Discontinued MistVape Touch

Have alot of vapes within the span of 3 months haha VAS is serious!!

I love it, cloud machine! So far my favorite is still the Milaana, i find the MVT gives me bigger clouds and great taste, Milaana gives me thinner clouds but the taste lasts the WHOLE session, i used it for 10+ minutes a few days back and the whole session tasted the same, i find the MVT burns the terpenes quicker

Its my second favorite atm, but im still learning it, what a device!

Keep practicing! A few subtle differences from Mi to MVT, but kind of wonder if it takes a bit more practice for those of us more used to Mi than it would from someone starting fresh.

It's horses for courses for me. My MFLB still gets occasional use as it is excellent for stealth missions and has a really small footprint. I also have the power adapter and that lifts the MFLB performance to another level !

I have my favourites , but I like to keep the main ones on rotation. So for me that's the MVT, E-nano and Milaana.

I've had a vaporizer for over 10 years , the SSV was my first, and the Iolite was my 1st portable. @cgod You're lucky to have such a great choice of vapes as there are loads now. As mentioned before you have a good selection.

Great mix @soulfulrebel.MC ! Same 3 are some of my favorites too (along with VCs & Zion).

Still prefer the MVT to the Mi myself. Mi works well, but MVT refinement really does it for me! Recently flew out of town and wanted to take more than VCs. The Mi went on the trip, mostly because I wouldn't be as distraught if something happened to it or TSA grabbed it. As it turned out, I dropped the Mi and broke the female glass GonG (fortunately not until last night away). Will have to send it in for repair, but keep forgetting because I'm back with MVT at home. Will get to it eventually, but have no doubts if it were my MVT it would already be to Dave & back!

I like the 14mm form factor of MVT better. I like the instant heater response better. Seems easier to get lighter or heavier vapor at will depending on what I'm looking for in that session. I also like the way it feels in my hand and the way it looks better. Doesn't seem to go through batteries as quickly, either.

I am really digging the 14mm stem too.

Not to derail this thread, but all in favor of MVT so hope OK.....

Not only do I prefer the 14mm form factor for better hits, less consumption, easier to work with, and more flavor (smaller load = better flavor and less flavor drop-off before reload IMO)... I greatly prefer it to using Mi 18mm with the 14mm bushing insert, and not just because it is one less thing to keep track of on the go. MVT native 14mm just seems to work better and taste better. Though, must admit this could be because of the more refined heater as much as 14mm part.

Either way, the more I use it, the more I prefer it to any other remotely "pocketable" vape.

To anyone cruising through thinking about a new portable purchase, this is the one you want for full convection on the go vaping!

@DDave cooler on my mvt. I lost the piece of silicone whip he sent to connect them, this works pretty well though. I have a couple of different size of silicone whips I'm going to cut a piece off of and try.

This adapter seems like it might fit but I haven't seen it in stock anywhere.

Nice setup!

I also have a male cooler in 14mm and 18mm that can be used directly on these types of vapes...

I've discovered unscientifically, as others here have done scientifically, that I'm getting a pleasing number of hits per charge (LG H2) with my mvt. It doesn't take many hits for the battery to start to slow down in its heat-up time, but even though it takes several seconds more for the mvt to reach temp (I counted to 13 or 14 last use before I got the glow I wanted, as opposed to 10 tops on a freshly charged bat), it has continued to reach heat for a good number of 'sessions' (if you call a good hit or two a session). Nice not to have to charge too frequently.

Brought my MVT (and a vapcap) on a little two day road trip to help my youngest move for grad school. I use a Pelican 1050 with my MVT and Mi's, can carry 4 batts, a stem and vape with that nice and airtight. I throw a single USB charger in with the travel charging kit. Nice little travel companion:clap:

This adapter looks exactly like the one they sell at TAG, I believe I paid $6.99 for it and it fits perfect in the Milaana

1050 size, eh? Going to have to check this out. Sounds like a nice stink-proof kit. Thanks!

@GetLeft: I would really advise you (and everyone) to not make your coil glow.

+1, hell +50 on this one. I try not to do it even to check batt when out and about. Think we may find that this is the weakest link in MVT, and beating it up seems like it will bring problems sooner.

Absolutely spot on with all the above @flotntoke ! I recently got my Mi out as it had been about a month since I used it. I can get massive clouds on demand and felt like chasing for the day. ( The Touch will still get you clouds if you want ) After a couple of sessions was shocked just how much it had drained the Mi battery as compared to the Touch. But it's a bigger more powerful heater so I'd expect it to draw on the batts more.

I guess It was just a surprise coming from the Touch where I find it hard to keep track of battery life , just cos they seem to be in there for a lot longer before it affects the performance and vapor production.

With the mi I need to press the button on an off (modulate) after initial heat to get the best results. Don't need to with the MVT . I also found the Touch less harsh and now hit it predominately dry and not through my gong. which is where it's refined nature shows. It really is a great little vape and looks wise, one of the Purd-iest !

@flotntoke I'd love to try the Zion as it would be nice to have a tighter grip on that power.

@cgod What's your grain pattern like ? It'sb been a while since I've seen any wood porn

Any new Touch owners please share pics when you can please, it's always nice to see them.

@duff any pics of your MVT ?

Yeah I hear you but raise your hand if you haven't gotten a glow? This morning I was replacing my bat and stupidly put it back in positive side down. I have the switch too but it wasn't in off position of course. Luckily I caught the glow as I was setting it away. It was a bright glow.

I am under the impression that with or without the "kill" switch on the bottom if the battery in the MVT is upside down it will glow until you catch the problem or the battery empties.

@mistvaporizer Just saw a picture of one of the custom MVT's on puffitup's IG page.
GORGEOUS.

Once it starts to glow, I toggle the button, to keep it at a dull glow... and when flavor/vapor becomes very warm, I back off a bit.
I can sum it up by saying, I start with a glow, then keep it at a bare minimum of a glow for the extent of the hit.

There will be times when the coil glows but the problem comes in when you see it glow and you keep heating. Usually as it starts to glow I come off the button and feather the button based on the feel of the vapor. This technique doesn't work that well with water since the vapor is so cooled.
If you bring the coil to a glow and then keep heating so it gets very hot, you can damage the coil, at least shorten its life.
Vito nailed it, keep to a dull glow

Got a @DDave male 14mm cooler for this and it is perfect. Can't recommend it enough if the vapor temp is bugging you at all, I'm really surprised at how well these little things work. Much better than my last setup of two stems connected by silicone whip leading into 18mm female cooler, also much shorter. I have to say it looks a little goofy on my other vapes, but I actually kind of like the look on my mvt. Almost somehow looks like a radio or something to me. Best friends forever.
