The HydroBrick by Sticky Brick Labs

Another Sticky Brick Maxx convert here.

First few attempts were meh, but after I figured out how hot I could run it, I got an absurd number of face-melting hits from .15g of dry herb.

Feels almost like hits from my 18" straight tube, but completely lucid whereas the bong would have made conversation impossible.

"$200 for a little bit of wood and glass? Pff... where's my face?!? I can't feel my face!"

What I find insane part from the face melting nature of it is the fact that you get such an even vaped bowl with such simple wizardry

my technique improved that much that I can finish a full bowl in two hits with perfect abv left...big clouds... only negative is I am using a lot of herb when I finish the bowl in two hits, so I would say that is not good if you want to safe herb...)
the sb maxx is now my daily driver only problem is it is not really stealth and portable...
so now I am thinking of buying the junior sb which is portable but also not stealth... or should I buy a milaana... do not know if I need to buy one of those already have a gh... also think the technique for the junior is different (if it would be stealth and I could use it when outdoor I would not think a second about it....)... and I thought/hoped I left behind VAS... should not spend too much money....

same here, ive been barely covering the screen and I get just as ripped as if I fill the bowl, I'm thinking less is more? I think I'm going to pick up a vapman or two to go along with this..

If i fill the bowl half full (not changing the flame length of the torch and draw speed) is now my effiecency setting (or eco mode for herb consumption)... this way I get more smaller clouds and the abv is turning slower to dark brown

I like how verstile this vape is

I own a vapman did not use it for a long time... will try it later...

BTW I am often paranoid after taking a quick hit from the sb maxx and I have to leave the house... that the house will catch fire...

Purple Elephant, drinking a colab between MIA and CCB The Oud Couple tart Brown Ale.Listening to Action Bronson , the Brick getting run again I use glass 99 % of the time , felt like going without it tonight though.

I always love your posts too, here and over GC. Just a q, how the hell did you fill the standard torch lighter so much? :D The maximum I can fill is half way. Tried so many times and can't go over that.
Anyway I have had the Hydrobrick for couple of months now, and this guy hits hard, very hard. I love the fact that you can enjoy your bowl in different sesh, without the need to vape it all like to battery powered vaporizers. With my battery ones, I feel forced to finish it, otherwise if I stop it half way, the taste will be disgusting when I re-vape it. (taste freak here) Instead, in the Hydro the bud stay with a decent taste.
I only found one down side, it stinks as hell after the sesh, any suggestion?

Thanks mang, as far a smell if I think mine stinks,I will clean it with some warm water and dish soap on a q-tip.Then let it get some sun outside for a couple of hours and the smell is gone.

GSC is the strain today , forgot how much fun the brick was so will prob keep using it thru Sunday .

LOL, I did it yesterday too , I think I like the brick better this way, until I get the sticky glass which is almost like the piece on it now. They way I used it with glass feels like the vapor has to travel too much .
Completely agree, I like the maxx best dry. Well......I like everything dry, once in a while I bust out the WP for novelty but I hate cleaning and drying it after so those times are few

I know you weren't asking me but I prefer the Sticky Brick vapes to the Grasshopper. The only thing the Grasshopper offers me that they don't is extreme stealth and the very small size.

The Sticky Brick Labs vaporizers have better cloud production, flavor, durability, and reliability. They cost less and the recurring cost of butane is less expensive than buying batteries and charging them. And when you are away from the grid for a while it's a lot easier to carry a few torches or a can of butane than messing with powerbanks, charging cables, and short battery life.

It sounds like you need to purge the torch. The best time to do it is when it is empty, or nearly so. Hold it upside down for a minute or two and then carefully depress the filling valve with a ballpoint pen or similar object, make sure you are in a well ventilated area and point it away from your face.

Check out this resource for some great torch advice:

http://fuckcombustion.com/resources/butane-quality-lighter-refuelling-technique.19/

Never fill a torch completely full. There are methods people will suggest to get more fluid in than the default fill level, don't use them. That puts extra pressure on the torch that could cause issues with inconsistent flames, shorter life span, or even catastrophic failure in rare instances.

I believe the amount recommended is 80% full. When filling your torch with the proper technique it will stop accepting fluid on its own at about the 80% mark and will start to "leak" butane at the filling valve. Stop filling at this point, don't try to pump more in.

.

I am also using my stickbricks maxx more often then the gh...
But I am not sure now which vape makes bigger clouds... also the vapor clouds look different... hmmm hard to discribe, will experiment later more and let you know...
but it seems like the effects of the gh are stronger... maybe because I am using the sb maxx more then gh nowadays....
also ordered me a milaana and I am very curious how it will be... (I am a cloud chaser, coming from smokng)
