Yocan Torch - Best Portable Enail

EXCELSIOR!
I've bought 2 of these in San Diego, they're $26.99 at a local vape shop. You can use the Evolve Plus coils with the Torch. I've also got the Evolve Plus and the Magneto, as well as the cerum atomizer. Don't waste your time with the magneto period. I've used the following 3rd party batteries effectively with the torch: Aspire CF Sub Ohm, Vision Spinner, Aspire NX-75 (dials in nicely), Target VTC from Vaporesso, and that little VE "nugget". The batteries from the Torch, Evolve Plus and Magneto are all interchangeable for me. I use the Evolve Plus coils on the Magneto- the "miracle coil" in the Magneto sucks, do not buy it, unless it's $16.99. The Torch however, is a massively small in size, and price (in my area apparently, and they're legit.). This thing looks stupid, impractical and kind of San Antonio spurs-like...but for the cost, it can't be beat. The QDC coils do get gunked up, burn them at 25watts, they're clean, and hot (careful) in a couple of minutes tops. They're supposed to be self cleaning, and to an extent they are, but you're not going to get the most pure taste from a QDC with some mileage on it. But it WILL work perfectly as an every day device on some glass, and it WILL make you choke and get WRECKED if you want. It's important to keep it clean. Nobody ever does, myself included, but burn the wax, shatter, whatever, off when you're done like a BBQ. Nobody's gonna do that, I don't, but I should. This is a great device, under like $45...the "Thor" is pretty awesome too.

So I have one in my cart to try, have got a few glass for my Xvape Vista & I think this might
be nice to pass around while I hog my Xvape (kidding, something to have as a spare or passing
around a second bong or recharginge ect...)
So what coils do you suggest I get, as it comes with 1 dual coil for wax?
You suggest a few types, so what do you prefer?
Like to get some spares with my order, cant decide if Black or Silver.
Any coils like my Xvape, all glass quartz , just soak in ISO overnight & clean.

What other advantages are there in using a vape mod for the battery besides wattage control?

I would rather not have to hold the button down while I hit it.

And has anyone ever tried using a different atomizer with the stock battery?
Are there any non-yocan coils that also work in the Torch?

Anyone answer your question, or have you figured it out?

No luck with the sai. Regarding the DT, I doubt it would work due to the airflow restrictions. The best coil I have found is the yocan cerum ceramic donut paired with my mod at about 14w.

Do you mean I can use the yocan cerum ceramic donut with the Yocan Torch?
What are the advantages?
Better smoother taste

Just so Dab HAppy!
The torch itself acts as a conductor/connector. You can run any atomizer on it that will screw into it. I have tried Source attys as well as the Evolve and Evolve plus donuts.

Yes. If you do this, you would need to pulse the power in 2-4 sec bursts. Smoother and better taste.

Thx again for all the tips, need to get up to speed, lol.

Is this because of shortening the life of the coils?
or just too hot hit?
It heats up that fast, to cool down & get a good hit?
What is your favorite atomizer on it?
Have you tried your Xvape Vista coils?

Thx again for all the tips, need to get up to speed, lol.

Donuts get too hot too quick on the stock battery

Vista coils threading is way too large for the torch

OK, never looked or tried.
Waiting for my Yocan Torch fron FastTech .
Found a neat way to totally clean the inside edges of the Xvape Vista Coils.
First soak them in bong cleaner for an hour or so, then insert a large straw
with a slot cut out to get into behind the glass, dislodge it & soak in ISO .
All gunk comes out easily. I clean the bubbler in a matter of minutes
with a large tub of ISO in a lok & lok airtight container, clean in a minute
run hot water thru & blow out excess, refill.
Both Bubbler & coils look like they came out of the box, no fuss no mess.

I know you are not suppose to take it out of base, but I am extremely carefull
and nurse it slowly, controlling (lowering heat with dual airflow path) as you know
the key is how much water you put in bubbler, very sensative or it spills.
Since I know there is no lower temp coil comming, this does the trick & puts
me in total control of hits , temp, air flow , density of smoke & streches hits.

