Anyone else notice how vaporizers have went from having hardly any visible vapor to having a lot

I remember people used to talk about how you wouldn't really see the vapor but you'll feel the effects etc..

Now it seems like the top tier vaporizers all produce clouds to some extent. Evo, Flowerpot, E nano, Milaana, Mighty. Etcetc

Yup, me too. My first was a volcano. I still have it and it still makes clouds.

I'll admit that the volcano and even the aromed have been good cloud producers for 20 years.

I remember trying my first vape the MFLB and I couldn't see the vapor but it was definitely working. I remember lots of portables being like this around 2012. Da Vinci original.

Then I got the Arizer Solo and realized that things had made a lot of improvements.

My mflb and og da Vinci still produce clouds. I can actually pull some huge clouds from the mflb with a fresh battery or my power adapter. There are some pretty sick videos of people milking water pipes with the mflb.

HEY! okay, i'm a hippie, i admit it ... i'm also an engineer of the software kind

i found lack of vapor (in the early iterations of the Bud Toaster) was due to lack of power (and responsiveness) to hold temperature.

so: better batteries + better heater design + a microprocessor + custom programming = better vapor.

my goal is to not exhale vapor: i love seeing the draw tube fill and feel the thick vapor cover my tongue and fill my mouth for a half breath, then finish the breath with just air = minimal vapor exhale.

takes 120 seconds from power on to first inhale ... 15 seconds to 350°F, then 105 seconds of heat soak to open the trichomes ... at least that's how this iteration performs.

Hey,
When I first came to this forum seven years ago, there was a raging debate between the cloud chasers and those who believed that clouds were a sign of waste.
Being a newbie at the time, I just watched and became amused at all of the subjective opinions that were flying around.
The most popular vapes, if I remember correctly, were the Purple Days log , Magic Flight, Silver Surfer, Da Budda and a few others.
Most were under powered, and only produced clouds when pushed hard.
It does seem like we are pushing vape makers to design cloud machines rather than effective vapes. IMHO
And yes, I've become a cloud chaser as well.
