and I'd recommend for an air core), nice even avb every time.
Heats up maybe 10 mins slower than the the aircore, however I leave both on pretty much 24/7 so heatups not an issue for my use

Bummer, had I known it was fine for 24/7 operation like a regular dog, I would have definitely grabbed it!
With that said I am certain the Bhilwara Dog is going to be amazing.

here's my new thick honey locust!!!!! truly everything i was hoping for, i'm so happy!!
& omg. yep. i love the new core already. toasty toasty toasty results, no struggling, no waiting, even with the glass stems! (i love my little old econo dog but boy, she sometimes doesnt have the stamina for my extended glass bowl sessions.) the vvps is great!! i've never had one before but i know i'll be getting use out of it--especially since i have an aromatherapy cup now!! i can't believe i never used one before... anyway, much joy will be had tonight as i continue to test!! hopefully i will have the time & the light tomorrow to get some better, natural light images (with my actual camera, lol) of the new addition as well as all the excellent goodies i received in my box!

I've had great success with the stainless steel lite and my aircore. I don't know what your problem is, but I'll guess maybe that it gets too hot? If that's the case, draw faster or turn down the temp.

Whoa let's keep it civil in here fellas!
Anyway, @dapperdopamine, what's the issue you're running into? The few times I've used an SS lite stem I found it pretty foolproof to load small amounts (just to the top of the tiny screen basket, maybe a hair higher), resulting in single solid hits to cash the stem.

The SS Lite and the Nylon stems are the hottest running, usually approaching (if not into) combustion at full voltage (12v) so it was probably not enough heat (due to voltage or heat up time) or less than ideal quality herb. If the herb worked with other stems I think you can rule that out.
Do you recall the voltage you were using and/or the heat up time?

yeah the SS lite does run hot, but after bowls after bowls, this is my favorite so far (haven't tried any glass or gongs/nong yet). For me, it was the draw. I drew way faster than needed, but once I got that down and set my vvps to about 10-10.5v then it's amazing!
