I use two bernzomatic butane torches that all of the large hardware store carry. ( home depot and lowes )
They are single adjustable flame and get the block to 200c in 90 seconds or so.
How has your temp. readout been doing ?
I lock my torches ,but keep them in my hands, so I never fuck up and overheat the block.

Hey yea, left it 12 hours when the read out was doing crazy hasn't done since. Not really going over 202 as even though I might prefer high temps a nice micro load at 165 can be cleared in one go lung power allowing

Alright this may absolutely go without saying for everyone and I thought it would have 100% gone without saying for me! If you hate the smell of burnt hair, DO NOT!!!! Attempt to drain the butane from a lighter to refill while another lighter is in the area on flame lock!

Hey @vapirtoo. Do you still have your Vapolution Pocket Vape ? The reason I ask is b/c when I hit the Sup for the 1st time w/ the Vapo2 glass stem, the 1st thing that hit my brain was,"OMG! This tastes almost EXACTLY like my old Vapo Pocket Vape". Except the Sup does it w/ way more clouds & a bit better efficiency. It made sense though. Both are just simple glass tubes filled w/ unground bud & then heated up. I guess the only real difference is that one is w/ a little pocket torch & the other is a big ass metal block w/ 1.5 ft running through it heated by a dab torch. That's about it really. It did make me love this vape even more though.

Does anyone know of any decent torches that point directly at the block hand free? Loveeee the speed of the propane torch, but my two little torches are good hands free except the flames already starting to go and they need to be standing on a block to get the height. Prefer the big propane speed but will happily scriffice that for the two nice quality perfect height butane torches with flame locks.

Can see how shit my single flames gone in the second video, that's it fully purged and refilled with ventti the single best butane I can get my hands on within 300km

The Bernzomatic is a great hands-free torch IME.

Ok, really watching this thread now (sorry to interrupt) have never experienced an SV3 but a generous member is letting me borrow one.

If anyone is curious some of you from this thread have been discussing glass stems.
If you want a good few minutes reading and catching up to what we're up to then here is the thread.

Now I have a little catching up to do soon (thanks @VAPEHUNTER)

Ok, back to torches ... will need one or two?

That's what I'm talking about! Cheers
I've Got one of those can of butane too attachments but the end nossel is very shit big loud spluttery flame, it's very quick though maybe a different nozzel can give me the flame I need. Love the propane but it will never be hands free, the pocket torches don't keep a large consistent flame long enough for long term use I don't believe. My mate has a zirco jet lighter I want to borrow seems to have a much more powerful and consistent flame. 14mm GonG seems the next logical step for my set up

Hey Morty
The Vapolution pocket vape has been collecting dust ; no temp readout makes it very tricky not to end up with burnt offerings.
If you keep a critical eye on the herbs color changes ,you can get great flavor and great hits.
This vape is purely conduction so the herb does get dark.
Because this vape uses a torch , I do not use it in public

Preach! I feel your pain, I felt it too.

That's what so great about using the glass stems w/ the Supreme. You got the temp readout, but w/ that same all glass flavor. Using it this way I feel like I'm getting nothing else but the taste of my herbs. Good, bad or indifferent.

Picked up a gram of wax today & am going to try concentrates in the SV3 for the 1st time here shortly. Gonna try it w/ the glass tubes sandwich style tonight & then w/ the Herbalizer concentrate pads & Vapocane adapter double decker style tomorrow night. :rip: :peace:

I never thought anyone can improve on the glass stems, shout out for the original idea to @lazylathe .
But then @biohacker took on the one man mission to find our glass guy  :bowdown: @PeteSeattle . And now here we are. Biohacker I think your prayers have finally been answered my friend:nod:.

So again thank you @lazylathe @biohacker and @PeteSeattle without you three we would still be only dreaming of these.

Thanks all of you, and thanks to you @VAPEHUNTER for being a key player in this process as well, as your glass stems have helped evolve our goals and have been greatly appreciated, especially like the more clumsy (idiotic) guys like myself!

I just got the notification! I skipped wake and bake in anticipation!

Sounds like someone has some reviewing to do? :goon::brow: But I bet you're too :mmmm: :whip:

Speaking of reviewing to do, my GonG's from @PeteSeattle have landed! First the bad news? Pete was generous enough to include two, and during the dark evening hours finishing testing on my patio, one rolled off the table about 2.5 feet on to a composite board deck and chattered. I'm not even sure i'll ever be the same  First glass casualty in over 6 months, but life goes on..

