Multi-brand HEALTHY RIPS FURY

Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help
Hi @vapen00b - Thank you for your constructive criticism - our vaporizers including the FURY are made with 100% food-grade materials and are not harmful whatsoever. They are also RoHS certified for your health and safety as you can read here: http://www.healthyrips.com/health.html. We have sold hundreds of the FURY and we have not had anyone else express any taste from the silicone and we have not experienced this with our own usage of the FURY. However, we value your opinion and we are discussing this as a team to explore any other options for food-grade silicone to make improvements to satisfy the most demanding and sensitive users like yourself :). If you are not completely satisfied with your FURY - please contact me personally at: teece@healthyrips.com

Hi @smokey_da_vape - We are so glad to hear how much you are enjoying the FURY! We really appreciate the suggestion about a 'cap' of some kind to keep down the smell when not in use. We have our team on it now and we should come up with a solution soon.

Hi @Bonkers420 - Thank you so much for your comments - we feel that your review of the FURY is fair and accurate and will help 99% of the people out there looking for an amazing portable vaporizer. We also appreciate the suggestion about the light in the vapor path and we will discuss a 'stealth mode' as a team.

Thank you all again for your support and we will continue to consider all suggestions for the continuing effort to perfect our vaporizers.

All the Best!
Healthy Rips Team

Hi there,

Thanks for your statement. I'd like to take you by the word. Wrote you a PM earlier today - I could additionally reach out for you via email, if that's more comfortable for you?
Good thing I'm gonna stress once more: CS is spot on and teece is very ambitiously working and I have high hopes that HR will work with all the feedback, think about correcting their claims and source neutral and well-cured silicone (it exists! Maybe ask MiniVap, IpuffUSA amongst others?) - and this vape could be great, it does have great potential. The more I hate to say: but like this, it's clearly not satifying, sorry. :(

I should like to revise my previous statements after finding I had mistakenly placed my tampon in the wrong hole.....I worked a 14 hr. day yesterday in the heat (AC man),I had not eaten anything in 24 hours, the power had been turned off when I got home from work today.......aaaaannnnddddd I decided to take a steaming dump on a fellow FC member to ease my discomfort........I apologize.
Really, I love FC and my only friends live here......
The Fury ticks all the boxes .....for me. It may not for everyone, and the gentleman before me expressed his experience. That is the essence of FC.......
My bad.
Stop by and I will fill your pockets @vapen00b , please accept my apology.

Really? @vapen00b . You clearly stated YOUR experience with the vape. It is not satisfying for YOU. That was your experience. I feel like you have been a bit heavy handed with your critique. After all, you got a response from the manufacturer, they tried to assuage your fears, and you are still battering away. Maybe the FDA or EPA could utilize someone with your ultra sensitive powers of awareness. This is a vape forum and you are grilling this product as though it was sanctioned by the AMA . Pump the brakes man, I just knew you would boomerang back around after your last few slams at the vape. This forum used to be fun, and educating. Now it seems more like a personalized bitch session. My Fury does not have any of the issues that yours does and I have not read of any other problems encountered. FFS lets give these folks a chance. If you want to shit the bed over whether or not its 100% convection, that's great. Otherwise I think you need to find a different hobby, or at least a different thread to frequent. Maybe you can hang out in the RBT thread and help console all the early backers.....Just a thought.

Had enough FC, I have enjoyed my years here but the personal agendas are too much for this cat.
Peace out!

Does this help the discussion in any way? I'm not grilling anything or anyone, please read back and try to understand. I'm trying to be constructive and have had several PMs with teese who does a tremendous job and has open eyes and ears for feedback while being friendly and thankful. I appreciate that a lot and will say again, that he's A+++.
Of course, it's my experience and not anyone else's. Everyone speaks for himself/herself and hopefully in a respectful manner. Maybe anyone can learn something from this?
Sorry for being off-topic, I hope it's all said.
:peace:

Hey friends, just wanted to remind you all that there is another person on the other end of the monitor, too. Legitimate criticism of the products is expected here, and it sucks when peoples' experiences don't line up in a positive manner, but let's remember to treat each other kindly and with respect.

This forum has proved over and over again that people have greatly varying taste and smell sensitivities. Those two senses are the ones with the widest range: some people are able to taste the finest differences between wines while some are happy with budweiser. Some people are not even able to smell when their own body stinks while others can know the last time you took a shower and what soap and perfume you used.

On top of that a lot of FC members don't even have the decency to precise that they still combust and sometimes even smoke cigarettes...

