Thanks. I assume you meant "....setting of 352..." So, I was pretty close, 14% off? Not bad for such a small shop. That means I'm really running less than 390F by that same amount (14%). So, assuming 70F to start (apparent 320 rise) it really went up only 275 degrees (86% of 320) for a total of about 350F not 390. Makes sense.

Great choice of materials IMO, but you knew that already.........

Thanks again.

Math sounds about right and you are right on the "of" part.

We are already working on Gen 2 and gen 3 versions of the tank so the more feedback I get the better we will make it.

Thanks again

Yer welcome, Boss. Take your time on the upgrades and get it right? While I (and I assume a bunch of guys, many of whom don't know it yet) am looking forward to them, for now I'll amuse myself with this one.

One thing that would be nice is to be able to break it down further (remove the glass tube?) for cleaning? If we can keep the temperature low enough, perhaps junk won't get burnt on the element like with Omicron?

Thanks for the prompt reply. No, I'm mostly using the (small) Basic. I haven't tried the Mini for that reason, although I think it should work.

Please let us know what success you have? And at what settings?

TIA

I posted in another thread this morning about some of the other experiences I have had with prefilled carts as of late, and I am looking forward to trying something with a little more forward thinking. The lack of cotton or fiber is a major plus alone.

I'm looking forward to grabbing a trinity tank. I've always avoided co2 and runnier stuff in the past, it'll be fun to start trying those.

I just went to a music festival and I would of loved to have had a big filled tank to take hits off of all day. I'm going to wait until the terps are up to check them out, not sure how I feel about them. I'll probably buy some to try if they aren't too expensive.

This is a mixing video, please note he is mixing 2 grams at once so he uses about 8 drops or around 7.5 drops and also note after inserting the oil in the tank wait for 10 min for it to settle into the base for it to have time to be absorbed in the tank.

I am not sure what I think of this yet. I think for me I would rather load that crumble looking stuff straight in my Herc and be done. I think I prefer a bit of cleanup after rather than the mess I would have mixing terps. I can see it being really awesome for runny stuff that the Herc does not like.

I wonder how these Trinity tanks will compare to the vape710 v2.1 tanks. The v2.1's have ceramic wick wrapped in SS316L wire and unrestricted airflow. Anyone with the Trinity have the v2.1 as well?

I have a tank similar to what you posted but it may not have unrestricted airflow. I already know I don't care for the heater in the tank I have. It had cotton/fiber wicks at the openings for the heater. It looks like these v2.1 also have them...it is actually kind of obvious thay they do have a fiber wick. If it did not, you would actually be able to see clear through those white holes. The white holes are just a patch of fiber in front of a ceramic cylinder that lays horizonatally on each side allowing the concentrate to enter the heating portion of the cylinder where the wire is wrapped around it.

Here is the version I have. I highly recommend the Trinity tank over any of these versions after seeing the teardown of the Trinity tank by @Accept posted in another thread.

The end material looks almost as thick, sticky and sappy as some of my homeade rosins. Pretty thick if you ask me. I dont see other carts or even the tanks that @Vape Donkey 650 and @Steven have been experimenting with doing so well with thicker material like this. I would love to hear what you guys think to tho.

This would be a nice way to utilize clean reclaim. Add some terps so it tastes good and no leaks.

These are different from the MaxVapor carts it seems. I just tore apart a vape710 v2.1 since you mentioned the other ones had some fiber in near the ceramic and what I found was that these do NOT have any fiber material/wick. The white you see through the 2 holes is just the ends of the ceramic rod. I took some pictures here of the coil, hope it helps. Interested to see inside a Trinity cart now.

Hey @OF do you remember this design you tried in 2013?

So they're related? It did fine as I told you, leaked a bit (but not much) but died the death of low emissions over a gram or two like Omicron carts do sometimes.

Being able to effectively clean them before that would be very nice.......

OF

They are related for sure but the Trinity is a few steps ahead as it was designed to be used with 99% iso. Im sure you will see it once you get to that stage that it comes back perfect when cleaned right.

Cool shit to see SiC actually be used. I'm curious how folks will find the cost of terpenes fitting into this equation. Seems like it would cost me about $100 to fill the tank.

Hope to see this SiC heater in a new LAYG atomizer.

Terpenes are up on our site.

Each vial should do about 2 grams or a bit more but 2 grams for sure. It has 0.25ml.

As for SiC in layg atomizer ever since we came out with the black ceramic we have been using it. We just never really talked about it. I guess every knock off now will start calling it SiC now goes to show you how much they know about building vaporizers.

Damn man $89 for a quarter of a milliliter? That's deep! Trinity Terpenes has a sample pack, 4x .25 mL, 1mL total for $100. It would cost closer to $150 a tank with Blue River terps. $150 a gram is way, way deep.

Are you saying your porous black ceramic is silicon carbide? I have like 20x of your porous black ceramic carts. I find that material incredibly difficult to fully clean. It would be sweet to see a non-porous version of it in an atomizer, like what D Nail uses in their SiC Halo. Preferably a sealed floor SiC cup with a titanium plate heater underneath... a guy can dream :leaf:

Everyone can claim they use Cannabis Derived Terpenes, Blue River is known for using actual cannabis plants to extract terpenes. Starting material is not cheap it dictates final cost.

As for our SiC material yes it has been SiC since we introduced it. As for none porous SiC if we are going that route then mind as well use quartz which exists, the porous SiC is designed to hold oil near the heater to vaporize.

The Trinity tanks are designed specifically to be cleaned to match as closely to brand new status as possible.

Yes the tank you showed in that was actually developed around 2012 and 2013. OF was one of the many people who we had test a tank similar in design very similar in design to the one you linked too and i mean like 95% similar in design.

Its interesting what is coming out years after NDA's are starting to expire. I am in no way saying OF leaked that design. In fact oF is one of the few people I can trust with my designs. Just saying that it had issues and we moved on from it.
