Here is my recipe, pretty easy. I adapted a Vice video recipe by adding decarb and using a slow cooker for better extraction.

ITEMS NEEDED
Honey - 11 oz. (make sure bottle can hold 16oz)
Coconut Oil - 1/2 Cup
Blender
Muslin Cloth Bag
Funnel
Small Slow Cooker
Small Jar
Pie Tin / Foil
Herb Grinder
151+ Proof Alcohol (higher the proof, better the extraction)
Spray Bottle
Pyrex Bowl
3.5 grams of Fresh Herb

INSTRUCTIONS
1) Place herb in grinder and grind it to a medium consistency
2) Pour ground herb into Pie Tin
3) Pour some high proof Alcohol in the spay bottle(just enough to cover the intake)
4) Spay lightly the ground herb and mix it around (empty alcohol out of spray
bottle and wash right away to avoid damaging the spray bottle)
4) Cover Pie Tin with foil
5) Preheat oven to 220 degrees Fahrenheit.
6) Place Pie Tin with ground herb in oven and bake for 25 minutes. (may cause a funky stink)
7) Pull out Pie Tin and let sit for a few minutes until cool to touch.
8) Pour deccarboxylated Herb into Jar, along with 1/2 Cup of Coconut Oil.
9) Inside your Slow Cooker, place the Jar in the middle.
10) Inside the Slow Cooker pour a few inches of water between the outside of Jar and the inner wall of the Cooker.
11) Set Slow Cooker on low for 24 hours.
12) Turn off Cooker and let it cool to the touch.
13) Take Muslin Cloth Bag and put it on the Jar so the opening is bottom of the Jar.
14) Over the Pyrex bowl, empty the mixture into the bag and squeeze out the goodness.
15) Pour the filtered, infused Coconut Oil in a Blender.
16) Pour 11 oz. of honey into blender and blend.
17) Pour blended mixture into funnel into Honey Bottle.

NOTES
1) A little bit goes along way, start small, mix a spoonful in tea, coffee, yogurt etc
2) This recipe was adapted from (

Notes: I would skip steps 3-4 with spraying alcohol for added extraction effeciency. It ends up concentrating in the end result, and it screws up the taste. Did 2 tablespoons in coffee, was very low level high. Just did 4 tablespoons, Ill see in an hour.

I watched this episode and was intrigued. I always make sure I have decarbed on hand. I'm going to try this.

Could there be a place for lecithin in this procedure at all?

Ive read about lecithin before but never used it in edibles. I really wish I wouldnt have used the light spray of 190 proof to aid the decarb, in oil based edibles its fine but honey and coconut oil, the alcohol flavor is strong, will try again though without it