The testing went pretty awesome, and this thing is cutting edge. It seems like such a simple concept, but it makes a pretty significant difference, in my life anyway. It's so much sleeker/cleaner, and not that i ever really used them, but no need for grommets. Having some of those little roll stops like the PVHES gong's have would be gold for future revisions if possible, just to prevent something like that 2" roll that happened to me last night. What a feeling watching one of your two offspring so shortly after birth, get killed right in front of you. The horror! I digress..

The GonG's have a really nice finish, great job Pete. Super awesome fit, so clean, lots space for herb, with the pinch. This one has an inside diameter/airflow the same as the stems @VAPEHUNTER cut me, there is definitely some restriction compared to my recently broken glass stem that @lazylathe made me some time back. Are you guys using different tubes? I swear that when I used my glass tube from Lazy, I couldn't really even detect a difference between its airflow and a stock metal? Now with my newly cut glass stems from vapehunter and the new gong from Pete, i notice a pretty strong restriction in comparison, obviously contingent on my loading, etc. but something that I really need to be mindful of, and loading is a bit more tedious.

The flavour of the all glass is really something, especially with a coarse shred or just chunks of nugs. @PeteSeattle sign me up for anything else you have coming buddy and thanks so much for bringing it! So nice to see it come to fruition when all I thought was that it was a shot in the dark via a 2 second PM. You da man bro!!!!

The Supreme continues to be my all time favourite vape and truthfully, the only one that can really do it for me. What else out there can provide such smooth, dense, tasty, vapour that is cool and non-irritating at moderate to upper temps? With the ability to work as a convection or conduction/radiant device depending on what you prefer or how you feel?

Seriously debating a second Supreme (dually?) for claisen double barrel supreme blastoffs!

Oh yeah, we need to get on someone to design a silicone heat shield! @Ratchett ? Any room for some Supreme accessories? I think the heat shield would be rather simple and quite a success!

@biohacker, hank you for review, bro!
Break seems to be over? ;) Enjoy!
For which part do you think the heat shield? The bowl?
Is the higher air restriction positive or negative in your opinion?
Don't you have tried the GS from lazy yet? He is so excited for it, perhaps an alternatvie for you too? But you don't want to have desk top vapes anymore?

I wrap a thin piece of cardboard (or a uncoated business card) around the bowl when hot so i don't burn myself and use a pair of pliers to remove the screen. Refill and enjoy a much shorter heat up time :)

Yes, as far as I know this is the current site.

you can always get a extra bowl for $12 when ordering.

It only takes about 30 seconds for the aluminum bowl to cool down once taken out of the supreme from my experience.

so no problem to share a session with friends?

@Herr_Dampf did you order to germany? did you have to pay import costs?

thanks guys
I ordered to UK and import as expected, but not too bad, total cost was still about £200, £40 import. That includes the $35 shipping.
Good deal for such a device, all included. And you definitely want an extra bowl. Personally , if I was going to be using it with friends regularly, I may get 2 extra bowls.
But you can hold out and see about the glass stems, Im not sure how they all work, whether you need a bowl and the glass stem slides inside? Or you use them in place of the aluminium bowls? (Just confusion from a post above.)

I got one extra bowl only, and that can be plenty if you look after them and can manage group sessions.
Good luck anyway I hope you will be very satisfied with the Supreme.

Uncut Vapolution 2.0 glass stems
(If your downstem can accommodate it)

https://vapolution.com/index.php?app=ecom&ns=prodshow&ref=VAP2-STRAIGHT-BOWL

If your someone who'll like to heat it w/ the stem inserted from room temp, then you'll have to wait for the block to cool down in between bowls.

would it be possible jsut to load once and make 4 people happy with that single bowl
I would say no (depending on your tolerances).

In beta for gong bowls ... check out the DIY page! We'll be doing another round with improvements.

Got home from work just as my wife was leaving with the kids for a couple hours:brow: let the testing begin:evil:.

First of all let me say WOW these things Fukin rock! The seal is perfect and the thick glass really gives it a nice solid feel. I didn't even hesitate carrying my bubbler around with my SV3 attached by the glass stem.

So SMOOOTH and effective.

Apologies ... I've already have more than enough beta testers but we are so close to having a functional gong bowl.
