Is the F4 a one hitter or can you get a bit of session feel from it?

Been craving it but last two year I been dealing with injure and not been able to work full time

Got VAS so badly but so damn fringe poor

In my opinion it can do both. One hitter full extraction depends on your lung capacity and bowl size but even if you feel its too weak you can increase internal temp settings and get more power.

I can easily get 8 hits no matter what the load size. Alternatively I can easily kill the bowl in just one hit where most would claim its extracted enough.

EDIT:

Here is a new Firewood video from some old footage. I do also show the MVT at the end.

I used the FW3 and the FW4 (sorry, Marc) on vacation last week. We rented a house and I'm the only person who sees cannabis as an acceptable means of relaxing before bed. The FW3 and FW4 were a godsend to me. They were easily hidden, I only had to charge the FW4 battery once, the extra FW4 capsules made it very easy to swap out quickly, and they left very little residual smell that could get me in trouble. Fantastic!

I did decide that the flavor is better on the FW3 than the FW4 but I suspect that's because I use the little glass tube on the FW4. I suspect that if I were to pull the cooling unit off and draw off the capsule itself, the taste would be very similar.

Sorry, can’t add to the previous post.

Tonight I decided to try the FW4 without the cooling unit. The taste was better and lasted longer. Can’t say that the heat was any worse (and trust me, I’m a non-smoking pussy). I may go native from here on out.

Intriguing... Kinda counter intuitive no? You mean the cooling unit seems to not be doing its job properly at all?

If taste is worse and heat the same, then it's a fail...

Cooling unit taste worse overtime due to resin build up. I actually started using on the mouthpieces sans cu and have found its still amazing comfortable especially when compared to other vapes including the MVT..

I think the CU can be an overkill sometimes. It just makes the sipping experience too good. I actually tale the glass mouthpiece out from time to time for increased airflow and flavor if I am letting my glass stem resonate.

I have stopped using my CU as well. It was tedious to draw from on the go. I found that the temp wasn't bad running it native anyways.

I sent mine back to Marc last week. I'm hoping to see it in my box soon. I miss that bad boy!

Hey guys, so I recently pulled the trigger on the FW4 and I have absolutely no regret.
I just wanted to let people know how happy I am.

Ordered on August 13th, shipped on August 14th. Received here in Europe on the 19th.
It works perfectly ! I love the vapor it produces, much less harsh than the GH I think !(even without the CU).

As the only available option on the site was "unfinished", and I am not an anticipation master, I had to improvise for finishing the wood when it was delivered. It used my Limon oil for guitar fretboards (this) as it's almost the only thing I had for wood. I know it's not the best treatment, but it's better than nothing, and the results are great for the moment.

Do you know why the only available option is unfinished on the FW website?

Maybe Marc is just focusing on the fix, but that's pure speculation.

Interesting to hear some of you are going without the CU
I've been using the FW4 w/o the cu since it was released. I mainly use it through a waterpipe but also like to carry it around for stealth vaping. The best convection stealth vape imo. Sure its not as stealthy as the GH but ill take 18650s over proprietary batteries any day. I think anything above heat level 2 is too hot for me.

Maybe marc is working on the FW5 ;) I know usually he releases information around this time about the new unit hes coming out with and asks for some feedback from the community then releases around october. One can only hope lol

Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help
About a potential new Firewood:

I have thoughts about a possible 4.20 which would have a few minor changes compared to the fw4 or maybe just skip to a fw5 that would have some more significant changes. I still need to do some more research and development though and it probably won't come out this year.

The FW3 and the FW4 are definitely my go to vapes. Fast, reliable, stealthy and the most flavorful vapes I own. I do think the FW3 beats the FW4 on flavor, though.

Constant buzzing when you put in a battery means there's a short, correct?

Mine was working fine yesterday. Got home from work, and switched batteries and it won't stop buzzing.

Even the battery that I used fine yesterday won't properly work today... What do my friends?

While it may not be a short, one of the components might be damaged, Very while might be a short or just an open connection, definitely keep power sources out until it's figured out.

I keep going between the touch and the fw4, with Marc's track record of always being on top of his game, I think that makes my mind up for me.

Hey Marc,

Got the recall work back yesterday and just wanted to thank you for your due diligence in optimizing the unit safety for your customers!

@firewood RULES!
I second this and speaking of... Marc replied to my email on Tuesday before I even woke up, saying he'd fix it no questions once I sent it in.

Sweet stuff! Can't wait to get it back. Should be arriving to him tomorrow. Hope I'm back in business by next weekend. That's what I get for taking that GH jab in my post a little bit up... :p
