I have seen this cbd only vape is being trialled by nhs and is legally available in uk. Available at Medivap.

Anyone tried it and has anyone tried vaping pure cbd. I know it doesn't get u high but could it help ease cravings when not vaping normal herb?

Please share your thoughts people....

I tried replacing thc strains with cbd strains for a while. I also tried adding cbd strains into my vaping routine just because of reading about it supossedly protecting against negitive effects of high thc and thc only strains .

i have had access to high cbd strains from regulated goverment aproved legal medical producers here in canada since around june 2014 . ive been experimenting with them ever since.

When i say cbd strains most have thc and cbd in varying amounts but there is a couple ive tried that the thc is very low , example one strain was 13 percent cbd and only 0.52 percent thc . so there is still a tiny bit of thc there but should be low enough for no effect .

At first i liked them and belived the hype and thought they really did seem to have a calming effect on me, as i read claimed countless times all over the internet. but what im finding now and have noticed for quite some time is .

If i use to much high cbd strains or cbd only strains i get a very negitive effect . to the point i am now thinking the cbd hype is just that hype. I find i feel kind of aweful after a while it even causes me axity. There is some studies out there that show in cronic doses as opossed to acute doses that cbd can actully cause anxity and disphoria. Which i think in my case may be why i am starting to not like it .

cbd is an antagonist compound that slows receptor ( cannabinloid receptor) signalling... thc an an agonist compound opens receptor signalling... the balance of the two work synergistic together

not sure if that plays any part why it seems to have these effects on me or not . but iv looked high and low for info . almost all the info i come across seems to be how good cbd is and free from side effects.

here is some stuff that i found . i dont pretend to understand it all but seems to be almost everything you could want to know about cbd

another pretty much the same , but maybe a little easier to read . both were easy to find googling there is a little bit in both about cbd causing irritability and anxiety . but for the most part it sounds like great medicine . in my case i think it comes down to the length of time even there chronic long term studies for the most part arent as long as my 3 year history with cbd

because we have identified the two endocannabinoids ( anandamide/ 2-AG) that regulate homeostasis of cellular signalling and found that thc and cbd mimic both of those endogenous ligands it is determined that the balance of both thc and cbd working synergistic of one another would be best as medicine... just activating the antagonist ability cbd has on our biology over a long period of time could reset ECS functioning in a bad way... adding just a tiny bit of thc along with the cbd will offset that out of balance IMO... just speculating really but if our biology uses more than one ligand to bind/signal with it makes sense that any biomimicry agent should signal multiple pathways as well..........

edit. the same goes for thc... just activating the agonist effects of thc over a long time ( recreational cannabis!) would adversely effect the ECS too where cbd could balance the effects out
