It really could knock you out lmao , I had a coughing attack last night using mine but it was a good one , my girl was in the other room and kept asking if i was ok. It just hits really hard , i have only tried the ceramic coil as mine was missing the quartz. How is the quartz compared to it ?

I much prefer the quartz. I find it uses less oil than the ceramic (maybe because the quartz isn't porous) and the flavor is much better on the quartz. I can get big rips with the quartz with excellent flavor. On the ceramic the flavor isn't that great but you can get a slightly bigger hit.

For anyone looking to conserve with this thing I have a couple tips. It's super easy with the 710 to use your oil up quickly because you don't have to load it so you can just constantly hit it and the coils are pretty big so they can eat oil quickly. What I've found works good is to just dip half of the coil in oil while the other half doesn't touch oil. This way your not overloading the coil and causing oil to travel up and into the inside of the coil. For a brand new coil I would dip the whole coil in oil for the first couple uses just to saturate the coil but after that use the half coil method and it will greatly help with conserving oil. You can take one hit with one half of the coil then turn the 710 around and use the other half of the coil for the next hit.

I really thought the CF710 would be really popular here since it solves the LAYG problem with most vape pens. Im surprised not many people seem to own one. Ive been using mine since the first preorder batch and my original coils are still going strong. So far i havent found a better pen for concetrates. If youve been thinking of getting one, do it! You won't regret it.

In search of the best terps and smoothest vapor
I just read through this thread. Thinking about picking one of these up. Can anyone compare the clouds and flavor to a Persei/Hercules setup? I'm thinking this might be a much less finicky alternative to that setup for me.

I succumbed to the Puffitup 420 sale and picked one up.

Wow, this thing is a heavy hitter in providing a dab-like experience.

After several good sessions, my only complaint is this thing is not efficient at all. It is quite the concentrate hog. I'm not sure it will find its way into my regular rotation as a result, and it will probably be limited to special occasions or situations.

Flavor is amazing, hits are smooth, hits can be massive if you want. If it were more efficient, it would be a massive winner.

It can be a concentrate hog but with good technique you can make it more efficient. Sometimes I only dip half the coil in shatter to conserve. Also draw slowly to prevent your shatter from being sucked up into the inside of the coil.

Hey everyone we are testing some new settings for our live streams and invite you all to hang out and watch us unbox a gift from RosinTech. We will then be pressing and using the CF 710. We are going to get the streams rolling on a regular schedule and will update you all with dates and times.

Here is the link to today's stream at 4:00PM PST:

Thanks for all the support! A recording will be uploaded for those who can't make it.

I just received one of these from @PuffItUp. They gave me some great advice that helped me choose the CF-710, along with the great posts in this thread of course.

My first impressions are really good! After charging it up and doing a couple of burn offs I started with the quartz rod and the flavor was really good, but the first hit was a little weak. It was probably just from breaking in the coil. The second hit was a lot stronger, I can barely even type this right now. :freak:

I'm about to chill for a while, but I have to say the CF-710 deserves more attention. This thing hits like a beast and it tastes great too. The ease of use is amazing.

One question for @Boundless Vape Technology, does this device have overcharge protection for the battery? I would assume so since all of the other Boundless vapes do if I'm not mistaken. I didn't see anything in the manual indicating otherwise.

I'm really liking this vape so far too. I just wish I had a better glass container to vape out of. The one that comes with it has a lip and corners making it kind of tough to get it all. Also it has a tendency to spread out flat along the bottom.

What would be perfect is a glass cone shape with a flat round spot on the bottom about the diameter of the pen. Like a martini glass with a flat spot on the bottom. Rounded/sloping edges going into the flat spot too so the oil all tends to go back to the same spot and there's no corners the coil can't reach. A wide open top so you have room to move the pen around and get it all.

What is everyone else vaping out of?

Overall though I like this thing a lot, it will knock you on your ass. I haven't needed to clean it yet so I'll have to see how much I like it still after that.

I was thinking a Jyarz Chico might work well for storage but just now I had a thought that a shot glass would probably work well if you didn't need a lid.

I've just been using the included jar so far but have already started to consider other options. The included jar doesn't seem to be too bad if you can keep everything in the middle. The lip is a nuisance at times for sure.

I got a d-nail and I've been doing flower when I go out so I've been neglecting mine, but I really loved it when I was using it. I think I'll charge it up and break it out again over the weekend while I do some dog sitting for my parent's dog that just got surgery.

I really like my 710, thanks again to @PuffItUp!

It hits like a beast. You do have to watch that you don't overload it, it can be easy to do just because it's so easy to use.

I thought I would use the quartz coil exclusively, but I find myself using the ceramic often. The flavor isn't as good as quartz but the ceramic coil still tastes great, heats up faster, and gives bigger hits.

I think I'm going to pick one of these up. They are on sale right now for 30% off with free wpa and shipping.
They are awesome , definitely the best of the portable type dab pens like this , i tried the 2 other brands and the cf 710 is just a beast man. You cant go wrong with one and very easy to invert off a rig and dab off of. Also great for travel.

How is the reclaim buildup? I had one of those dipsticks which were one of the first electronic straws. It was horrible and it just sucked up oil in the tube. Does thing actually vape all the oil it's consuming? Or does a lot of it get stuck in the straw?

If you jam the coil in a lot of wax and suck hard, oil will get sucked up and clog it up.
It's easy to manage the appropriate melt-rate though.

The 710 spanks the coils off the Lynx Honey Straw...

Got some solvent-free hash oil and I love the glass jar it came with for this vape. It's not perfect, I'd like a shallow "corner" along the bottom (more 45 degrees than 90). Also the lid is plastic that might give up on me one day. One of the best I've found so far though.

If I ever notice oil getting above the coil or going into it where the airway get's plugged I just blow into it when it's warm/hot and the oil goes back down (usually) onto the coil and I vape it. I use it on pretty small amounts though.

I just wanted to chime in as I just purchased one recently. I also have the Dipstick which was underwhelming to say the least. The CF-710 on the other hand is not. I am very impressed with it.
Hook it up to a silicone tube or to a hydro tube to cool the vapor down a bit. The flavor is there, the clouds are there. If anyone is on the fence about this device. Don't be, it's fantastic.
Don't get me wrong. This is not going to take the place of a Pen for discreetness, or convenience. However once you get to your hotel room leave the pen in the car... you won't need it!
