What's your favorite torch or lighter to use with the Vapcap?

Nice! the gunmetal version is a better pairing with the VC tips for MY liking. The chromed one is too shiny. But the rips are a nice repetition of the sahüe of the VC fins.

I always liked the look of the Xikar Forte, the 'grill' design matches the cooling fins of the dynavap tip

Not cheap though

Nice!

Ticks all my functionality boxes:
  • Fuel gauge/window
  • Tool less gas flow valve
I'd prefer a dual flame or tripple for a lighter of this size though and at this price I'd rather go either cheaper with the:

Firebird by Colibri
Illume Triple Torch Butane Refillable Cigar and Cigarette Lighter Transparent Black
- $19.95

or for similar classy styling (although without the fins):

Cozy triple Jet flame cigar lighter torch humidor - £24.99

@Hogni, what does sahue mean? I did google.

If you want a cheap triangle, this one is great. Top pops opens automatically, nice size for hand & button isn't hard to depress.

Ebay

Looks like a good one! Adding to my list, tho must admit Vertigo dual and triple torches from DV getting the most use from me for past week (when not on PortSide - that gets 75% of heating duty).

I don't know... think there's something to be said for the chromed look

I mostly use my Blazer Big Shot Torch. While I have never had problems if you go this route do be careful both of hour hand and the cap.

Lo and Behold! The transformative power of Vapor.
I know this is user error...but I just thought this should be known about with these very cheap plastic lighters. I had no idea this would happen with a simple hand sanitizer remains. I ran out an bought a different type of lighter without this kind of plastic casing. Just thought I would bring this up to you all even if it is common sense and all.....I just didnt think about it as being a possible problem at the time. I have learned now...as I am sort of germ-a-phobic and use the hand sanitizers a lot.

It's iso that messes them up. I think it eats thru whatever material the body of the lighter is made of.

Same thing happened to me. I tried using iso like a dumbass to get to sticky stuff from the sticker off the lighter. Ruined it.
OMG :oGood to know. Because I'm dumb enough to purposefully clean my torch lighters with ISO.

Will be that much more watchful of cracks, etc because my lighters do get jumbled around in my dry bag.

I do own a silver Jetline Tempo which looks like the one in the pic, but with the Jetline logo. A somewhat more ordinary looking cigar lighter that will get more use for about town and the arsenal of torch lighters for long trips.

This Cohiba I got from Vaposhop a few weeks ago is proving very nice so far.

Full metal, robust, soft click, great flame, big fuel window, great build quality. My best lighter so far!
Only problem is it doesn't last long, needs a few refills every day but it takes seconds so not much of a fuss...

Still waiting for the single flint cylinder ones from China...

True Utility Firewire Classic ( TU 460 / TU 60 )

http://www.trueutility-store.com/lighters-c7/true-utility-firewire-classic-lighter-p56

Pros :
- Original Firewire tech
- High altitude valve
- Works upside down
- Solid quality construction
- Really smooth & reliable operation
- Wide & "rich " - " painter's brush " shaped - single flame without an inner blue core
- Easy to adjust the flame power / height
- Cheap ! Designed in UK ,made in PRC .

Cons:
- Heavy to carry .
- Although the metallic button is soft and easy to click and hold ,it starts becoming hot after a while.
- Rather small tank ( with my VC use I refill every two-three days ! ) Vol gas = 1,8 ml .
- There's not a tank window ( gas level indicator )

I suppose it depends on how steady your attention and your grasp is and what materials make up your vape station. As I mentioned in a previous post, I almost burned the place down once by dropping a locked on torch/lighter and after that I am very unlikely to lock one on except for in very safe circumstances (like outside).
