The mystery of the delivery that never was has been solved. I got a card today to say I have to pay £15.75 customs charges plus £8 fee for handling. £23.75 [that's $30.62] extra for a ti tip and a basic maintenance kit!!

Order was placed on the 2nd... got order confirmation on the 3rd.
Emailed after 8 days, no reply yet. :(

Yeah... I'll probably keep the order active... at least for a few more days.


Or you could cancel the order and spend the money at home.

Tonight I received my shipping confirmation from Dynavap! :clap:

I ordered the 1st of july at 11 AM.

So luckily in 10-15 days I'll have 8 Ms for friends and some other accesories! :rockon:

Hope this info help you guys with your first order pending...

You may want to get comfortable. They will get to you.
It took till last night to get just the first twenty hours of the sales orders processed and the shipping labels printed. Got my shipped notice last night, ordered July 1 at 2:00 pm. I'm sure its still in with a pile of other green pouches headed out today when the mailman comes.
I think it would be expecting too much if people think they will finish the rest of the sales orders by the end of this week, as @Arielle.Dynavap had mentioned early on. There is still roughly 4 more days of Sale orders to go. Although they may be through the 20 hour M for a friend batch of orders, which had to be massive. So it could be all down hill from here.

Yeah... if everything stays on schedule as posted in main thread, would guess you'll see shipping notice some time next week. Colorado? Depending on your local USPS I'd think you'll have it by next Friday (7/21) at latest, depending on what you ordered and how stock held up through sale.

Ordered early on the 1st, got my shipping email on the 12th. Just keeping my fingers crossed regarding the UK customs. . . Got lucky last time in the 420 sale, so I can't complain too much if I get 'selected' this time. .

i am not sure what day i completed my order on since i made some changes to it, i think it was July 3rd. i know i completed it before the sale date was over but no shipping notice as of yet. i have plenty of toys to keep me busy but i still have to keep fighting the urge to ask where mine is :(

Ordered the 30th and updated/added to it the 1st, I think changing my order slowed mine down, still to email and site still shows original order items that were removed..... I think I may have painted myself into the waiting corner!

i feel like i did the same thing as you and may be in the same situation. Of course i did mine all in the same day. I placed my original order on the 3rd and realized that i put in the wrong set of extra screens and forgot a torch. so on the same day i made the changes and emailed Dynavap. they told me the same day that i would get a refund and the order would be updated. they said the refund would take 24 hours. 3 days later no refund so i sent them a nice email and again, same day i got a reply and they said they fixed it and and re-did the refund. 24 hours later the refund showed in my bank but my order on the Dynavap website still shows the set of screens i was refunded still on the order. so my order has not changed and no shipping notice. I am still going to wait as i am sure they are busy to inquire about my order, but not sure how long this patience i got of nowhere will last? i am never this patient... LOL

I'd expect most who haven't yet will get shipping notices today. @mmenzie , yours of course could take a little longer while they figure out issues. My guess is they are getting out as many as possible, as quickly as possible, and figuring such things out could take a little more time/work.

My order was in a couple hours after sale started late on the 30th. Made a few changes (fortunately without issue), but is out for delivery from local PO today. WOOOOHOOO!

I got some insight this morning....

If you make a change to your order that removes things, they can't actually did that they software, they just mark it and adjust when shipping. This was how I interpreted Kavita's answer this morning.

I'm guessing when they came in the day after the sale started, and they realized they had a month's worth of orders and the pace was picking up, they put their heads down and started to unbury. I'm glad I did my part in putting them there!

Our stuff will come, this wait will be forgotten, and all will be satisfied. :myday:

USPS reports that my package wasn't received from the shipper until just yesterday and delivery is still days away. I ordered on the morning of the 1st. I think a lot of this could have been avoided if they had stated that delivery would be 2-3 weeks. Just sayin.

I dunno..... I wouldn't say delivery would take 2-3 weeks if I was doing a big sale, even if the sale would cause this. As I've said before, it isn't (wasn't?) hard to figure out if you did your homework, and any of us who have been longer time customers would have let anyone know who asked.

IMO waiting an extra week -10 days is more than worth the 20% off. Always has been for me with DV, and anywhere else for that matter. Too late now of course, but in the future maybe considering buying when no sale. Give up your 20%, but less time to ship. I've done it both ways, and prefer this way myself.

DV (nor most vape makers) ain't Amazon!

One other tip for the future. Puff it Up sells VCs, too. Randy and his team will probably always get things out faster, and usually offer same sale prices when DV sale on (he can't when DV sale isn't on). But, his stock is built up so you won't be able to get the latest and the greatest, and may be limited on other items,

None of the other vendors I purchased from charged for shipping on their discounted products nor did they take an excessive amount of time to get their products out (some actually equalled what I get from Amazon Prime). I would have expected DV to build up inventory prior to a big sale (this is not their first go at this) or inform customers up front that shipping delays are to be expected due to volume. It's all about managing customer expectations and unfortunately this experience has been somewhat unpleasant in comparison to the others. Hopefully the device will be everything the fans make it out to be.

Eh..... seems more like uninformed/unrealistic expectations to me, but what do I know? Again, not too hard to figure out what to expect by looking back here and in main VC thread. Haven't gone back to look myself, but IIRC this is about how things have gone in the past - maybe a little better this time. Would guess the other vendors you were dealing with weren't inundated with same number of orders - nor do they produce most (or all these days?) components in house.

IME & IMO DV manages customer expectations better than any. Guess much of that comes back to what the expectations are. And, can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would think shipping times would be much different than what they have been with sales in past. Expecting something different, without checking, is just as baffling to me.

Hope your VCs arrive soon, and you enjoy them as much as many of us do!

Where is Dynavap shipping from? I get USPS notices for anything shipped to my house and got a notice of delivery from a deforest Wisconsin but no official shipping notice from DV. Wonder if that's it?

Yep. That's it. That's where they ship from. When I get email, it's from "info". Think the emails auto-generate from their shipping system when they generate the shipping label. Check your spam folder if you don't see the email. Think mine from here go to spam about 1/2 the time.

nope not in my spam folder. i do have communication from them when i was asking about changing my order and then my refund inquiry, so i am getting their emails. oh well i dont need a shipping notice since i already have the tracking and it says it will be here monday which coincidentally is also the day my 2nd hopper returns from RMA