Negatives for the vista for me is $100 for spare battery, Ill fitting in 2 rigs so far,
hoping I can use insert from yocan torch or make some kind of spacer.
You have any solutions for the bad fit I am getting on 2 18mm small rigs?

Light is red, does it change on full charge.
Fits in my D020 perfect.

Garbage dab rig, coils are hard to get and even when ordered from the maker in China, they still don’t work. Waited a month and a half for replacement coils. This is a horrible piece of equipment and I don’t understand how anyone can advocate its usage unless a sponsorship type of deal has been worked out with the reviewer.

I have emailed the maker extensively, about 5 times through personal email and Facebook, as well a very expensive call to their Chinese landline provided on their FB page without any type of response.

It has 0 reliability, you never know if it will work, if your coils are compatible (especially if they're coming from Yocan), if you're gonna get the stupid white lights of death, etc... I recommend literally anything, even tin foil and a straw over this piece.

That is an intesting first post on FC... either way, I have over 100 various pens, atomizers, and Dab toys, and have nothing but good results with the torch and yocan products in general. I would suggest ordering from a reputable dealer.

So I just got this yesterday and I'm a bit disappointed. Not sure if I have a faulty unit or my expectations were too high. Pulling on the water pipe is damn near impossible with this thing on it, yes I can pull a hit, but the lung power required is a bit ridiculous. The carb function doesn't seem to provide any airflow to actually clear the pipe, I have to lift it off to clear. Great hits, smooth, but should it be that hard to pull? Trying the glass cap and taking that off didn't provide the airflow needed to clear the pipe either. Thanks for any insights

Really OK.
How long do you pulse donut coils on the Evolve & + on the torch?
Can I use My Evic Two Mini as a battery in TCR mode?
My Daily Driver is the Xvape Vista E-Nail but The Yocan torch fits better &
draws better on all my Glass.

If you use TC Ni mode you wont have to pulse. I have not used Yocan products for almost a year now probably so I cannot recall settings but you can find them in the Evolve thread. I think it was like 12 watts and 350F but you can always start low and work your way up. I still want to try the Vista. I bet the Vista experience is very much like what I just did with my Daisy vaporizer. I just dropped a preloaded quartz cup in the Daisy and almost instant dabs in a conpletely enclosed system other than the external butane heat. This is what appeals to me about the Vista, however I am not sure that preloading does appeal to me.

Ok Thx for that tip, I am getting my donuts too black, can I burn it off?
The 91%Alc bath doesn't clean them well.

The Vista system is so sealed a minute or two after finishing vape
take off carb cap & see smoke still escapes out.
It's works same as Yocan Plus atty, only WOW!
If you like to blow smoke in the air & have shatter to throw around, not the Vape.
This Stretches your stuff & crushes anything out there on Micro-Dosing.
Xvape Vista is da bomb!
Now if you really want to dab, I just string out some shatter & use a glass tools
hit the button once, no holding it down BS, when it glows apply shatter & work out
your own nail preference, but I love preload now that I learned low temp method.

I just took Sue up on here sale in UK & got a 2nd one for about $111 , couldn't pass it up.
It came in pretty quick & jast as she said, slight damage on outside corner of box.
It's just as Awesome as my Black on, so I can hang on to one & pass the other.
I paid $200 +tax in Vegas for my original & this is great if I just wanted parts , spare battery, bubbler ect. Its silver & all Brand New with warranty, not fake, most solid of all I tried.
Can't believe the deal, legit.
Love these britts from HighonLine, lol.

Try to get most of the reclaim out and heat it until the donut is white again, it take a long time (2x10s cycles at least) to be hot enough to burn the residues.

Just noticed Yocan is selling some dry herbs attys for the Torch, is somebody can report about them?

Hi, I use a lot my Torch, very convenient enail replacement when you are too lazy to power it on.

I have a question: Is there any user using W9 attys in their Torch? Did they fit?

In my brief experience with a yocan flower vape, I can tell you they work awful. Worse than a flowermate! That was a dedicated flower vape too, I'm sure their dry herb attachments are just combustion chambers...
