Yesterday I got my Sticky Brick Jr and I'm absolutely blown away! Smooth vapor in seconds, great potency, great efficiency. There was a slight learning curve but once you got it, it's a piece of cake. Overall, I couldn't be happier :-) Big thanks to FC for delivering so much detailed information!

Couldn't resist... just pulled the trigger and ordered a Spalted Maple SBJr.

Damn you FC and @disGRUNTled! Haha

Ordered it from PuffitUp. Right now all Sticky Bricks are 20% off with coupon code SBL, after the discount my SBjr. was $119.00.

That makes two of us! Thanks for the coupon code. Fuckin' psyched!

I know about @Vapor_Eyes draw technique & the Mighty dosing capsule mod, but can someone explain the extra screen trick again for me.

If I end up digging it I'll definitely have to get the WPA. I'm finally getting a Brick.

Once you get a good hit off it your going to love it. Although they're also super pretty so it might just be love at first sight.

@duff Boy is it ever! Can't wait to get her in & test her...(wait for it......)...HAARRDD.

Got a quarter of some Blue Dream I just tried in the Sup. Ooh baby, this is what I'm gonna use to test the jr with.

This is gonna compliment my SV3 nicely as an around the home vape & something I can take over to friends houses w/o taking a lot of vape shit w/ me. Maybe simple is always better. :hmm:

So...
Thinking of picking up a spare SBJr., during this 20% off sale.
I have a Spalted version, has anyone here bought the "Rock Maple" version? If so, how do you like it?
Fuk! Now I'm gonna have to get a Rock Maple to compliment the Spalted.

ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 (too high right now )
If I had to do it over again I'd still pick spalted maple, rock maple is a close second though. Just something about it...

I don't have the flip..but I use a Jr with the water attachment. I use it heavily and Ive never had combustion issues. It really works well. Its the smoothest/coolest vaporizer Ive ever used with the water attachment. I very rarely use it dry because its so much better (in my opinion) with water. Just my take of course. Sorry I don't have any Flip info. Ive been very tempted to get one.

Many people have great luck with the flip. I haven't been one and I've literally combusted every load. That's 7, it arrived yesterday. I was in between the two, that one was recommended, and now that I'm reading this thread more I see people having more success overall. Granted, I feel I'm a minority and the Jr has been out MUCH longer but I don't know, just searching for answers I guess

I did watch every tutorial and review like 6 times

Have you tried angling the flame at all? I know some have luck doing that. Personally I just aim it straight.

IMO the only good way to get the hang of a powerful unregulated vaporizer is to try it dry or even a short air path. That way you can get a feel for how it's actually working in real time. And not get the delayed feedback that a water piece gives. Especially a high powered torch vape. Just my opinion. I've only had great results with the jr. when I go with the smallest flame I can get a lighter to actually light. Real short.

And I have to go with the angled flame. Works great though.

Gentlemen, I've tried as low a flame as possible and then a little larger. I've angled and gone straight. I've also done dry with a j-hook and still charring at the least without really milking.

I have done 7 sessions I THINK (give or take a few) and have tried so many things it makes my head spin...:goon::hmm::hmm::hmm:

I recognised you said youce watched every review, you havent watched the NamasteVapes review and took the advice of holding down the hole as he intructs in the review? As far as i remember that hole stays open?

@cgod I didn't close the air intake hole. That doesn't function like a carb. I tried that yesterday but that when I thought it functions like one

Ive not used it but from what ive researched try this

Put it on the lowest setting, keep the flame straight pointing towards the top of the hole rather then the middle, quicky pull the torch in a foward and backwards motion, so aim for the top of the hole but keep the torch straight, go fowards and back (closer and further) with the torch whilst still inhaling