So this time I stand fully behind @vapen00b (who despite the nick is clearly no longer a noob around here) because I'm one of these persons with ultra high sensitivity towards silicone.

I don't care if it's food safe or supposedly high temperature or whatever (and I don't trust your FDA anyways, you just have to look at the history of how say DDT, phtalates and BPA to cite a few were deemed perfectly safe before being banned, they even sprayed DDT directly on children back then FFS!!!), if it smells then it's bad, period.

I can't use my Ascent because of this, same for the Project "Eraser". I can taste the tiny silicone disk they added below the oven in the FlowerMate 5 Mini-Pro that makes it taste worse than the FlowerMate 5-Pro which has none. I can taste the black colored silicone above the bowl in the FlowerMate Hybrid X (and surprisingly I can't smell the same part in white color in the FM5-S and FM5-Pro, proof that all silicones are absolutely not created equal)

I've been told by many members that it would dissipate and go away but it's false. Worse are the cases where other members couldn't even detect when they used that awful silicone bonding glue on the circuits and internals, when it almost made me want to puke!

So because *YOU* can't smell or taste it, doesn't mean it's not a problem for other people.

Sorry for the derail, just wanted to direct attention to my edit job above ^ this post. I was being a dick....

Nevermind. Thanks for reaching your hand and your words though, all good.
I respect you a lot and value your opinion (actually, you got me off the fence to getting one). So I know you're not that person...

Have a good day!

Fury will be here in prolly an hour :). Fw4 and tubo should be here as well. Going to be a great first Father's Day weekend :brow: going to get some fuel from a local shop that just went Rec boom. Now I don't have to drive so far

Update: So I have no affiliation with healthy rips at all and they sent me a unit to review. I am giving my completely unbiased review as I have for all my others. The unit does stink inside like some new sneakers. ISOd and ran through some heat cycles and isn't to bad but I can understand why someone could have an issue with it. Looks are great small compact and looks like very little maintenance required if you just brush the herb off. I did 3 sessions and was quite pleased with performance. 330-420 is temp ranges I messsd with and everyone preduced good vapor 330 had the tastiest but all the taste was very short, but never tasted unpleasant. Came out with a golden brown uniform abv no charring whatsoever. Extraction was clearly very good. Effects were above avg for a vape this size. The unit does get quite hot after using it a couple times and which can make the vapor a lil harsh. Draw resistance is little to none but can clog the holes with your hand or fingers if not careful. For the price and the size of this vape it probably one of the best in its class. Taste, form factor, quick heat up, no charring, decently fast extraction, fast charge time, digital interface, no maintenance. Great vape for a camping trip, on the go or even at home. I hope to get to try the force as well because these guys have some great customer service with great functional product. @HealthyRips.com. Keep up the good work and hope to be touch for the Force :). Posting a video later tonight :)

I'm feeling on the target here.... I assumed to still smoke some joints several time in the forum... frankly I don't want to add this info in my signature. Although I only smoke joints (tobacco+weed) and only once or twice per day.

The Fury provides me SMOOTH thick clouds, fine!

Getting to know this thing has been quite pleasant! The fast heat up time is so nice. It's just nice to pick up pack real quick, click 5 times and you're off. This things does really really well at all temps. Did a session at 330 and damn the flavor is so good. My original thoughts were flavor diminishing quick but that's not the case at lower temps for sure! the only issue I have with the unit is the smell. It stinks like bud bad. Had it in my pocket by a customer today and I could smell it. Idk if they could, so in that aspect it's not that stealthy but would do well anywhere that you don't need to worry about bud smell leaching

Hey Guys !VApes are getting more and more popular around here, Some friends were asking me on my opinion on the healthy rips, and since i dont have one, i decided to inform myself via browsing trough the thread.Sofar i read that you like it mostly but in the beginning is a bit confusing to me. There are some videos of another brand vaporizer tear down. Is the health rips the same inside just different body ? Has anyone already opened theirs ? It is great that we have their brand representative posting here, maybe he could show us one unit opened ,so we can have a better look of where air comes and what are the actual materials in the airpath ?
P.S I really dont wanna recommend something just becau

MY FURY and FORCE are amazing. I love mine. main reason why I'm getting rid of the tubo... the simplicity, quick heat up, tasty effortless clouds. I like the FORCE more than FURY but that's just because of the bigger battery and bigger chamber, but I think FURY gets thicker vapor in shorter pulls. They are a must have for anyone looking for a simple, effective and cheaper than most in its class

:) That's great, but i really wanna see is inside, cause if it is anything like the video in the OP ,i doubt i would recommend it to them. For example Herbstick ECO is also decent performing vape with a great price, but after seeing what's inside,i would never breath trough it on a gun point :D. Later i've been suggesting the vaponic more and more cause i dont really wanna feel guilty for advising someone to use device that i wouldnt.. I am not suggesting that it is the case with Healthy rips,i am sure it is ages infront the Herbstick Eco performance. Sooner or later someone will tear one down and we will know the justice :),even better if it is one that has seen some use.. Anyway their guy says it differs from the other re-brands and has better parts/design,so if it doesnt violate their company privacy rules it will be awesome to take a peak :).

