Vaping green worm waste aka poop

I have been gone for several weeks, and I had instructed someone to feed/water my plants in my absence. I did not instruct them to inspect the plant or monitor it or anything similar (my mistake).

I just pulled about 10 worms off one plant, and they did quite a number on the plant. A lot of the bud that's left (which is unfortunately a small fraction of what was killed/eaten) is covered in worm shit. It does not come off easily, obviously, and I want to know if I should worry about it at all?

Anyone have experience vaping worm shitted on flowers?

...I did enjoy slicing them in half!!!

*facepalm* *crying* *tear drops*

About the worst thing in the world!
even if you spray them with bacteria that makes them unable to digest and starves them to death they just crawl into the middle of the bud + that same bacteria in right conditions seams to cause bud-rot!!!
Best thing is to pick them out and spray the stem and soil unless your plant has little or no bud (early flower)

Vaping some worm shit i have no idea about, I water cured and then ISO hashed the left overs when that happened to me.

Bacteria is called: bacillus thuringiensis

Works fantastic for kale and other garden varieties

That's a really good idea. Make hash with ISO, hopefully anything dangerous will be disinfected by the ISO. It would be nice to know how dangerous it is though.

ISO is used to disinfect lab equipment because it leaves behind no residue, the one I use is 99,5% ISO and 0.5% distilled water and should be found anywhere in the western world.

Here is an interesting article from leafly about extracting with ISO https://www.leafly.com/news/industry/ethanol-cannabis-extraction water curing or properly cured bud will do fine but freshly dried or trim will tasty like grass clipping from your garden :)

Oh for sure, curing is very important, and I didn't really mean the safety of ISO, I meant more the safety of worm shit, how long it takes for ISO to kill whatever shit is on there and if it does a good enough job or if anything is left behind that shouldnt be vaped.

Some Canadian Licensed Producers of medical cannabis use "Gamma Irradiation" to "cold pasteurize" which results in cleansing their product of all bacteria. But I imagine worm poop would still be left behind just very clean poop.

I dont care how clean someone claims poop is, I dont want it any where near me ;)

(but I didnt know that! Thanks for the info :) )

I don't enjoy gamma irradiated cannabis, it usually has very degraded smell/terpene content and the overall high is not great for pain relief which is noticeable especially when compared with a non-irradiated batch of the same strain.

In tenth grade we dissected an ' owl pellet' which, in case you didn't know:rockon: is a sort of bone/ hair ball owls puke up after eating so many rodents, etc. Sent straight from the lab and sterilized... Dr _____ : "don't worry, it's the cleanest thing you've touched all day". .
Good luck with the worm poop experiment, i''d sterilize that shit and try it out, after trying a tiny pinch "raw" in my VC but that's just me. Please tell us results! Thanks. Hanging on every word over here, D.

Well, I totally botched the whole fucking thing. I trimmed that batch up well, put it in a mason jar, left the country, instructed a friend to open it daily and let it dry out a bit before closing it. I had a complete and utter brain fart as I never hung it to dry first. Needless to say I came back to a heaping pile of mold...cried a little. Also, the friend neglected to water the plants while I was gone and they're dead. I tried bringing them back to life; however, it's been too long I think. Pretty sad :(

so sorry to hear of your loss; both your bud and your plants.

I often start new perennials from seed or root cuttings. Several decades ago we had a built a new house and the property needed to be landscaped. I had started about a thousand seedlings under lights in the basement. They were maybe two or three months old but still required daily tending to adjust the height of the lights and constantly required watering.

During this period, I ended up in the hospital for two weeks. I asked my husband to check on them daily and to keep up the watering. He forgot. When I got out of the hospital the plants were crispy dead. I was devastated.

We divorced years later.

Well, I might get a quarter or half ounce from what's left on the plant, but they've just barely started growing buds...barely. So, I'll chop them and hang them this week and that'll be that I suppose. I might move to indoor next time because I am so fucking tired of the worms...I have a hell of a time keeping them out of the garden (non-cannabis garden ... and apparently the cannabis garden, too).

Chopped down the plants...there is not much survivable flower. Very sad day, but if nothing else I took it out on all these little fucks! Almost every bud had a worm in, on, or around it...this is after killing at least a 15-20 over the last few weeks.

Big one

Another pretty big one

These fucks burrow down into the bud and kill it from the inside, so it is REALLY hard to spot them without tearing into your plants.

And the last one, I pulled one from the inside, one from the outside very well hidden and another from a different area. I wanted them to fear me before I chopped their heads off. Pissed.