Fury gives stronger, quicker hits IMO.(I have versions of both vapes= tsunami eruption and sutra) . also I like how I don't have to concentrate on how fast/slow my draw speed is with ' fury'. Just hit it. Easy or hard fury's heater can keep up Better than force IMO. Fury is a beast. Vapor production is amazing given small size but I feel like I get more flavor, or at least flavor lasts longer in the force during a session. For an on the go portable (easy loading, quick heat, huge clouds) you can't beat this thing. Cheers, D.

Well if this is the case and if healthyrips won't open one up for us I will gladly open mine up. I'm very curious as well.

Hey all, I got my Fury to review today! Thanks Teece!

I'm soaking the silicon and charging it up. I'm trying to get some pics of the air path from HR. Hopefully they have a dead unit they can tear apart.

The Fury looks very promising. I really like the size and and feel of it.

I still really want to see the air path.

The Fury doesn't look like it has any glue or anything in the air path but seeing it is isolated from the electronics would really ease my mind.:2c:

Be back with my thoughts.

Hey guys!

As I wait to hear about a Fury unit to disassemble to make sure everything is safe in the unit I decided to try something.

End whole "is it pure convection" fiasco once and for all.

I heated the unit up and got a thermometer to see.

With the mouthpiece off here is what i found.

The chamber absolutely gets heated by proxy from the heater underneath. Hot air rises.

Here is a pic of the heating design.

vn7dbh9368zean5w.gif

As you can see the whole assembly is made from SS so it absolutely has convection properties but the whole assembly being a "heat sink" absolutely adds conductive properties.

The Fury IS NOT full convection, BUT THAT'S OK!!!

I happen to rather enjoy a hybrid mix of conv/cond. Low draw restriction with effortless vapor.

So I wanted to settle that once and for all.
Healthy Rips describes it as a "full convection" vaporizer because in theory this is true on paper, but in actuality the metal retains a lot of the heat adding conduction to the mix.

IMO I don't think HR was intentionally trying to mislead anyone (or I certainly hope that was not the case) because the design is a convection design but with an end result of conduction.

I'm just curious as to why HR didn't do what I just did.
Easy enough to see.
Maybe they did not beta test it and went by what the specs said. Maybe none of them vape. Don't know.

Does anyone really care? Honestly I think the whole "pure convection" debate has spiraled out of control.

If HR marketed the unit as a super small portable hybrid vaporizer with super fast heat up that's a simple to use cloud machine at a low price, would anyone really care?

I know I wouldn't, I don't think it would hurt their sales I think it would help them because it is what it is, and that's OK.

Own it and run with it.

Just my opinion and :2c:. Will be back with more on the Fury.

Sorry for the back to back post.

:peace:

I'm feeling on the target here....

I forgot to anwer: no you were not targeted at all, I had no one in particular in mind when I wrote that.

But you know, I thought I had a good sense of smell even when I smoked. But since I stopped completely, it gradually improved and improved, it's crazy. I'm starting to notice more and more details (not necessarily a good thing when you live in a big city where everything basically stinks!) as if my nose had an increased resolution.

I think I'm just recovering what the smoke masked (or destroyed?) and I think it's like when someone loses a part of his/her brain: you can't know what's gone as it's not there anymore, so you don't feel it or realize it.... until if comes back!

Thanks... slightly paranoïd maybe...!

About the Fury I can't believe not so much people are mentionning how smooth is this vape, I barely never cough using it between 380-415 and get huge clouds.

Taste is not the best but pretty good for a small and rather cheap portable.

About cons there is 2:

- the rather short battery life, not more than 32mn of use for me. Although the charging time is pretty fast (but not so fast the ESV i.e)

- Personnal opinion but I would like to get a small draw resistance, I don't like a so open airflow.

The main pro is this honey like vapor, I would recommand it at first for guys with a delicate throat!

I couldn't agree more with you on the FURY. I don't cough ever when using it. Smooth as hell :)
